The condo has a beautiful relaxing balcony and a lot of good quality beach accessories that we were able to use. We had to contact the owner and she responded immediately and was very kind. Will definitely come back and stay here.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at White Sands. The condo was very well appointed with everything we needed. We like to eat in so having a well equipped kitchen was a bonus. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fans in each room. The weather was perfect to keep the sliders opened each night to listen to the sounds of the ocean across the street. All our meals were on the balcony.The bonus of a great washer and dryer meant all clean clothes. It's impossible to describe how beautiful the sunsets were each night. It was very very hard to pull the door shut on the last day. Thanks Joanne for being such a great host. Mahalo

This rental was amazing - fantastic access to the beach, a nice pool and barbeque area, and a well equipped condo with an awesome lanai with pool and beach views. Everything was in great working order and clean in the apartment. Having a Chromecast and Google speaker was a great touch! There were lots of great condition beach items that we enjoyed (boogie boards, beach chairs, etc). The location was also great, with quick access to town and great snorkeling. A perfect stay for a family with tweens.

Joanne responded so promptly to all my questions, her instructions were so clear, they had such great information about things to do, and the place was amazing. My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks this summer. First, we had an amazing time! The condo is large, well maintained, clean, stocked with plenty of beach and pooand the location and view are incredible! Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the lanai with a beautiful ocean view! Doesn't get much better!Joanne, the owner is also great!. She is very easy to communicate with, and very understanding and accomodating. I would highly recommend staying in this unit when visiting Kailua Kona, and will definitely be coming back!

The condo was perfect for our week and a half stay! Right across from Magic Sands Beach. The condo had beach chairs, an umbrella, and some toys that were perfect for our stay. Joanne was very helpful with any questions I had for our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Ideal spot

We arrived to a spotlessly clean condo with all the conveniences of home. We love the large lanai which is perfect for watching the ocean waves or the beautiful sunsets. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was appreciated - comfy beach chairs, coolers, even snorkel gear. We have stayed in this condo twice and we are planning to return again. Thank you for letting me purchase a new coffee pot and refunding me.

Perfect lanai to start and end the day!

This rental was perfect for our family of four. 3rd floor unit offers excellent views of both the pool area and beach/ocean. Spacious, well laid out and well-appointed with everything you need from making meals to going to the beach. Joanne went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. Good showers and beds. 4 miles south of Kona and easy access to highway bypassing Kona for those days you go off exploring. If you're an early riser, there are dedicated walking/ biking lanes on both sides of Ali'i drive with plenty of other beaches and shoreline accesses within walking distance to discover. Definitely recommend!

First time to Big Island

Our first time to the Big Island was memorable! The location of the condo is just perfect, not too far but far enough from the "touristy' side of this island! We liked that our door was close to the elevator to make unloading easier. It was great to have a beach across the street and a pool in the middle of the property. The condo was well stocked and having a washer and dryer was super helpful! We also appreciated the new walk-in shower! We look forward to booking at this location in the future!

Great property in the heart of beachy Kailua-Kona

This was a very comfortable home base for my family of 4. It was great to be right across the street from the beach and a short drive to lots of touristy activities. The host was very communicative to make sure we were ready to have a wonderful visit. We were happy to use their beach supplies and the laundry facilities. I hope we get to return!

Fantastic condo

The condo was roomy and in a great location, had a beautiful view, and was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The pool and BBQ area downstairs was clean, well equipped, and never crowded. Magic Sands beach, just a few steps away, was beautiful! The construction of new facilities there had just been completed. This beach does have some big waves at times so requires some ocean savyness, but the lifeguards that are on duty all day do a great job of watching everyone and reminding everyone to stay safe. Also just steps away is an oceanside restaurant, a fantastic shave ice truck and the bus stop for the Kona Trolley. So convenient! You literally do not need to leave. I was surprised that although the condo was close enough to Ali'i drive to potentially hear road noise at night, there was virtually none. We heard only the ocean! If I had one complaint it would be for the master bedroom mattress. It could use updating—it is not uncomfortable, just extremely jiggly, which made for some unnecessary bickering at various points in the night when one or another bed occupant moved ever so slightly. However, by the end of the trip we had become accustomed. Overall, the condo was absolutely fantastic!
