Beautiful views, lovely outdoor space with the pool and hot tub, and indoor spaces for relaxing and cooking often contributed to a wonderful week spent in this lovely home. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and plenty of storage for your Costco food run. And particularly impressive was the host/owner’s responsiveness. Peter’s communication with us over even the smallest detail was timely and helpful.

Absolutely amazing house, property, set-up, location. This property is the best! The pool, jacuzzi, layout of all the bedrooms, the fully stocked kitchen, Sonos, beach chairs, umbrellas, pool toys were a bonus. King beds in the rooms was also a huge plus. Can’t say enough about this property except you’re also on the best beach in Hawaii. Book it if it’s available. Also Peter is an amazing and quick communicator. Thanks for the best stay!

Spring Break 2025

This property was perfect. The location is amazing, with unobstructed views of the ocean from the backyard and the house. The inside of the house was clean and had everything we needed for our week there. The backyard and pool was a game changer for the days we didn't feel like getting sandy, especially with the Mauna Kea hotel pool being under repair. Our host was very responsive and was able to fix an issue with AC in a timely manner. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again myself.

A Stay in Paradise

If you’re looking at this house, just book it! The location is quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of the ocean. The layout is spacious and very functional with having two separate wings. The house was extremely clean and had amazing appliances! Our family loved our stay here and all of us thought this house was exceptional and wouldn’t change a thing! Peter, thank you for being a responsive host anytime I had a question and appreciate the care you show with this home!

Perfect place to enjoy all of Mauna Kea!

We stayed here with just 4 adults, the house could have accommodated many more. It was fully stocked with all needed. Plenty of towels, beach accessories, and cooking needs. The defining amenities for this property are 1) views of ocean 2) pool 3) outdoor shower off master!

Beautiful home, perfect location

We couldn't have asked for more! We've stayed in several houses over the years within Mauna Kea and Peter's house is top of the list. Perfect location to walk down to the beach and hotel; great layout for mixed ages and a mix of family and friends; had everything we needed. Peter was a wonderful host. We will be back!

Family Vacation

This home was absolutely idea for our family of 10 (grandparents, parents, and grandchildren). Plenty of room for each family unit to have their own space. The kids (and adults) spent a lot of time in the infinity pool. The home was very well equipped and had everything that we needed to make our stay exceptional. The sunsets from the lanai were amazing! The beach was ideal for boogie boarding and Hapuna beach was a short 5 minute drive as well. Peter was one of the best hosts we have had. Very responsive to any questions and needs that we had over the course of our stay. Would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing time in Hawaii!

Paradise

This home was so wonderful, it is hard to put into words. The view is unmatched. The location was peaceful and felt like your own private island. The home itself was well appointed and comfortable for our family. The beds were comfortable. No detail was missed. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to enjoy spaces together and have privacy. While we had no concerns requiring attention, Peter was attentive and responsive. The check out instructions were simple and took little time. The resort is luxury, defined. Resort security was visible and active. We felt very safe. The meals at the resort are high quality with fresh local ingredients. The only disappointing part of our trip was having to leave this amazing place! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven!

Excellent Hawaii Getaway

My family and I had a great time at the house. The pool is large enough to tire out the kids. The beds were comfy. Everything was clean and tidy. The view is beautiful. Check-in was super easy. I’d highly recommend the house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway without the need to always be out and about.

Great location, great view, helpful host

To start, the location of the house is perfect - low down in Fairways South with an amazing view out to the ocean. The house itself worked perfectly for our group of a family of four and a grandparent with two bedrooms in the main house and a separate bedroom in a connected wing. Also, the flexibility to add (or not) a 4th bedroom was great for us as we were unsure until the last minute if two more people were coming. The house is incredibly well stocked - every time I thought I had identified something I wanted that they didn't have I ended up finding it. The pool was amazing and we spent most nights enjoying apps and drinks on the lanai while the kids swam. Although I did not communicate much with Peter during most of our stay, when our plane was delayed by 10(!) hours going home he was incredibly communicative, helpful and flexible as we worked through those challenges. In short everything about this house was great and I would definitely stay again.

Our week flew by...

This home is a hidden gem located on the most beautiful beach on the Big Island! I have stayed at many beach properties across the US with my extended family over the years and this ranked #1 in everyone's opinion. Our family included three groups...2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 grandchildren aged 10,11 13 and 14. The bedroom setup of the residence provided privacy for all. The house felt like a real family home from the minute we arrived, not like a bare minimum rental. The owner was the best, most helpful and quickest contact ever...thank you Peter! Our vacation was filled with so many amazing moments like snorkeling with the Manta Rays at night and by the Captain Cook monument during the day, observing the Volcanoes at the National Park , traveling around the island to see the amazingly different terrain on each side, the beach at Mauna Kea and delicious local restaurants. However, grilling on our patio on Fourth of July and watching the fireworks light up the sky over the Pacific was priceless. Mahalo for the memories made!

One of the best views you'll ever see. This home was perfect for our three generation family vacation. Everyone had a blast, but the kids most of all with the infinity pool. Peter was an exceptional host to work with and we look forward to returning next year. Having access to Mauna Kea was awesome. Highly recommend the tennis if you play.
