I’d been here before, but now had a better camera, my Samsung S10 phone. These days I rarely use my accumulated Nikon gear, saving it for telephoto and night shots only. I hadn’t fitted flowers into my calculations, but there they were, flexing their leaves to the tune of the falling rain. Only one other couple were present and they were 300 metres in front. I had it basically all to myself. There’s something fulfilling about being surrounded by nature in all its forms. Best spa and view you have ever seen

We had an amazing family weekend away. The house was warm and inviting and everyone in the family had a comfortable space. The living area and kitchen was a great communal space and was perfect for family dinners. By far the most impressive thing was the pool and spa that sits in front a spectacular view. The photos do not do the view justice and the family now have great memories of watching the sun set from the spa.

Very luxurious property. Great position, beautiful views and plenty of activities for all ages. Kendall is a very helpful host and nothing was too much trouble. Would like to stay again. Highly recommend this property.

50th anniversary celebrations

Hawthorne Manor was the perfect place for all 15 of the family ranging from 3-79years with the house being just right for four families without being on top of each other for one week. The six grandsons (and adults) were kept well entertained with the pool, tennis court, basketball, table tennis, snooker, arcade games, etc. The house's proximity to the surrounding towns provided extra interest and everyone had such a wonderful holiday. The views from the house were just mesmerising. Can highly recommend for a luxurious, secluded getaway!

Perfect house and amazing view

This is a wonderful property with full facility to entertain, and even better than described. The new swimming pool is such a lovely surprise! We had various enjoyable moments in the pool - from hot day splashing, sunset watching in the pool, to night time spa in drizzling with pool light. The only pity is with the cleanness (e.g. the bin in the master toilet wasn't emptied, Check in supposed to be no person contact however the cleaner stayed in the house for another 30 minutes after we arrived). Kendall was a great host and very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break for a few days.

Great house with full facility and beautiful view

It is a great holiday house which has everything to entertain. Kids love the swimming pool, tennis court and basketball court. The house are extremely big. We had a great memory during the stay. Highly recommended!

Photos don't do justice to the location

The house upon arrival is everything as expected but the photos can not capture the feeling of welcome the house greets you with. Exceptionally homely for its vast size. Great for our requirements. 3 generations together for 4 days (OMG!). the bedrooms are laid out to perfectly provide 3 distinct areas ..perfect. Unfortunately for us the weather was abysmal but thankfully Hawthorne Manor is a great house to be weather bound. Thanks Kendall!

Perfect Family Getaway

I had a wonderful few nights at Hawthorne Manor with my two parents in their 70’s/80’s, my sister and her two kids (10 and 12) and my wife and our three kids (2, 6 and 8). The property was absolutely perfect (and exactly as described) and had plenty to do for everyone ranging from 2 to 82 and those in between. Kendall was a dream to communicate with and we could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a break for a few days.

Exceptional property and amazing view

We had the loveliest time at this property. It is beautiful, comfortable, homely and has so much to do. We were a group of 15 with ages from 14 to 80 and everyone equally enjoyed it. Very warm in winter and we loved the open fire. Kendall was a great host and very responsive. Thanks for having us! It was perfect.

The kind of property you will want to return to

The house and property was larger and more impressive than I had expected (and I WAS expecting it to be nice!) Everything was clean and in good order. The property is appointed with lots of extra stuff to make our stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this property and hope to return with my family.

MOST BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

The most stunning property with the most beautiful views. From the booking process, to checking in and settling in; Kendall made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. 10/10 cleanliness, its spotless and luxurious. The whole family including the kids had the most amazing time as the house was full of entertainment games and consoles. Definitely visiting again :)

Great house and location for a family getaway

We had a group of 12 people stay at Hawthorne manor with ages ranging from 3 to 76! We all loved the house. It was exceptionally clean and had wonderful facilities. We had a mixture of weather and while the sun was shining we enjoyed the tennis court and kids cubby house. While it was raining we loved the pinball machine, arcade games table and the many big TV’s. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean and we enjoyed cooking our meals. The host and property manager were very responsive to any questions we had both before and during the stay. All up a wonderful house in a beautiful part of NSW.

Great weekend break

We had a great weekend away with 4 families at Hawthorne Manor. The house was well equipped with everything needed and the kids were entertained with a huge range of outdoor and indoor activities. The layout works really well for big groups and the size of the house means you never feel like your on top of each other. We loved our stay here and would come back again.

Palmer family get together

This is a beautiful property and Kangaloon is a lovely rural area. The owner and the manager were very helpful with our inquiries. The bedrooms are stunning. The view from the kitchen window is amazing. We had our three adult children, their husbands and wives and our 8 grandchildren, totalling 16 altogether. Lots of room to play. The children took a great interest in the chickens and gave them all names. We played tennis and basketball and took a short trip to Carrington Falls where we swam in the loveliest surroundings. The whole experience is highly recommended for a group of this size.

Amazing property with heaps of entertainment

Hawthorne manor is a gorgeous and spacious house. We were there with two families and had 9 kids amongst us between the ages of 5 and 17. The house offered something for everyone. We’ll be back!
