Lanai is amazing. Bedroom very nice; you can hear and see the ocean as you fall asleep. Rest of condo could use some cosmetic maintenance: fresh paint, new varnish on the bathroom and kitchen cabinetry. The living room sofa and chairs are in desperate need of cleaning. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking basic meals.

Super location
Loved the view from our balcony The best tide pools, we saw turtles, eels, crabs, giant puffer fish, and enormous waves. Kids surfing all day long. Live the sound of the waves crashing

Wow. What a beautiful, serene escape. It is an older property that could use a few upgrades, but I think that’s part of its charm. Nothing could ever beat falling asleep to sounds of the waves crashing right outside your lanai. I’ve already recommended this place to a few people and would 100% return.

The bedroom overlooking the ocean was amazing. The view and the sound of the waves was very soothing. Our host was very kind and quickly resolved an issue with the television. Overall, I would return again. It would be nice if the microwave were replaced and some of the decor is in need of repair. I enjoyed the tidal pools in front of the condo but the weather wasn’t great for sunbathing.

This property has THE BEST VIEW! We've stayed in multiple places around Kona and although this is an older property, it is clean, well stocked, well located, and very comfortable. The bedroom opens onto the lanai allowing you to open the sliding doors and listen to the ocean all night, and the view during the day couldn't be better. You can sit and watch the waves and the surfers just like you're sitting on the beach. There is no air conditioning, but if you open all the doors and turn on the fans you can get a nice breeze through the condo. The parking garage right now can only be accessed through the "exit" sure to construction which resulted in several uncomfortable games of chicken with cats leaving the garage, but that appears to be temporary. Overall, this is a lovely place to stay and we miss it already.

Fantastic location and spectacular view!
The condo is a little dated, as accurately shown in the listing pictures, but hey you’re in Hawaii! Go outside. The view is gorgeous. We saw a couple whales from the lanai, and slept to the sound of waves just 30-40 feet from the lanai. Arllen was very responsive to our questions. The location is conveniently near lots of things within a few miles in either direction. I can’t speak to the pool or hot tub as we didn’t use them. But, both looked well maintained and clean.

Beautiful views
Overall the property was as stated and a little dated however it was well equipped with all the essentials and more. The views from the lanai were unobstructed and beautiful to watch the sunsets. The location was convenient - there is a bus stop located right outside the complex if you wanted to head down to the main Ali’i’ drive for shopping and restaurants to avoid the high parking fees since the bus is free. Although the bus wasn’t always on time so plan to go out earlier to wait for it. The pool was great - wasn’t busy whenever we went to use it.
Overall a great space and would choose again.

There are so many great things about this Condo..mostly you CANNOT beat the location for the price. You are ocean FRONT! Sitting on the lanai itself is a vacation, watching waves, sunsets and surfers is so relaxing. Yes the place could use some TLC but honestly didn't care. There are somethings that are just going to age due to not having A/C it is what it is. Musty smell, no prob open up the doors. We had everything we needed. Bed comfortable/clean.Washer/dryer. Plenty of towels/linens. Having 2 bathrooms was great even with only two of us. Appreciated cold filtered water in the frig/ice trays. Quiet/private. Quick response from property mngt. Went for walks along Alii drive every morning. Minutes from restaurants. Easy access to roads leading to tourist activities. Parking easy. Trip suggestion...order groceries ahead for pick-up at Wal-mart or Safeway and pick them up after your flight on the way to the condo and don't miss the Botanical gardens in Hilo and grab a burger at Hilo Burger Joint afterward! Would def stay again.
