The view off of the balcony is amazing and it was fun to watch the surfers. They had a competition while we were there and used a blow horn frequently.
This unit needs some attention, it is very used and dated. First of all this unit has NO air conditioning. I missed that somehow. The west sun pounds into the Master and bathroom (which has no window covering- it is a louvered window with 1/2 of them not able to adjust They have obscure covering, but it doesn't help with sun ). You need to have the windows open all the time, and the ocean breaking is quite loud (which we didn't mind). The bedrooms all had ceiling fans and box fans, which we used non-stop.
The master bath has a lot of corrosion on handles and faucet. The window framing in the shower/toilet room has had a lot of water damage, and it looks like they caulked it up and painted over it. The master sliding door is hard to close, and if you do it won't open again without practically lifing the whole door up. (My husband had to yank it open)
Kitchen sink is very stained and gross. They gave us soap, a new sponge, hand soap and dishwashing tabs and few garbage bags. There was plastic wrap, and little foil in drawers. There are NO left spices or items (like olive oil) from previous renters. Not even salt & pepper. Refrigerator does have ice maker that kept up pretty well. Unmarked key on counter is for the unheated pool - it's cold!
I would not stay in that unit again.
