Vacation stay

Home is beautiful. Only problem we had was not enough hot water for everyone to bath daily . Seems to be a Greece problem. Decor could be updated as well, but overall this was absolutely wonderful location. Pictures of the outside don’t do the home justice! Everything was clean and spacious. Outdoor area is outstanding ! Host was helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Lovely villa with great sea views

We loved the villa. We hadn’t realised that it was quite a drive to the sea but this was not a concern because it has a lovely location and three local restaurants within walking distance. This is a wonderful part of Greece.

Wonderful and family friendly villa

We came in with our kids and grand kids and we enjoyed the villa immensely. The view from the villa is breath taking. We enjoyed the well maintained and quite large pool and the short drives to the nearby beaches. The kitchen is very well equipped for home cooking, which we did twice, and the taverns in the near village are excellent. All and all it was a memorable family gathering. Many thanks to Les and Nikola.

Aa amazing Villa

We stayed at Vila Elsie with the entire family for a week. A group of 12 people. 8 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby. The Villa is superb. very spacious, very comfortable, very clean and every thing is well maintained. Great pool, very well equipped in particular the kitchen. Good BBQ stand near the pool. The view is magnificent. As well the owner is very flexible and accessible and helped us when we faced difficulties with our flights schedule. The local agent that maintain the Villa is also available and helpful. I strongly recommend Vila Elsie for families as a great base for a vacation in the area.

Stort og rummeligt hus, med skøn pool, og udsigt til havet og bjergene.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold, der var dog lidt langt til byen. Der var store Sten på strandene, liggestole og parasoller gratis ved køb af lidt drikkevarer. Der var sat ting i køleskabet til morgenmad til den første dag, skønt, og altid koldt vand fra maskine👍

Fantastic villa

We were 6 adults and 3 children staying at Villa Elsie. We had a truly wonderful holiday here with plenty of space for us all and all the facilities we needed. The views were stunning and so pretty in the evening watching the sunset and the lights of Kalamata. The little village was an easy stroll for a meal at one of the three tavernas but we mostly cooked at the villa including a couple of barbecues.We visited the beaches, Kytries and Kalamata by car as they were all close by. Would love to return one day!

Wonderful peaceful place!

We stayed here with our family so we could check out Kalamata and the surrounding area. This was a gem! Beautiful views, peaceful place within. A short walk to some great tavernas! They had small menus, but my goodness the food was excellent! Overall, we really loved Thai property! Very spacious for a large family or friend vacation!

Gorgeous views, lots of space

Villa Elsie is a lovely, peaceful place for a holiday in Kalamata. You are definitely better off having a car but there are three tavernas in walking distance and taxis are easy to book. The pool is a really good size and plenty of sun loungers are provided. The villa is a little tricky to find from the coordinates but once you know the name it is easy. The beach nearby is lovely and the villa itself is as pictures. Views are absolutely stunning. Good wifi, plenty of kitchen utensils etc. for cooking and a lovely welcome pack was provided. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great family Holiday

This was a great property for a family Holiday The pool was fun for swimmers as it had no real shallow end.Perched high on the Hillside it had great views across the bay but access to the beach by car is easy.The whole family had afabulous time

Beautiful villa with amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful home with spacious decks with spectacular views. Plenty of room for entire family. Well-equipped kitchen. All bedrooms have AC and main level has fans. Nice swimming pool and enjoyed using pool floats as no shallow end. Great host!

OUTSTANDING. FELL IN LOVE WITH KALAMATA AND THE VILLA

Les the owner was fantastic. Nikola the property agent was amazing and now a friend. We stayed for month of June. All our guests were simply amazed with property; the sunsets (better than Santorini) and Kalamata. We loved it so much not only will we return but maybe try to buy a place. Best review I can give. Enjoyable stay celebrating 70th birthday with extended family

Overall the house lived up to our expectations and all 11 of us had a very enjoyable week there. The house has an amazing view overlooking the bay, Kalamata and sunsets. House is clean and bathrooms are modern. The kitchen is a bit small for larger groups with just a half size dishwasher. Very friendly and helpful house manager (Georgious) who attended to any query promptly and a nice welcome kit in the fridge upon our arrival. Also lots of gear that could be used when going to the beach, eg sunchairs and umbrellas. A bit far to go to the closest supermarket. All in all a great week!

Best Villa Ever..

Can't recommend enough.. The villa was amazing. Very clean..very well equipped. The bedrooms were all lovely. The pool was regularly cleaned. ....and the views were to die for!! Both the owner and the property managers were always on hand for help or advice and made us feel well looked after..Can't wait to return!!

Beautiful house with an astonishing view

We were 9 adult staying in the house for one week. This was possible as nearly all rooms were big and nice. The terrace and the pool area was beautiful and the view were even better. Furthermore, whenever we needed a bit of help or advice we called Nicola and Georgios and they were very helpful. Be aware that there are 10 minutes drive to the beach - but on the other hand the view from the house were so nice it did not matter. One improvement area is the tools in the kitchen which are a bit small and few when you want to cook several dishes for 9 adults.

Great holiday

We had a lovely experience at Villa Elsie. The rooms are big and clean, the hot water is plentiful, and the bathrooms are modern. The view over the pool to the sea is beautiful, and I think the pictures here undersell how nice it is. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning and had wine to watch the sunset each night and just couldn’t get enough of it. The pool is great as were the tavernas in the nearby village. Overall, we were really pleased with everything and we’d rent here again without hesitation.

Great place to relax, superb views.

Great relaxing stay, walking distance to village with friendly taverns, good food, Good size pool, well maintained, private location, not overlooked, short drive to beaches with bars etc, Villa is well stocked and clean. Great views, peaceful evenings. Had a refreshing break, sadly too short, highly recommendable.

Stunning views from a spacious villa

We enjoyed 11 days here with a group of 8 adults and 3 kids. The views across the ocean are stunning, and the villa was plenty spacious enough to accommodate our group. The pool was very well taken care of, which was a big attraction for both adults and kids. The decks are all large, and we ended up eating outside every night. We had a fantastic time here. The only reason I give it 4 out 5, instead of 5, is that a couple of the mattresses were not very comfortable and the wifi was spotty. We'd be more than happy to come back again. Kalamata is a great base for doing days trips in the Peloponnese.

Great stay in Villa Elsie !

Great stay in Villa Elsie ! The villa is new, clean, very pleasant, offers many possibilities and with an amazing view over the Messenian Gulf. Terrasses with seaview and comfortable furniture at the pool, ground, and first floor. Lovely pool with seaview and barbecue. Climate control throughout the house. Ample and fully equipped kitchen (with cold beers and wine in the fridge on arrival day !). With room for over 10 people it was more than spacious enough for us (parents and 4 teenagers) but still very cosy. Close to Kalamata in complete rest but not lonely. Historic sites such as Mystras and Ithome at approx. 1 hour drive. The route to Mystras through the Taygetos mountans is really beautifull! Lovely beaches just down-hill (south of Akrogiali, 5 minutes drive) and in Stoupa (30 minutes by car). Many affordable restaurants and Greek taverns with good quality dishes for every taste. What else would one need for a very very nice and relaxing experience ! If we were to rank it on a review site, we would give 5 out of 5 stars ! Fam. Jan from Holland

Fabulous villa in great location

We had a fantastic week at Villa Elsie - perfect location a short walk to the village with three tavernas to choose from and the villa itself was ideal, superb views and utter peacefulness. Would definitely recommend it as a base to explore or as we did a base to relax and unwind in.
