There was mould or black spots on the curtain nettings, no air con so when we woke the windows were wet, and was too cold to keep the windows open for airflow, the curtains didn’t fit the windows in the main area, so it was either draw them to one side for privacy but the outside light shines in all night, or draw them to the other side to block out the light, but then you’ll be seen sleeping. No recycling bag or bin, and there was dirt in the tray that holds the hot drink sachets. Such a shame because the lady at the front desk was lovely

Good basic motel with decent kitchen in room -- good location to explore 90-mile beach and Northland. Only negative was hot tub wasn't all that warm.

"Surface Clean", but still generally dirty. Had to keep resetting the cistern in the toilet to keep it from continually running. Property next door is horrendous, thankfully it can only be seen out the back windows. Chairs were uncomfortable, beds moved so you couldn't sit up in bed and pillows were awful.

We're in the middle of refurbishing the units, so some of them are already a little more modern, don't hesitate to come back to check on our improvements! Good laundry facilities & bonus of a swimming pool & spa. Separate room for adults sleeping. A little outdated in apartment but functional. Would benefit from a clothes line on balcony or airer to dry swimming togs (eco friendlier).

Stayed for 2 nights 3days at Kaitaia then drove to Cape Reinga, Sand Dunes and 90 mile beach. What an awesome experience.

Friendly helpful staff and super comfortable beds. However the TV kept failing which was annoying at night when we wanted to relax, and the curtain wasn’t wide enough to cover the ranch slider window. Great restaurants almost directly opposite. All in all was fine for a stopover in Kaitaia.

the kids loved the swimming pool, I loved the location, it is handy to everything. The size of the room was great as well.

Easy to find..next to kfc and down the road to the township but not really much to say..the room was ok..had plates and spoons which was good and cooking hobs had a bbq u can use if u wanted to cook but the room looked very outdated and bathroom doors made a loud noise when you slide it across.internet not very strong keep cutting out having to relog on a few times.you can hear the next room turning on the water which can be quite loud in yr room..no pool as getting fixed which was why we booked there didnt help with the heat that day.

Great friendly staff! Had to clean the frying pan and spatula before using. No dinner plates, so had to use side plates. Really strange lighting placement, immediately above the pillows. And a stark contrasting view from what we are used to. The kitchen window overlooks the razor wire of the neighbours’ fence. Otherwise ok.

Ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber war zweckdienlich (Cape Reinga). Kaitaia ist abends/Nacht nicht so save, wie der Rest von NZ. Wifi war sehr schlecht. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Haartrockner hat leider gefehlt.
