Excellent stay and host , the weather delayed us a day , they let us push our check out a extra day, That made our trip! Very clean unit , and the view from the balcony was amazing , sound of waves crashing on the shore .

Everything about our stay was very, very nice! We had everything that one could have wanted for our week. It was comfortable, welcoming, plenty of room space, and truly showcased the ‘Aloha Spirit’ of Hawaii. Amenities went above and beyond our needs. Our hosts were phenomenal always right on the spot with communications of any questions we had during our stay. The location was perfect for restaurants and shopping. The view from our lanai was spectacular. We would stay there again and again for any future trips to Hawaii!

Casa Kona was perfect for our Big Island stay in every way. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, great kitchen, beautiful view and nice amenities at the complex. Brent was communicative and helpful. We felt safe and cared for and welcome. We'd recommend this place for any stay and hope to return.

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo itself was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had many helpful items already stocked, from coffee filters to spices. We appreciated the gift basket too - by far the best after having stayed in four other rental properties in Kona previously. The view was better than expected and with a very large lani we found ourselves outside daily. The complex amenities were also unbeatable - the oceanside pool and bbq grills. The air conditioner was perfect too, and if needed, there were fans in the closet.

We really liked the view, the cleanliness, the welcome package and ease of getting in and out. We were close to restaurants and lots of different beaches on either side. Brent left a fish guide so that we could identify the fish and eels that we saw after snorkeling. We came on a shoulder season but we were very impressed with how quiet it was and we were on a middle floor. It was just right for us!

Complex and unit itself was older. There was gated parking which was good. Other parking was available. Nice to be on second floor & close to ocean (distance from elevator had 8 steps/16 stairs from another direction) Very nice ocean view from lanai which was very comfortable. Complex had small beach and 2 pools. Grill area was nicely landscaped. Check in worked fine. Appreciated welcome basket with coffee, cookies and candy. Nice to have air conditioning although temperature needed to stay at 75. Additional fans appreciated. Notebook provided had good information. Lots of instructions and additional notes for many things throughout unit. Succinct few pages on counter would be good like ones sent. Bathrooms updated but rest of rooms were dated particularly kitchen. Very basic kitchen alliances and items. Dishwasher did not fully dry dishes and limited dishtowels provided. Nice to have Brita water purifier. Internet was not consistent. Unable to use TV in second bedroom at all during stay. Would have been nice to have luggage racks for suitcases. Did have some coins to use for laundry. App was not easy and had to spend 20 to do 2 loads of laundry. Bedroom lighting dim. Good size dining room & Living room. Enjoyed hearing waves at night since we were so close to ocean.

Fantastic Stay. Everything about the condo & location was great. Condo itself was very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. Incredible deck with great view of the ocean. Property was beautiful with lots of gardens. AC worked great. Brent was incredible and gracious to work with...very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable and inviting had been thought of and was available. The home clean and welcoming. Thank you for the generous “care Package” with its delicious coffee, macadamia nuts and treats. We especially loved the bottled water and the Brita water filter which allowed us to make delicious coffee. Other guests were quiet and respectful in the public spaces. Loved the Blowing of the Conch as the sunset. Mahalo for sharing your home with us.

Fantastic Stay

We had an amazing stay at Casa Kona! The property is beautifully maintained, and the condo was a perfect fit for our family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the upgraded bathrooms were a fantastic touch - modern and spotless. We especially loved spending our evenings on the lanai, relaxing with a glass of wine while taking in the stunning ocean view. The location is ideal - within walking distance to the local market and a nearby resort with a great restaurant and bar. The oceanfront pool was warm and very enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome stay

This place was everything advertised and then some. Every part of the stay was ideal. The welcome basket was a real treat and every amenity that we could think of was at our disposal. Understated is the beauty of the of the sea life found in the ocean just outside the door. It fealt like our own private aquarium. We would certainly stay here again. Brent was more than responsive to our questions (sorry for bugging you) as well.

Charming Renovated 1960’s Condo Unit Meets Melrose Place

What a find! The location of this condominium is superb. Within a short drive into Kona, coffee plantations, & southern beaches. The condominium grounds were well maintained with beautiful trees & shrubs. This is a gated small condominium unit that we assumed was built around the 60’s, which lends itself to a charm that you cannot find. And with a renovated unit, it’s the best of the old & new. At night, the place comes alive and residents congregate around the saltwater pool & gazebo & await a resident to blow the conch shell as the sunsets. Our kids awaited this every night. The permanent residents & guests were all extremely nice. The saltwater pool was larger than depicted in the photos and well maintained. We would stay here again simply for the beautiful views from the lanai and the many seating options. The condo is well maintained & clean. The kitchen is well stocked with smaller appliances & condiments. We found the large kitchen appliances to be a bit dated with the oven and stovetop tricky to operate. Completely not a big deal when compared to all of the strengths this listing has to offer. We would stay here again & have been recommending this listing to our friends interested in visiting The Big Island.

Amazing Coastal Location!

Our family loved our visit to the Big Island, staying at this amazing Casa Kona condo unit. Everything was as described, and it was even better than we could have imagined. The spacious deck overlooked the courtyard, and though it was not right on the ocean, was very close and you still had an amazing view of the water. It certainly provided a great place to enjoy your morning coffee as well as your sunset dinner. The saltwater pool near the ocean was perfect to cool off in, and there were plenty of places to sit in the courtyard and sand area under the palm trees at the front of the property. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils making preparing meals a breeze. The welcome basket filled with treats was a special surprise after a long day of travel. While we didn't take advantage of it, there were beach chairs, some snorkeling equipment, a boogie board and beach umbrella available to use. We definitely would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a two-bedroom unit.

Wonderful stay at Casa Kona

We stayed for two weeks at Casa Kona. The owners were very quick in responding to our questions as well as friendly and hospitable. They have supplied this condo with everything you could possibly need and welcomed us with a goody basket when we checked in. The saltwater pool was very refreshing and there are beach chairs where we relaxed under The palm trees. We would stay here again if we return to the big island!

Perfect

The best equipped, best maintained condo, with good proximity to town. The kitchen lacks for nothing and it's immaculately clean. The TVs are high definition good quality with about a zillion channels. The need is comfortable as well, and there's closet and dessert space. All and all, a pleasure.

Beautiful condo inside and out

We loved the interior of this condo. It was very thoughtful, had everything we needed, and was tastefully decorated. The lanai is spacious and was so enjoyable to sit and watch the water. Amazing view! The host was so friendly and easy to get a hold of. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Cousin reunion at the Casa

#236 was a perfect condo for me and my cousins. I’ve been coming to the Casa since it was built in the late 60’s, they had never been. I was so pleased to see how well the Casa has been maintained. And, #236 has been updated perfectly! My only complaint was construction work was going on in one of the units above us. Too much noise going on to enjoy the quiet of Kona!
