Wow wow wow! We are so happy this condo was available. We loved sitting on the lanai, spotting whales and dolphins, relaxing while listening to and watching the waves, also watching the birds, board surfers, boats, & glorious sunsets. A bonus of being right next to the ocean is that we didn’t hear any road traffic; also the condo is on the top floor, so you won’t hear anyone walking overhead. The condo is really well stocked and everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable (with quiet sheets, no rustling noises!). It was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops and street market. The owners have a really good info binder with info about the beaches in the area, grocery stores, etc., that we utilized & appreciated. The owners were a pleasure to communicate with - very prompt and helpful. In short, everything was wonderful and we did not want to leave! We highly recommend this home stay.

The view from the deck is amazing! We had a great time just watching the waves and surfers. The kitchen is very well stocked. This place is perfect for a couple. It is nothing fancy, but has everything you need. Only thing I suggest bringing yourself is a pair of binoculars, the ones at the house are not good.

This property was perfect for our stay in Kona. Location, location, location! The views from the lanai are amazing. From watching surfers in the morning, to cruise ships in the afternoon, and finally having front row seats for spectacular sunsets. Honl's Beach is right out the door and the Kona restaurant district (near the pier) is just a short walk from the condo. Check-in and check-out were very easy and communication with the property manager was met with a quick response. This property is truly a 10 out of 10!

The room was clean and very well appointed. Lots of extras such as spices, toiletries, sunscreen etc. so nice to be within feet of the ocean and to be able to hear it even with the doors closed. Lovely!!

Anniversary getaway

We loved our vacation! This condo has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the most amazing ocean view from the private lanai. Parking is included! Ailin is an amazing host - 5 stars!! The location is optimal with a beautiful beech next door, and an easy walk into town to restaurants. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect stay

We enjoyed our 10 days - the condo was well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space to unpack, store things and spread out to enjoy the fantastic sunset view. Walkable to shops and restaurants, but away from the masses so all quiet and relaxing. You will not be disappointed if you book this!

Love Kona Reef!

We love to stay oceanfront at Kona Reef! The host was so welcoming and the condo so comfortable. We love to walk so the proximity to restaurants, etc is great, and we love to hang out at the beach next to Kona Reef. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Kona Stay

Love this condo!

We highly recommend this wonderful condo! The location was absolutely ideal—close to everything, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The condo itself is great. Comfortable bed and furniture. Great lanai. Incredible view! Lots of boogie boarders and surfers to watch. Wonderful to have a parking place included. Great owners. Air conditioning was very cool and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful

Everything was truly wonderful. Sitting on the lanai right by the ocean each morning having coffee and each evening watching the sunset was a delight. Great to be able to walk to several good restaurants. From beach chairs to portable umbrellas and boogie boards, everything one might possibly want or need was provided.

Amazing ocean views and beautiful sunsets

This place was amazing! Short walk to downtown to all the eateries. We enjoyed watching sunsets off the balcony every day! Also so much fun watching the local boogie boarders! Close beach next door. The place had everything we needed! Perfect getaway with my husband! Can't wait to come again!

Great condo with amazing view

Overall, our stay was great. All appliances worked and the condo was very clean. View from balcony is amazing and hearing the ocean all night was really special. Only minor complaint was that the bed could be updated.

A great spot in Kona

This rental was all we had hoped for and then some. It's a great location right on the water with perfect sunset views. We couldn't have asked for more. It's obvious that Ailin has been doing this for a while! We had a couple of minor issues and they were addressed immediately. The A/C was an added bonus.

Pure Paradise

This condo is a wonderful place to stay, look no further!! The view is to die for and listening to the waves was just music to our ears. We also really enjoyed watching all the boogie boarders and surfers right from the lanai. The place was well stocked and was clean. The air conditioning works great and was so nice. We really loved being able to walk into the heart of Kona for meals/shopping. We would for sure stay here again.

View to die for

Apartment could not improve on the view but came a close second. Everything you could possibly imagine needing was provided. Key code did not work on arrival but Ailin was on it in a flash and sorted it out We had no car but all the restaurants were easily walkable. I even walked to Target one day.

Fabulous Sunsets

The sunsets from the porch were amazing! You have the perfect view. This condo is in a great location to see the sights on the big island. Perfectly located to downtown Kona. The condo has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Allin has thought of it all. The condo also has coolers you can use for beach days or to pack lunch. We loved it here. We will stay here again!

We Loved It

Stayed here 6 days/5 nights to celebrate our 35th anniversary. This was our first time on the Big Island and we booked this oceanfront condo in Kailua-Kona 6+ months in advance, based on the online pix and description of the property. We had high expectations and -- surprisingly-- this unit exceeeded those expectations. Its a miracle that we even left this condo to explore the island -- the panoramic view of the ocean, palm trees, surfers, and spectacular sunsets was mesmerizing -- and the hosts' attention to detail and thoughtful how-to, where-to notes could not have been better. We loved it.

Direct oceanfront, incredible views. We love watching the fish and occasionally a sea turtle from our lanai. Clean and well-air-conditioned interior. Well supplied kitchen and the coffee and treats are a nice touch. Great location just far enough from historic city center to be quiet but close enough to walk. Our favorite in Kona!
