"Hale Maluhia" - Cottage with expansive ocean views in central Kailua Kona.

  • Disfrute de este un dormitorio, 1 1/2 baño bellamente detallada casa de campo con una cama king size, cocina completa, televisión con cable, internet inalámbrico, lavandería, armario y gran terraza cubierta.

    El lanai grande (cubierta cubierta) tiene 2 áreas de estar al aire libre, incluida la mesa de comedor para 6 personas. Las brisas frescas de la noche lo convierten en el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una puesta de sol con vista al mar.

    Esta cabaña fue construida al lado de nosotros para que mi madre la visite varias veces al año. Los detalles son exquisitos; desde los mostradores y estantes de Koa hasta las antiguas puertas indonesias y obras de arte de artistas locales. ¡Experimentarás Hawaii en su belleza!

    La cabaña tiene unas vistas preciosas del valle de abajo hasta el océano. Está rodeado de exuberante vegetación y está a solo unos minutos de la ciudad de Kailua Kona o del histórico Holualoa.

This was the perfect Hale for our Hawaiian getaway! Our hosts were so welcoming and made sure the place was well stocked for us. Kitchen had everything we needed and they even included beach gear and fresh fruit from their property. Highly recommend! 1000 out of 10.

The stay was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Super private! A nice quiet getaway packed with paradise views and only a 10 minutes from downtown Kona.The place was a great size for two people. Cute cottage that has the feel of a loft. It’s light and airy with lovely views and nice outdoor seating. I always love when we are on an island and the host has beach chairs to take to the beach! Thank you for the amenities, treats and coffee…and the use of your lovely cottage. Mahalo!!

Wonderful stay at such a beautiful property that had everything needed for a perfect visit to Kona and Big Island. The location is great for exploring the Big Island and views are amazing. From the minute we arrived at this charming, well-kept cottage, we knew we had lucked out. The view is stunning—and my husband and I spent some of the happiest hours of our trip sitting on the deck, sipping Kona coffee (thank you, Esther!), and listening to birdsong.

Kona Mountain side retreat

Great place to stay on the Big Island

My wife and I loved this place. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is easily accessible in the hills just above Kona with a beautiful view from the lanai. Very homey and just the right size for two people. If we someday return to the Big Island this is where we would stay.

Fantastic stay!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! The view was spectacular and the back deck was perfect for meals, working or just relaxing. It was great to stay in a neighborhood a little bit away from the main resorts and hotels. Owner was very kind to let us check in early due to a flight change too. We would definitely return!

A sanctuary to retreat to after a day exploring

Fabulous location so peaceful with elevated views and all the comforts of home. We felt so relaxed coming back after each day of exploring the big island to pour a drink and relax on the lanai cook on the bbq and sleep so soundly with the doors open. All the extras provided such as beach chairs snorkelling gear beach towels sunblock were so very much appreciated, we would highly recommend this wee gem as your stay on the big island..Mahalo

Perfect location

This house is perfect for one or two people. Great views from the lanai. We love being a little up on the mountain where it is a little cooler and you get such beautiful views. It does not take long to be at the beach, stores or restaurants. The house was really clean and Esther was the perfect host. Great place for a Kona get away.
