"Food was delicious, staff was very helpful"

"A unique gem, hidden away in McLeod Ganj. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Rooms feature world class facilities. Breakfast buffet is excellent and includes expresso drinks. A nice bar with a view. Rooms facing the valley have a nice view, They also have a full spa and gym onsite. Its also very close to the center of the area and is accessed by narrow city streets. Reception is great at arranging taxis to take you to local destinations. If you are...

"The room was very clean and the hotel location is in a peaceful forest 15 minutes walk to McLeod Ganj where the Dalai Lama lives and the main square. "The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks."

Toilet seats are too small and uncomfortable- it’s kids size only so anyone with good physique and height will feel very uncomfortable! Overall 3 star experience - could have been better as I have stayed in much better hotels in Palampur. This place is...
