The house was beautiful, spacious and excellent location. Pool and hot tub and view were awesome. Plenty of room for our family of 8 adults. You had your own space but there was plenty of room for us all to be together. The outdoor showers were amazing! Monday thru Friday cleaning service nice. The heated pool included in price was fantastic. Kris and Kai were helping us and making sure our stay was to our satisfaction. Nathalie, from the concierge service helped us plan the perfect activities. Being able to take the golf cart to restaurants and the grocery store was great. The only drawback was it was only a four seater so we also had to take a car. But that’s nit picking:). I highly recommend staying here!!!! Thanks for the best vacation experience:)

Wonderful Family Vacation!!

We had our family group of 13 come for the week. This was our first visit to the Big Island and this home was the absolute perfect location for us. Not only did it meet all of our needs, but it was the perfect oasis for our family! Highly recommend staying here when visiting!

This property was everything we needed and more for our group of 12! Tons of space, big bedrooms, the perfect patio and pool with views of the ocean. The swim deck on the pool was perfect for the little kids. Can't recommend this house enough!!!

Great for a large family

My husband and I met our four adult sons and their wives in Hawaii along with our two grandkids. This was the perfect house for our week long stay. It is a beautiful house in a great location and had everything we needed. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The large kitchen was perfect for preparing family dinners together. The beach access was easy and the swimming pools were a great place to hang out. We highly recommend this house!

Luxury for a week or months

Beautiful property. Pictures do not do the home justice. Lots of nice smaller things that make you feel welcome: name-brand tissues, high-end soaps, large fluffy towels, plenty of large beach towels, plenty (over 30 shirt hangers and over 15 pants hangers in the main bedroom on the first floor) of wooden hangers in closets, welcoming fountain in front courtyard always running. Housekeeping service was excellent. Property managers generous with their time explaining and welcoming us to the home. Kate said she wanted to deliver to us a "perfect product" and she absolutely did. Seems that Kris and Kate really love their job. VRBO rep Kai also quick and responsive to communication. Pool was kept at a temperature we swam in for hours without getting cold (84 degrees or so). Description in the listing is accurate. Adding to the description there is a private lanai attached to the downstairs main bathroom that is beautiful. There are 2 decks attached to the upstairs main - 1 for a view and 1 for sunbathing. The shower in the downstairs main bathroom has three shower heads: rain, waterfall, and spray and all can be used at once! I think the main one upstairs has at least 2 shower heads, if not 3. Also of note, 2 of the bedrooms on the first floor are attached to the house, but not connected to the main house. You have to exit the room, step outside, and take a few steps (maybe 10?) to the main house. Loved our stay. 9 people were more than comfortable.

Excellent House and Location

The house design and facilities were excellent, especially for our family comprised of grandparents, parents and children. The location was perfect, with the free access to a beach club and the beach/ocean. We totally enjoyed our stay. Especially the grandchildren.

Great home for our family vacation.

Artevilla was just right for our family of 7 adults and 4 grand children. Pool was perfect for all. The GEM cart and Beach Club access were a plus. Ten nights were almost not enough.

A view of Paradise!

The property is beautiful inside and out. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the surrounding hills. The house is great for a large family! We all enjoyed having our own private bathroom. Having two dishwashers and two refrigerators was great! We loved the convenience to the resorts and their beaches. The pool is fantastic! Property managers are great!

Beautiful house and neighborhood.

Beautiful home with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the pool, the close proximity to the beach and the bedroom layouts were perfect for our family-everyone had plenty of personal space! We probably could’ve used an additional outdoor seating space by the pool (there is only one round table and seven chairs and we were a group of nine.) Having the use of a Gem car was awesome! Thankyou!

Outstanding from beginning to end

We’ve rented homes for an annual family trip to Hawaii for the last few years. This year may have been our best one yet. You can usually find something you wish you’d done differently but this year I think we’ve found the winning formula with Artevilla. The property itself is exactly as advertised. Fanstastic location, amazing home with many unadvertised little touches that made the stay even better than we’d hoped. Wonderful property managers….knowledgeable and responsive and the stay from beginning to end couldn’t have been more pleasant and convenient. I would highly recommend this home and the company that works to maintain and rent the home. We rented a home last year on a different island. The home was ok, the grounds were gorgeous and the management company was a nightmare. So believe me when I say it does make a difference. My experience this year was a complete 180 and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for many years to come.
