Excellent Property

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Kona. The property was clean and easy to get into and out of. View from the pool was great as well. There were no spices (Salt and Pepper) in the kitchen. We left some ;-)

Bug infestation in bed.

I’m ok with bugs, i get it, we’re in Hawaii. But there was a legit an ant infestation in my bed, and on my pillow and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We had to leave the property early because the bed was covered in raid spray. If you can, spend the extra couple bucks and go to Aston right next store. They have a full functioning kitchen and no bugs in your bed.

Amazing location with great management

Loved every day we spent here. Got to sit by the water most nights and enjoy morning work days to a beautiful sunrise. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Great spot to relax in Kona

Very easy check in and the unit was as described. Loved the pool and location. Would definitely stay here again.

KRV #106

A thoroughly enjoyable three weeks in Kona at KRV. We love this small complex, and #106 works well for us. It is not fancy, but has all the amenities we could want in a perfect location. Beach towels were not in the unit as described, but replaced immediately by Kona Coast Vacations. The kitchen is a bit dated, and the futon in the living room is well past its prime. The bathroom is very nice and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Kona’s Best Kept Secret!

We had a really great experience staying at the condo. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great bed! Wanted for nothing. Close to downtown Kona. I like the fact that this complex is under 20 condos. The condo managers were great!! So friendly and informative. We stayed there one week and would stay there again. Right against the shoreline,sunsets and whale watching at it best right outside your door. Highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good experience. Place was filled with all basic necessity. They did provide basic needs that one does not have to run out to store to get first day.

Decent but a few extras would have been nice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place had everything you needed and I did enjoy being very close to the ocean, you could hear the waves at night. The only thing I was not a fan of there was no toilet paper, air conditioner did not work (fans were there instead) after it said there would be air conditioning and you had to wash their towels in preparation for the next guests, and they only gave you one large towel and two face cloths. Therefore, some of the details were missed, which would have been nice to have at the time.

A small fan in the living room made it not very comfortable to stay in due to the humid and hot weather. The location is very nice and it is right on the ocean. Number 106 does not have an ocean view.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This one bedroom unit in a small condo-style complex made for an excellent start to our vacation. Although it doesn't really have an ocean view, you are a 10 second walk from seeing the ocean and it can be heard. The unit was clean, spacious, and was stocked with just about everything a traveler may need. It was great not having to purchase laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc as it was all included. Even beach towels and a cooler was available for our use. If you are wanting to be within walking distance of the downtown area this location is too far south for that. But we were quite happy with it as being a little out of town made for a quieter stay. Also, it's a very short (few minutes) drive into town. The only complaint was that using the hair dryer continually tripped a circuit breaker. Resetting was easy as the electrical box is conveniently located within the unit. I'd highly recommend this unit for a couple looking for a convenient location from which to base their vacation.

KRV #106 vacation 2015

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: KRV is the ideal location for us. Complex is perfect size, great location, and priced right. We especially liked unit #106 with the additional light from the side windows. We love the semi-permanent nature of the other guests, and seeing familiar faces when we return each year.

We enjoyed being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore and waking us to the sound of birds singing. The bed was very comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. A little worn around the edges and the bathroom window took a little getting used to. The regular tenants were friendly and we felt at home.

It was clean and quiet. The one thing that I noticed that could be improved is that there were lots of knives around and not a single sharp one. So much fresh fruit… so hard to cut!
