The house is incredible! Kitchen is so well equipped which was super because we cooked in a lot. Bedrooms are all en suite and super comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect house in the best part of the Big Island

Spacious, luxurious house, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is the best-equipped and best-organized kitchen of any rental property I have visited. Lovely lanai with gorgeous views of the ocean and landscape of the Big Island. The Sonos sound system provided the perfect ambiance during our stay. Overall it was a wonderful, memorable visit to the Big Island for my family.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family had a wonderful relaxing vacation staying at this Hapuna Beach Villa residence in Kona. The house is perfect and even more beautiful than the pictures. We especially enjoyed adding on the Mauna Kea Club Membership for access to the two hotels during our stay. We enjoyed the beaches, pool, golf and had many meals at the hotels. Karen and Steve were very prompt in all communications as well as the on site property manager. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Truly amazing!

We had the best time at the home - it’s very well appointed with amazing views and an awesome location. We opted for the amenities package which gave us access to the hotel pools and beaches. It truly was a spectacular stay and house.

Superb Property

Beautiful home equipped with everything you could possibly need, especially the kitchen. Spacious common areas open to the outside or not, depending on what you want at the time. Quiet neighborhood and very private back yard. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Great location

A very lovely house. We had a few issues with the hot tub and the swimming pool heating which seems to have been corrected at the end of the stay. The house were responsive and we really appreciated the late check out.

Hawaiian holiday

We stayed in the same development last yea, but we liked this house even more because the property manager was flexible and responsive, the house had better ocean views and a useable backyard, and the house was fully stocked with everything a guest could need. All in all, a very enjoyable experience other than the fact that the Westin's family pool was under construction for most of our stay.

Thanksgiving 2023 on Big Island

Very nice stay for our family of four. We requested and were treated to an early check in that allowed us to hit the grocery store on our way from the airport which was helpful. Only hiccup was checking in the key code did not match our number as indicated on the instructions. A quick text to the property manager resolved this immediately. Our family enjoyed the stay here with full amenities and privacy with spacious bedrooms, A/C, and the pool/jacuzzi. Everything was clean and plenty of towels for indoor and outdoor uses. Beds were super comfortable. We also paid for the privileges at the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince which were great to be able to enjoy the resorts each day and retreat to the quiet neighborhood. Will be returning for sure!

Can’t Wait to Return!

The best, seriously the best place to stay! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has every amenity you could possibly wish for. Amazing communication with the owners and the manual they left answered most questions - anything else could be answered easily by their on-island contact. The location is prime with beautiful sunset views every night! The unit comes with the option of a club membership at a daily rate and I 100% recommend getting that as it made going to the beach, cocktails, and meals out that much easier. We do not want to leave but are already discussing a family vacation to return! Hopefully we can stay here again! Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home!!

Amazing stay

We have been coming to this area for awhile now and truly enjoyed what this property offered. The house suited our families with young children and grandparents so well. We took advantage of the passes to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna beaches, which certainly added to the ease and enjoyment of what this beautiful island offers. The property manager was incredibly responsive and we look forward to coming back on our next trip!

Perfect Home for Family Togetherness and Memories

The home is magnificent on all levels. Great location, layout and appointments. Spectacular ocean view. Conducive for family conversations, laughter and lasting memories. Simply beautiful. Equally impressive, and in my opinion important, are the hosts. Karen and Steve are anxious to please, responsive to our questions and concerns and abundantly kind. Too, their on island management team shares like qualities. The home, the process, the hosts and the on island management team are the epitome of “Aloha Spirit .” We are anxious to return.

Perfect family house

We have been coming to the Mauna Kea for years and recently began renting homes on the property. This house was perfect for our family get together, well situated and well setup. It had everything we needed to cook & dine in as well as go to the beach or enjoy the pool. The managers and owners were very helpful and responsive. We would stay here again.

Couldn't be better

The property is wonderful and well-appointed. Absolutley relaxing and enjoyable. Access to the resort amenities was great. My young children and elderly parents each found the home to be easy to use and incredibly comfortable. The owners are clearly interested in seeing that their guests feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked and has all the things you'd need to prepare a quick breakfast or a bountiful dinner. They even had ziploc bags and Tupperware which we used to prepare snacks for the car as we ventured around the island. Certainly hope to return someday as it was such a deeply relaxing stay. There were good instructions for using the spa heater, and tv equipment making it very easy to be absolutely comfortable. The kids loved having boogie boards available to them for the beach, and the cooler was very handy. Wow, setting the bar high. They also processed the refund of the deposit swiftly. So wonderful. Thank you Karen and Steve for sharing your lovely property with us, you've contributed to some priceless memories for our family.

Spectacular Property!

This was the nicest property we have rented through VRBO. The owners and property managers were great to work with and very helpful. The home was perfect for our family of 6 adults and can sleep more. The Hawaii sunset views are fantastic and the private pool and spa made our stay even more special. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Villa with Outstanding Service from Owner and Housekeeper

We stayed at this beautiful villa from June 30th to July 6th 2022. The experience was amazing. The owners, Steve and Karen, were very responsive to any questions I had before we arrived. I was taking my bike with me from the mainland and they organized with the Housekeeper to let me put it in the Garage before we checked in! This was not the case with the second house we rented, from Jul 6th Jul12th. They let me keep it again in the Garage during the transition period. Massive help! The house was immaculate with everything you would need. The sunset views are spectacular and the location in the Hapuna /Mauna Kea resort is beautiful, though you will need a car. We paid extra access to the Mauna Kea /Hapuna resort facilities, well worth it. Added to this the Housekeepers, Tina and her husband, are phenomenal. They are the nicest people I have ever met. Nothing was too big an ask for them. They accomodated my bike requests, gave info on where to buy food and places to visit. Consistently above and beyond service! Added to this, when we truly needed them they were there for us. The AC unit fan broke one night and they took care of it immediately (along with homeowner) and it was fixed the next day. The level of serivce from them was oustanding. I have never experienced the Aloha Spirit before, until I met Tina and her husband. I am very grateful to have met them! The only negative thing I can say is that I wish I could have spent my full 12 days at the villa and not have to move to the 2nd house. This is how much my family and I enjoyed it. Thanks again Karen and Tina, we had a wonderful time! Alex+ Family!

Hapuna Happiness

We had an absolutely wonderful stay!! The property was exactly as advertised. Karen and Steve were great hosts and Tiva the property manager checked in to make sure everything was good. A little pricey but we’ll worth it. We would stay again!
