We thoroughly enjoyed our time and space at Pauls large and very well equipped oceanview condo. The lanai was a huge highlight for us. The view incredible. The ocean pool, another highlight being on the ocean. We loved the resort, very well cared for.

Our condo was in a great location and we were very happy it came equipped with beach chairs, pool noodles, and a water football! We had lots of pots and pans to cook meals in and the water and ice in the fridge was a huge plus! The blender that was provided in our unit had a piece broken and after I messaged the owner about it, he quickly had a brand new blender sent to us the next day. This was very sweet and helpful because we bought a huge pack of blender smoothies from Costco when we arrived. We loved using all 3 pools and hot tubs as well as the ping pong table and pickle ball court. We were very happy with this condo and location!

Beautifully maintained property with an outstanding ocean view lanai! We have stayed at the Kanaloa Resort in the past and it never disappoints. Great location with restaurants and shopping close by. Highly recommend!

Loved the location in Keahou and the view from the lanai. The bathrooms were nice. Other spaces could use some updating. The unit was stocked with lots of beach towels, handy small coolers, and two great beach chairs.One frying pan in the cabinet had been put away covered in grease. Yuk! Otherwise the unit was clean.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She has a bad knee so, having something on the first floor with only a few steps to negotiate was wonderful. Parking was close to the unit and having it covered kept the temperature lower. The pools were all close by and seldom used while we were there. The unit is well stocked with cookware, towels etc. All appliances worked well and the air conditioning kept things cool and comfortable when needed. We had no issues and would recommend this property to others.

This is our first stay at a condo in the Kanaloa Resort and we loved it. It checked all of our boxes. We enjoy having a view from the lanai and this one was beautiful which, in the morning, was peaceful with views of both the nearby Heʻeia and Keauhou Bays (the path to Heʻeia Bay is great) and in the evening fun to watch as the dive boats went out for the nighttime manta ray dives. The pools were delightful-we swam in each of the three and my husband loved the grills.The unit was spacious and clean and well appointed with all that we needed. The location was perfect since we felt far away from busy and crowded Kailua-Kona town, but the amenities are very close. Keauhou shopping center one half mile away.We hope to return.

The property was wonderful. We did a little cooking and the kitchen worked out great. We ate lunches on the back porch with a beautiful view of the ocean and the property was conveniently located on the west coast of the big island.

We would rate it 4.5 stars. Very clean and the bathrooms were nicely renovated. The kitchen was complete with all the essentials you need to make a meal. We had a great time and liked the location was near the shopping area. The complex has an adult pool that we enjoyed since was always empty. The pools are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Great stay - everything was as listed. Very nice unit, quiet and good location. Spent each morning enjoying coffee on the lanai, reading, looking at the water, enjoying the birds and listening to the waves. Really nice way to start the day!

Really bad communication. Had a broken railing that was unsafe , a broken Murphy bed leg brace. Older style condo unit. Hard time to get ahold of the host. Other than that it’s a great location .

Paradise Retreat

Excellent property. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Condo comes with many amenities, beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, washer/ dryer. Very close to shopping. Go a little further and there is a walmart,Safeway and Costco. Definitely need a car to get around. Our first visit to Kona. Will definitely recommend.

Kanaloa paradise

This condo is perfect for a couple’s get away. The location on the island is convenient yet secluded. The location within the resort is also convenient yet secluded. We enjoy watching the activities on the bay from the lanai, where we ate most of our meals. The resort pools and grounds are lovely. Host is very responsive and kind. We’ll return!!

Perfect Place in Paradise

This is my second visit to this condo and we will be back! Nice location. Lovely unit with all the necessities for a perfect vacation. Wonderful Lani. Great pools on property. Close to shopping and beaches.located very close to the night-time manta Ray snorkel which is an excursion you do not want to miss!

I want to go back!

Our family of 4 stayed here over the Christmas holiday and it was just perfect for us! Even with 1 bedroom the condo is spacious, and the kids slept on both the Murphy bed and the pull out sofa. We had everything we needed including and lots of thoughtful extras that made our visit great. Like a beach umbrella, beach chairs, laundry, binoculars (which we used to watch the boats while we sat on the lanai), a flashlight (to look for stuff we may have forgotten at the pool), games (that we thought we would play but didn't) etc. A different experience I think vs renting through a company. The condo community is wonderful. We used the pools and the shared gas grills and met lots of very friendly residents. The neighborhood was really wonderful and refreshingly less commercial than I was expecting, but still very convenient. There is a shopping plaza closeby that was larger than I realized with a grocery store, drug store, gas station etc etc. Melinda was a terrific and very responsive host. Hopefully I'll come back to Kona again someday and rent Melinda's place again. If her place is booked up, I'd try to find another condo in this complex :)
