We had 6 adults , 2 children and infant. Plenty of room to relax. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, and cooking. 2 refrigerators made it easy to stock up once. Pool was wonderful. Easy walk to beach

Great vacation home near Magic Sands

Great home for our family’s Big Island vacation. Love that it’s close to our favorite beach, Magic Sands. Pool and hot tub were clean and perfect size. We will definitely be back for another family vacation in the not too distant future.

Had a great stay

We have very relaxing and enjoyable stay with my family at this property. As advertised, this property is very close by to Magic sand beach. This property at a good quiet neighbourhood surrounded by some tropical trees, so you hear bird chirping and singing throughout the day. It was very relaxing stay.

Perfect for our vacation

It was ideally located for early mornings at Magic Sands, as well as all the things we wanted to do. Loved the space; plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and all we needed in a house. Pool and hot tub were ideal after a day in the sun. Hope to book again for our next trip.

Comfortable Home away from Home

Location, location, location Loved the central location to everything that we wanted to do on a daily basis. Home is homey and pool is a great benefit for winding down for the day. Beds were comfortable. We weren't home as much as we thought we'd be but loved the space for hanging out with the family when we were all there.

Perfect for the Family

We booked this home because it had the perfect amount of space for our family. We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers. It was cool in all of the rooms and had everything we needed to cook our meals. It is walking distance to magic sands beach and was in a great location for heading into downtown kona. We would gladly rent here again.

Nice place for a group of 8!

Overall a nice home and a good place to stay. A short walk to the beach, and a quick drive to Kailua-Kona. Was a really good location for our Ironman athletes. Without central air, it does get warm in much of the home by early afternoon, but the bedrooms are able to cool fairly quickly at night with the window air conditions.

Great Location and House.

The house was amazing and location was amazing. The kitchen was so amazingly well appointed and had everything we needed even the necessary condiments that you cannot travel with. The pool was absolutely amazing and was a life saver for afternoon swims. The only comment was that the main living area was incredible hot all the time even with all the fans on. Totally recommend this house for amazing family stay.

Spacious

We absolutely loved the swimming pool. The location is perfect. It is so close to beaches and the trolly for shopping. It needs a few portable A/C units in the upstairs common areas instead of fans to make it comfortable. The owners even dropped by an ice chest. That was very sweet & thoughtful. Thank you!

Great location & great facilities

The physical layout of this house was perfect for our group! Lots of space for everyone. The pool area was lovely and included pool floaties and snorkeling gear. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect, and there were lots of supplemental fans to circulate air. It got a bit warm upstairs in late afternoon. Overall, a great location, and great physical layout.

Nice place for a family gathering!

This place suited wonderfully - good location, good price, and the pool and hot tub were just awesome! We had read a few reviews that the place was really hot in the LR and that proved to be quite true! Be prepared for that. But we didn’t care, we had some older adults who didn’t like climbing stairs so the visiting happened on the first floor and that was perfect! The set up is really great - 2 BR 2 Bth upstairs and same downstairs, plus each have a kitchen. (Though first floor no stove). Everything was very clean, but also the house shows wear. If you are looking for really high end snazzy this really isn’t the place, but if you want comfy, convenient, and the fun of a pool and hot tub, this is terrific. We had a great time!!!

Amazing, amazing time!

Loved this house!! It was close to Magic Sands so the guys could walk there and back for sunset every night, but tucked away enough to where there is zero noise any time if day! The pool was awesome for warm, drizzly evenings when we were exhausted from being up since 6am! There was so much to do and see that it made for great 30 minute trips to hiking, coffee tours, snorkeling, great food-you name it! Each bedroom had AC which was great for comfortable nights but it did get hot during the day in the common rooms since they didn’t have AC. That’s the only complaint, just because there was not much of a breeze when we were there. I would rent this 20 times over and I highly recommend! Also, 2 sets of laundry was incredible! If you want a low maintenance vacation, fun right in your backyard so you don’t feel like your missing out when you have lazy days, tons of space and a real aloha feel-this is it. I could ramble on and on. Thank you for this amazing experience!

A almost perfect place

The home was wonderful, a almost perfect place. The caretakers were friendly and helpful. The immediately took care of a problem that needed addressing for us. The kitchen was stocked well with supplies for cooking and plenty of towels to go around. The house was clean when we arrived but in order for us to keep it cleaned we had to run to the store for supplies. Having a pool there was such a blessing in many ways. The hot tub added a little enjoyment too. Our one and only complaint, is there was no air conditioning in the main common/living room area. The bedrooms had air conditioning which was awesome, but when we wanted to be together it was way too hot. The beautiful Hawaiian sunshine was beating through the big beautiful windows, so we had to keep the curtains drawn in order to keep some of the heat blocked out. Having to have the curtains drawn kept us from seeing out to the beautiful surrounding trees. The heat especially on the top floor was so uncomfortable we were miserable, even with fans blowing! Cooking made it even hotte, crazy hot! The home really needs central air or at the least a unit in the main area. Many evenings we retreated to our bedrooms so we can be cool, which nullifies the experience of being together.I would return to this home many times if it had air conditioning, but because it was so hot I would not do it again. But if you don't mind the heat this is an absolutely wonderful place.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed staying at this property with our family of eight people. It was at very convenient location 10 mins walk away from Magic sand beach. House was very clean and equipped with all the necessary equipments as mentioned in property page. Swimming pool and hot tub were very clean as well. Above all, this property in very quiet neighborhood so during morning hours and almost throughout the day you can see and hear bird singing and chirping which feels very relaxing. We definitely recommend staying at this property

The home is very expensive but nice for a group needing 4 bedrooms. The house is comfortable and with decent accommodations The pool is a nice addition. The area is very busy so walking to closest beach (it is very rocky and without much sand) which is a little less than half a mile, must be done carefully. You need a car here.

Pretty decent.

Nice place for the price I paid. But the rate has 4X since we booked. I don’t feel it’s worth $1300 a night. Few things need work ice maker down stairs doesn’t work, one dryer is missing a handle. Frying pans are all warped and hard to cook on. BBQ could be replaced with one that has even heat. The outshower is only cold not hot. Pool light doesn’t work. Hot tub haha was filthy (got cleaned while we’re there. Great job). But would stay again for 1/4 the price it’s listed at now

Great home and location!

A great home for two families! Our kids and grandkids are calling this trip "BEST VACATION EVER". We loved coming back to the private pool after being at the beach all day. Great kitchen accessories to work with.

Perfect location

This house was perfect for our group of seven adults. It is within easy walking distance to the ocean and driving distance to all that the big island has to offer. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms and two kitchens allowed each couple/individual their own space. The bedrooms were cool and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked for the occasional meal in. The pool and especially the hot tub were a welcomed and refreshing treat at the end of exhausting days. There were a couple minor problems but Joey and Ezra were quick to respond. The front door slams loudly and the light outside the front door is not working, but these are minor issues that were reported and I’m sure will be addressed quickly. It would have been nice to have a little package of coffee on hand to get us started for the first morning, as many flights arriving from the mainland, especially the states further east arrive late in the evening. But maybe that’s a Covid thing. Overall, the property was great and would definitely use it again.

Quiet and Beautiful

This house was in a cul-de-sac and very quiet! The pool and hot tub was awesome. Hot Tub was much needed for the muscles after some great surfing. 10 minute walk to the Magic Sands beach and restaurant. Plenty of space for a big family, everyone had their own room and bathroom. Great customer service! I will rent this place again, what a great find and experience!! Thank you Vacasa!!
