"Family friendly house with all linens, kitchen items and extras you could need. Was great for our family vacation and the teens enjoyed the river access in the back. It did get very warm and sticky in the house during the day, although cooled down during the night. There is a half bath not pictured in the basement and a playset in the yard for younger kids."

"Had a fantastic stay at this Betsie River home! Host was great and responded quickly. Location was great. It is a secluded setting but close to everything. Has plenty of amenities. Enjoyed the fire pit area complete with outdoor string lights that were really cool. Covered deck area was great while it rained a little. Foosball, disk golf and board games were super fun. "All rooms were very clean and the location was ideal between where we wanted to go for our golfing. The host was very communicative and friendly. They even kept us apprised of things happening the weekend we were staying. It is dated for the pricing. The TV needs to be bigger for the space , pillows I think all guys needed 2 or 3 to be comfy along with the mattresses. Not a lot of accessories in the kitchen like hot mitts to grab oven items. Felt uneasy using any plates looked like fancy china....

"Loved the extra space and the seclusion. I thought we would be closer to the lake. Couldn’t see it from the house. WiFi is plugged into a wall switch that was turned off when we arrived and not explained. Upstairs bathroom exhaust fan and window blinds were not functional. Once we figured out the WiFi, we were fine and enjoyed our stay. Lovely setting and a charming log cabin house."

Manistee

"Everything about this home was ideal. This house had above grade pans-which if you stay at a fair number of vacation rentals you know is fairly unusual! The fridge was huge! The bedrooms were comfy and I felt so lucky to be sleeping under the skylights during a thunderstorm! I LOVED the deep soaking tub- perfect after a long day on the dunes. We were near everything we needed- and Manistee is a well equipped town too. Having coffee out on the deck in the morning was a peaceful start to our day....
