This house was PERFECT for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for us and our adult kids. It is nice that each room has its own bathroom. The house was clean and well stocked with small appliances (electric griddle, rice cooker, etc.). There were plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. The air conditioners in each room kept the house nice and cool when we were there. The views are AMAZING. It takes a night or two to get used to how loud the waves are at night, but that is why you stay by the ocean...to hear the waves! The pool was clean and nice with a fantastic view of the ocean. There were beach towels, chairs and pool toys available for us to use. I wouldn't change anything about this house!

We loved #7, this Kailua-Kona house which is part of a set of 12 sharing a pool and oceanfront. Our lanai/double balconies were alongside the pool and had great views of the coast and snorkeling cove. It has three nice sized BRs and a bathroom for each BR. It’s spacious and has wonderful ocean views from many windows and rooms. Very relaxing. We loved easy walking access to snorkeling. My main recommendation is to send the check-in messages with front gate and front door codes earlier and directly in the messages. By the time I tried to retrieve them, we were flying and then driving and didn’t have WiFi or connectivity. I could not access separate webpages or links. I needed the house WiFi once we got there but I didn’t have that access since it was in the messages I was trying to retrieve! Check-in was more awkward than it needed to be. I find three levels of rental (VRBO, rental agency, and owner) cumbersome. It’s best if VRBO messages or text can contain all guest information rather than adding links and web pages, because traveling guests don’t always have connectivity to access the information we need. Thank you.

Great, quiet location for our few days in Kona. The home is beautiful and well-stocked. Communication with the house managers was easy, and directions for coming/going were very straightforward. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful and convenient unit and location! Will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to return to Kona. Fit our adult family of 6 perfectly. Would also if we had younger kids as well. Keep in mind no kids 13 and under in the hot tub. Trude was available for all questions in a timely manner. Unit well appointed with fun and necessities.

Absolutely the best location possible, short walk, or snorkle, over to Magic Sands beach where you can play in the waves all day. There is a coffee shop and restaurant nearby.The house itself is front and center to the ocean, with stunning views of the sunset, spinner dolphins and access to tide pools, our kiddos loved chasing crabs and spotting eels. The pool & hot tub are a great down time activity. Easy parking, gorgeous landscaping and plentiful amenities including a thoughtful starter bag of coffee, paper towels, they even had a beach volleyball and extra towels and beach chairs. The neighbors were welcoming and kind with tips to share.We absolutely loved our stay and recommend this town house very highly.

Property was clean and well equipped. Great location. Easy parking. Great ocean view. Portable 110 volt air conditioners in the bedrooms were not adequate for comfortable sleeping. The swimming pool and seating was closed for most of our stay for water change.

This property is absolutely perfect! Great location, great accommodations and the kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms can get warm even with the AC units, but we knew that getting into it. The owners were very responsive to a few small issues we had and were very kind. Book this place, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting and views!

Beautiful home and outdoor area, overlooking the pool and the ocean. We loved waking up in the morning and enjoying the views over coffee, and the kids loved easy access to the pool. There is a gorgeous, fully stocked kitchen, and the location is a close drive to Kona shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Breathtaking views from the Lanai and well equipped kitchen

Prepare for breathtaking views from the Lanai (back covered porch) the reason for four Stars in Location was because there are no hiking trails and grocery stores near the property without a vehicle. Large grocery store chains are about 10-20 minutes drive. The pool is amazing, heated Jacuzzi is a total wow. BBQ grill, and French press as well as regular coffee maker. Inconsiderate maintenance

The home was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately we saw issues with the maintenance staff. They persisted in parking in our assigned shaded spot leaning us to park in the sun everyday. They painted all the parking spots while we were here blocking us out and they parked in our spot even before and after painting. The pool maintenance people had not checked the hot tub water level for at least 2 days and it gurggled and sputtered for those first 2 days. We are leaving today and is is low on water again. park

Loving Kona

House was perfect and the kitchen was stocked the best I have ever seen in a VRBO. The host was kind enough to supply a starter coffee set, trash backs, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent. The only thing I forgot to ask was did the unit have a/c. Many properties in Kona do not. The unit does not have central air conditioning, but the upstairs bedrooms have stand alone units. For me it was not enough in the hot part of the day but my friend staying downstairs was just fine. It all depends on your preference. The pool was amazing and I can't say enough good things about the host. I would definitely return.

Great Property

The house was amazing! Great location, beautiful home, well stocked kitchen, lots of pool and beach supplies, helpful property management staff! The only negative is the lack of central air conditioning. As advertised, the bedrooms had air conditioners. The fans and breeze from the windows were helpful, but we were uncomfortable much of the time.

Beautiful and great pool. Would not recommend staying in august or hottest months. Only master bedroom had an external standing air conditioner. Not comfortable temperature in that room. The rest of the place had no air conditioning. Impossible to sleep.

Delightful !

Beautiful unit, very spacious and comfortable.Quiet and good separation between bedrooms which was great with small kids. Kitchen was so well appointed; fridge was huge, and it was so pleasant to be in the kitchen looking out at the waves crashing on the rocks just outside. The beach closet was well stocked with snorkel sets, boogie boards, noodles, etc. Our kids were so happy ! Beautiful views from the lanai- perfect for relaxed evenings. Highly recommend this beautiful spot !
