Overall, we enjoyed our time here, but a few disappointments mixed with the good:
Pros:
Really off the beaten path
Perfect size for a couple, everything you could need
Very close to a lovely shaded beach
OK snorkeling (too murky for me, but my husband loved it, saw a sea turtle)
Easy to get to
Bed was soft, but firm
Close to other homes, but enough foliage and ground cover to feel private.
Cons:
One of the weekends we were here was a holiday weekend and the beach was VERY crowded. The rest of the week days it was very quiet, but it is a public beach well known for the shade, so just know on weekends or the holiday it can be crowded.
The description says there is an ocean breeze, but that was not our experience. I don’t know if it was a bad time of year, or if the foliage might be getting too tall, but there was absolutely no breeze at all. The air was still. With Hi 80’s in the day and low 70’s at night (2am), we really didn’t sleep… couldn’t sleep except from about 2-7am because it was just so hot the rest of the time.
Overall, we enjoyed our time, but it was just too hot to stay in the house without a true ocean breeze or a room a/c. :(
