Great property. No issues. Great location.

our family stayed at the property over the Thanksgiving break. The property manager service was over and above. They offered to buy groceries and coordinate spa services. We did not take them up on it, but it was nice that they offered. The location to the private beach club was, amazing. Also, the access to the beach/fins, snorkel gear, beach chair was very nice. There are also bikes that were available, that we did not use them. Fantastic place and we would definitely stay again at the same location if we went back to the big island.

Beautiful Mauna Lani

Very private, secure location right on the golf course. Beautiful property- very well maintained! Will definitely stay here again! Would recommend to anyone. You also have access to a private beach, perfect for the family !

Best VRBO in the Golf Villas

We have stayed at several STVR units at the Golf Villas over the last seven years. Collectively, this is our 7th unit at the Golf Villas that we have stayed in. Hands down, bar none, this is the best unit. Period. Full stop. First the unit. It is clean, bright, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Some recent updates r4ally make this unit stand out. All the carpet has been removed and replaced with a nice tile. Walls painted and the unit is very bright unlike several of the other units which had original tan paint, carpets and dark accents. If I had any complaint it would be the televisions are not "smart tvs". So, it was hard to stream Netflix etc. for the kiddos. Simple HDMI cord solved that issue though. So, no big deal. Otherwise, everything else was great. The beds, the linens, all very clean, new, and comfortable. Kitchen had sharp knives - a common complaint for frequent STVR renters. Next the extras. Plenty of beach towels. Lots of pool/beach equipment including, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. The unit even has 3 bicycles. All newish and in good working order. Finally, the Golf Villas. We really enjoy this property on the Mauna Lani. It's close to the beach club and golf club. It's a little further away from the grocery but we rent a golf cart to get around. So, again, no big deal. We will 100% stay here again and look forward to doing so. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful.

The Golf Villas are beautifully landscaped and a quiet area; it seems primarily adults live and stay here. The unit we rented had hard surface patio furniture rather than what is pictured on web site (cushy chairs and couch on lanai), so that was disappointing. Communication with property concierge was lacking. Upon request, we were granted a two hour later checkout which we ended up not needing, but that was nice. However, the place was not well stocked: only two bath towels in master BR, no Kleenex in bathrooms, too few laundry pods (there were only two of us), a/c limited to 75 degrees, ants in kitchens and no spare traps to set. These concerns were shared with our “personal concierge” but went unanswered. Not exactly the type of communication and attention to detail I would expect from a concierge.

Friends Getaway

Great property to stay with friends. The pool was close by, only a couple minute walk. Grocery store, some shopping near by. We rented three bikes in additional to the three that the property had to offer. Various beaches in driving distance to property. Incomplete sets of snorkel gear provided, so we ended up renting some. Advertised to have air conditioning, although it was locked to be set no lower than 75, which we all felt was too warm, especially to sleep in at night. Took sometime to get into contact with property manager. After a few unanswered text messages, she did eventually pick up my phone call. They did eventually agree to lower the temperature to 73, but that didn’t occur until day 4. Overall it was a great stay. We all had a good time and mostly exceeded our expectations.

Enormous luxury condo!

This 3-bedroom is very large and it’s gorgeous. The place is super clean and has a wonderful private lanai as well as a balcony off the master bedroom to fully enjoy the outdoors, warm island breezes, stargazing, etc. The living areas and one of the bedrooms are downstairs and so you can walk right outside and enjoy the lush lawn and views of the golf course. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms are luxurious, especially the master bath with its large walk-in shower, sunken bathtub, and big walk-in closet. Plenty of hangers in each closet, all those details that make your stay easy! The beach club is fantastic and super easy to spend the entire day at. we didn’t really use the pool because it was sort of in the middle of the complex and doesn’t have the best location or any views. But it seems nice enough if you really need to get into a pool. there’s also a Jacuzzi which would be nice after a long day at the beach if you can make time for it, but it closes at nine so we actually never made it in there in time after watching sunset at the beach and going to dinner or even eating dinner in the condo. There is no streaming or any pay-per-view available, just a fairly standard cable TV package, so be sure to bring any cables/adapters you need to connect your laptop to the tv if you need to watch your shows! we would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous well maintained property. Lovely outdoor area for sitting, relaxing, barbecuing, and dining. Kitchen loaded with all the utensils etc you need to "cook like home". Would love to stay here again!

Location, layout, amenities!! Whole package!

Comfortable, clean, and amazing location in the Mauna Lani Golf Villas. 180-degree views of the fantastic golf course and Big Island landscape. Plenty of room for our family of 4 to relax together and have our own space. Comfortable beds, very well-appointed kitchen, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and even bikes!! Enjoyed every minute of our 8 night stay! We will definitely be back!!

Excellent Hawaiian Escape

The Mauna Lani Golf Villa Condo was the perfect rental for our extended family. The condo was well equipped, had plenty of space, attached outdoor kitchen area, and beach cruisers were a bonus for early morning snorkel trips. We have stayed within Mauna Lani multiple times but this has been our favorite location thus far. You can’t beat the amenities within the Golf Villas and access to the beach club. The property manager was a great help as well. Thank you for a wonderful trip we hope to be back!

We absolutely loved the Golf Villas! This unit was amazing. You wake up to sunrise and watch the sunset at dinner on your perfect lanai. The bedrooms are perfect sizes and we loved having 3 bathrooms. Plenty of beach towels and extra sheets. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful condo

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and cook meals in the kitchen. One thing to know: currently there are restrictions on the pool with only 8 allowed in the pool area at a time and only for one hour twice a day (not congruent). We spent more time at the beach because of this, but it was a bit disappointing (and the beach at Mauna Lani was somewhat crowded).

Excellent Getaway

Our stay was a great getaway. It was so nice to have snorkel gear and bikes, chairs and boards. The place was great for cooking our own meals and centrally located for enjoying what the island has to offer. It was great to be able to ride bikes to the beach with our snorkel gear in backpacks and towels in the baskets. Only complaints are that one of the bikes had a flat tire that couldnt be fixed with pump, some of the snorkel gear and boards were broken, but even to have a couple that worked were helpful. So awesome being close to the golf course and watching people play. My husband and son played the course and LOVED IT! Finally, concierge wasnt as helpful as I had hoped. We found golf courses with deals before they ever got back to me. Their response was not helpful and I felt like they didnt do any research to help (golf). I would definetly recommend this place and have already to several family members and friends.

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful

We had such a wonderful stay at The Villas C1. The unit was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need! You are a short drive away from the beach club (they provide you with an access card) which has walking trails, a restaurant and a private beach! The community at The Villas is extremely friendly and safe. Everyone waves and says hello to you. We had the pool to ourselves most days which was a nice treat as well! We’ve been to Maui a handful of time’s and this was our first trip to The Big Island and I think it’s safe to say we will be coming back again. And hoping to rent this exact same unit! We couldn’t be happier!

I can’t actually say enough about how great of a place this is.. quiet, comfortable. The patio does not face the sun at any time so it is cool and comfortable from morning until night!! Would rent this again in a heartbeat!!
