The bay is particularly famous for its mussels and oysters, which can be tasted on site. Visit the beautiful, picturesque coastal town of Rovinj. A special feature of the town is that the old town is located on a small peninsula. Today, most of the buildings are still in their original state and take you back in time. Stroll through the romantic alleyways and sample typical local specialties in the restaurants. Medieval towns such as Motovun, Groznjan and Buzet are also within easy reach and well worth a visit.
