We loved this place! We have stayed at the Fairways before as we really like the location in the Mauna Lani development. It includes access to the beach club, a nice (though unheated) pool and hot tub and a small gym. It's near the Fairmont and the shops at Mauna Lani, including a Foodland.The home itself is quite nice and the pictures accurately describe it. It is bright and airy with a nice outdoor BBQ area. The upstairs bedroom is very large with a huge bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with tons of silverware, plates, utensils, as well as saran wrap, basic spices, etc. Beds are comfortable with extra blankets available, plenty of towels, etc. A/C is strong.The host was extremely responsive. For example, the blender in the unit was broken and he got us a new one in just a few hours. We look forward to returning!

The condo was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was very well stocked, the location was great and we enjoyed that the patio had more privacy and shade than many others in the Fairwinds, and the house was in great condition and very nicely decorated. The management was also very easy to work with and available for questions. Having access to the beach club is one of the biggest perks and they had a good supply of items for the beach - chairs, snorkel stuff, etc. The only thing I would want to let folks know about is the beds are very firm.

Perfect Hawaiian Vacation

We had an amazing 7 days at the Fairways. The townhome and location was perfect. We appreciated all the amenities especially the beach chairs etc. Having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was the best. We saw the most fish while snorkeling our last day. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Lovely condo! Clean, comfortable, and great amenities!

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely 2 BR. We took full advantage of the pool, hot tub, beach club, and walkable area (fabulous restaurants within walking distance). Appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, beach gear, comfortable beds, and excellent communication. Would definitely come back.

Perfect for us

Ideal property- easy walk to Fairmont Orchid for meetings. Great communication with host. Very clean and well appointed property with many extras! Kitchen supplies were wonderful. Area was quiet and easily accessed gated community with small pool. AC kept the unit comfortable. Main suite bed (upper level) was very comfortable and lots of space on main level. Laundry was commercial grade (large capacity) - very efficient and easy to use. Beach supplies were much appreciated! View to the rear of the property of a fairway, so no beach or ocean views; but easy drive to great beaches. Close access to groceries (FYI- great Poke there too).

Beautiful & Peaceful Property

Our recent stay at this townhouse in Kona was absolutely fantastic! The property was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to beach gear, making our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. Fantastic Stay!

This was a great example of relaxed comfort at Mauna Lani: the place was comfortable, and included bikes and beach stuff in the garage: a welcome bonus! Many Mauna Lani properties Lanai's aren't that private, but this one is, as there's mature vegetation around it. Love it, and was great value!

Return to Fairways

Return visit to Fairways. Reservation was made relatively late so choice of units was limited. The owner acts as a corporation so my review is based on experience with other owners. Relatively poor communication. Needed to request check in instructions. Stated he had sent an email that I never received and required another request to finally get the information. Slow in responding. Unit was standard with less amenities compared to others at Fairways. No cooler or umbrellas so organize your own shade if you plan on visiting public beaches or be at the beach club well before nine to get shade. Does have 5 bikes. No premium TV channels if that is a consideration. Overall this would not be my first choice at Fairways.

Wonderful stay

This condo at the Fairways was wonderful. We love to access to bikes and riding down to the Fairmont public beach in the mornings. We also adventures by car around the island to great food, kayaking Captain Cook, and snorkeling. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Mike was responsive to all out Our house questions. The master bedroom has beautiful views. It was a sanctuary to come back to each day. Lastly, having an air conditioner in the evenings made a big difference in our comfort.

Great stay

This property is exactly as advertised. Spacious, clean, and well-stocked, it had everything we needed for our 10-day stay. Management responded promptly to our inquiries, and provided all the advance information we needed for our arrival. The QR code in the room also provided digital details on the complex, plus recommendations for local restaurants etc. Access to the Beach Club and bicycles for getting around were an added bonus. Would stay again in a hearbeat.

Comfortable home away from home

This was our first trip to Hawaii and I wanted to get a condo to have enough space and comfort for my husband and I and our two sons. I also did not want a resort trip. I wanted to feel more a part of the culture and feel a real piece of Hawaiian life. This area had shopping and the beach nearby. It was conveniently located to nearby beaches, parks, and not too far from Kona for the activities and airport. It was also a nice place to retreat to on the days we journeyed out for adventure to further away spots. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There were no major issues and when I had questions, I was able to reach the management quickly and easily. I would return again and recommend this place to others as well. Great spot.

Plus- comfortable beds, very quiet, snorkeling gear with beach accessories with cooler a must, location close to store that never had any poke, and a great coffee shop. Very easy to access for daily excursions. BBQ nice! Negatives- Loud neighbors that stay up late, No views, cannot reallyWalk anywhere Kitchen needed at least oil to cook with, bathrooms really need soap. Not acceptable for this weekly rate.

Perfect for our family

Great communication with the property manager. Good layout. Private patio with table and couch. The garage had bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids. The access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club was great. It’s a gentle beach great for relaxing and snorkeling.

Beautiful property

Beautiful, spacious, clean condo located in a great area. Mauna Lani is the perfect area to stay on the Big Island. Fairways 501 did not disappoint…equipped with everything you need! Beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles were all used. Owner was quick to respond to any questions or requests. Highly recommend! 5⭐️
