This condo was our summer home base as we toured Big Island and all the wonders. Checknin was smooth and simple! The central location made travel to beaches, snorkelling, the air port and shopping easy. You definately need a car and the this slice of heaven had a parking spot included. The host was super responsive and the condo and amenities were in top notch condition. We made lots of new friends at the pool and bbqing. You also have a great view for watching the golfers who always appreciated the applause. We will plan to stay here again!!

Great location for access to snorkeling, grocery, restaurants, and sightseeing.Loved being on the ground floor, easy to load/unload gear from the car. Loved onsite parking. Beds were very comfortable, and we were able to fix a few of our meals in the kitchen. Nice shower and wonderful to have a washer/dryer.

Great condo, great location and an amazing ocean view.

This was our second time staying in the Kailua-Kona area and this condo was better than the first, and our first condo was pretty good! This condo ticks all the boxes. Wonderful, gorgeous ocean view. Great outdoor living space. TONS of kitchen supplies. TONS of beach equipment, and lots of great beach towels. We will definitely be booking this condo again. Kevin was an absolute gem. Communication with him was 100%.

Bel appartement, spacieux, confortable, et bien agencé, au calme, à l'écart de l'agitation. Centre commercial à proximité. Bonne communication avec le propriétaire qui est très arrangeant. Il faut savoir que le logement est situé sur un terrain de golf, donc pas de grasse matinée car vous serez réveillé dès 6h par la tondeuse. La propreté a besoin d'être améliorée d'ou une étoile en moins.

Place was in a great spot, beautiful views. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Everything that you need in a vacation in Hawaii (beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, towels and umbrella) Kevin is a great host and very responsive to any needs.

It was clean and well stocked. Master bed comfy. It even had snorkel gear & a yoga mat with weights. I had a broken foot and parking space just 60 ft from lanai door was special. Notes: no door from master bedroom to master bath-, (just know it); many steps into front entry first time entering. 2nd walkin shower great. Lovely view and super well appointed!! Would totally rent again.

Nice views and location

We had a very nice stay. Easy access to Kona waterfront shops and beaches. Located in a quite area with nice view of ocean sunsets. Property is in good condition with all the necessary appliances in addition to extra recreation items like snorkle, tennis, beach towels, foam boards, etc. We would recommend and rent this again.

Lost in Paradise

Awesome place with a great patio overlooking hole 17(?) of the Kona CC. The pool and hot was just a few steps away. We definitely used the beach chairs and the cooler but should have taken advantage of the snorkeling gear and other toys that were provided. Conveniently located next to a KTA (supermarket) and restaurants and shops. Kevin was very responsive to our questions and a great host. Mahalo!

3 Weeks in paradise

We spent 3 weeks at Kevin’s condo and found the unit was very well equipped with all the kitchen supplies necessary to prepare great meals. In addition, there was a closet full of toys from boogie boards to snorkel gear, chairs and beach towels. The king size bed was comfortable. The view is phenomenal, overlooking the 17th hole at Kona Country Club and out to the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommend this condo.

Quiet gem south of Kona

Overall a great spot to stay if you're into peace and quiet. The view from the lanai is great and its proximity to the pools/tennis courts and parking are a plus. The VRBO is well stocked with many recreational items you might need for a trip to the Big Island. Definitely at its maximum comfort limit for 4 adults given the bedrooms. Things to note: this is at the south end of Kona, so it takes a little bit of driving to get to the downtown area as well as the airport and any larger stores you know of from the mainland. There is no easy "walkable'" beach access. A few other important points: recall no central Air Conditioning. There is 1 small window unit in each of the 2 bedrooms and fans. Internet is provided, but no regular TV service. We came across several bugs/bug carcasses but this is to be expected. Hot water didn't quite last for 4 adults in a row, so plan ahead. The front door unlock mechanism is difficult to work at times - would recommend an upgrade to a digital unit (with both keypad and key). Finally, and a big issue for a tall guy with glasses who stays in the master bedroom - the bed has deadly sharp metal corners that project quite some ways from the comforter. Still to this day (1 month later) I have healing injuries from repeatedly running into the sharp corners - and not just during the dark! Also, watch your head for low spinning fans! Despite this - this VRBO still gets a 4.5/5 stars. Will stay here again if we come back to Kona!

The View!

Wonderful location with incredible view across the golf course to the ocean. Spacious and homey! Being on lower level walkout was ideal. It was so quiet too! Loved the art and all the orchids! Honestly it was just as listed and a great value!

Relaxing little spot

This location is close to the end of the property (so close to the pool). This is a well stocked place for all kitchen implements and feels more like a home than a rental. It’s paradise, so my only recommendation is to shower off at the hale before heading to the pool because of the local critters. Every morning, we were greeted by three little birds, which added to the charm of the place. Towels and items were well stocked as well as ice chests and snorkel gear. Would absolutely stay here again. Had friends staying two drive ways over and I absolutely loved this place by comparison.

Great Stay

Ah --- Kona!

The condo is a little worn, but the overall space and location are excellent. Everything is in working order and the condo owner is very responsive to questions and any concerns. Beautiful location!

Great home away from home

The accommodation is in a fantastic location to explore all of the Big Island and the view is lovely. The unit itself is a great size, has comfortable furniture (although the beds were overly firm for all of us), and has everything needed for making meals. The manager was easy to communicate with and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay!!

Well Stocked

The property was in a great location and very well stocked with cleaning supplies, toiletries etc. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and the breeze flows nicely through the main living area. The patio was great for sunrise, sunset and having relaxing meals. Would stay here again for sure.
