tropical paradise

great location on the water, many hours on the deck, meals, martini's watching sunsets. have stayed multiple times, always a great home at a great price.

Loved our stay!!

Place was perfect for my husband and I…owner was great to work with and provided everything we needed plus more….if you have a small family this may work for you but two couples this place might not work for you…only one bathroom which is downstairs and no dishwasher but we still loved the place. Are going back for the next several years if we can….

Stunning and perfectly cozy

the perfect house. our favorite part was the covered porch and great view. you can sit out and enjoy breezes without getting fried by the sun. cool and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated and well kept up. Lovely finishes. The upstairs can get toasty at night as others have said - but thats the price of paradise. Carla is a joy to work with - very kind and accommodating and responsive. Thank you for the use of your home

Absolutely Loved It!

My wife and I stayed for 31 nights and we couldn’t have been happier. Such an incredible location, right on the water and only a 5 minute walk from the main strip. Such a cozy ocean front cottage with everything you could need, including strong WIFI! This was very important to us since we work from home, so being able to have Zoom calls from the Lanai was fantastic! Carla was excellent to deal with anytime we needed anything, always being available. We would definitely recommend staying here and will most certainly come back again ourselves.

Nice Stay

The good - Carla (property manager) was extremely helpful and very responsive. We were able to check in early which helped us get things in the fridge from one rental to the next. Good luck getting any closer to the ocean. It's 20' (at best) from the back porch. Whales, dolphins, and surfers right out your back door. To note: No AC - which isn't too bad, with all the fans running at night. The ocean is LOUD at night with all windows open. TV is tiny (but we weren't there to watch TV). The upstairs (bedroom areas) aren't separate rooms - but are separated by a half-wall of sorts.

On the Beach

The best thing about cottage is its location right on the beach. It makes it a great deal considering the price. It is pretty hot in the summer, and the fans aren't really a substitute for AC. However, for the price I could entertain relatives that were in town and we had a great time.

Wonderfully charming house. Great views and location. We didn’t have 0 problems at house.

We would for sure come back to this wonderful little house. Works great as a base. Everything was tip-top inside. Good value for price. Best recommendations!

Great location. Would give 5 stars if there was AC...

The location is wonderful. Walking distance to town and amenities but still feels private. The view of the ocean from the lanai is amazing. The biggest downfall was the 85 and 90 degree days and no AC- it was miserably hot inside. There are fans which when running drown out sounds of the ocean, which was kind of a bummer too. We would totally stay there again if there was AC.

Beautiful lanai view of surfers and sunsets!

This is our second time staying here. We love the location! The house is perfect for a family of four. Perfect walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Popular running trail right out the front door. The lanai is perfect for watching sunsets and surfers! Private, off-road, gated parking was nice. A few beach accessories available for use! Carla answered me back very quickly when I texted her. It does get a little hot in the loft in the evenings, but there are many fans in the house that help to cool it down.

Great Location, great view

The house is located in a great spot only steps away from all of the restaurants, shops, and a great little beach. Very easy commute to the entire island from Kona as well. Great place, great vacation.

Quaint, quiet little home. Well outfitted in the kitchen, wonderful views, great feel. It was the perfect spot for rest and relaxation, and as a weigh point for all our excursions on the island. We traveled every major hiway on the island and many, many others, always ending up back here to rest. Carla was very attentive to the small issues that came up, and everything went smoothly. Even on our rest day, doing “nothing” all day, was a great day. We watched a cruise ship anchor in the bay, snorkelers, divers, and surfers.

Perfect Cottage and Location

The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything we needed upon arrival. Carla was at the property when we arrived working on an adjacent property so we had the opportunity to meet in person. The lanai was so nice that we spent a lot of time watching the dolphins, fish, turtles and sunset. My husband actually slept on it as he wanted to hear the ocean while sleeping. The ocean sound was also heard in the bedrooms. The walk to Kona was only a few minutes and we did this each day during our stay, but as soon as we arrived back at the cottage, we were outside. The wall that separated the cottage and ocean was a great place to find some sea shells! There is a television available as well as WIFI. We did not use the tv as the lanai provided our entertainment. We would definitely book the cottage again!

Beautiful views and prime location

We absolute loved this cottage! It was great to have the beach next door and every night we would enjoy cocktails on the porch watching local surfers and the sunset. It was nice to be walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. At first we were nervous about no AC but it was not a problem at all, in fact I liked it more without it because the fans and cross breeze kept the place cool and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cottage and stay there again if I'm lucky enough to return to Kona.

So lovely!

We loved our Kona home away from home! Stayed for 8 days - 2 adults and 2 kids. Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the ocean outside. We spent loads of time appreciating life in the porch. No complaints. Mahalo

A fabulous spot on the Ocean

Loved it here... you’re right in the ocean! The lanai is perfect for outdoor living and entertaining. It’s equiped with everything you might need for a trip to the island. We especially liked watching the surfers on the break adjacent to the beach house, they were surfing 6am to 6pm each day!

Gorgeous and perfect!!

My family loved our stay at this cottage! It was a perfect space for two kids and two adults. A nicely-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare most meals at home and we were in walking distance of the fun restaurants when we wanted to eat out. We traveled to every part of the island from the cottage - it was an ideal base location. Honestly though, I would have been happy to have spent more time just sitting on the lanai - loving the ocean!

Lovely ocean front home

This home was wonderful to stay in and offered everything we needed while vacationing. The location was top notch and we enjoyed drinking coffee on the lanai while watching surfers each morning. The views were spectacular and we were lucky enough to see dolphins spinning and jumping as well as turtles, beautiful birds and tropical fish. The coastline is rocky and not the best for swimming or snorkeling although there are plenty of spots to dip your feet as well as a sandy beach next door. The interior of the home is well appointed and comfortable. Being close to all the shops and restaurants was ideal and can make for a nice walk without the need to drive. Carla was a wonderful and caring host and even followed up after our stay to see how our time was. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to no air conditioning. However, there are plenty of fans that work well to cool down the house. During the day it can become warm inside (we didn't find this as an issue since we spent our days outside). The fans do a great job cooling everything down by evening allowing for a comfortable sleep. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend others do as well.

Views views views!

The view was 5 star spectacular, with the spoils and surfing 10 steps away. We spent more time on the lanai than inside the house! There is no air conditioning but opening all windows and using fans kept the place just fine. Bring ear plugs if a bit of road noise will bother u at night. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils we needed, plenty of towels, snorkel and boogie boards. Great location. Restaurants writhing .5 mile and 20 mins from airport. Would definitely book again!
