My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and great for multiple people to spread out. We loved the close vicinity to everything in Kona and especially loved that the beach was directly across the street…as we surfed and fished daily during our stay. Mahalo Amber!

Spacious and well appointed

Loved the various spaces for 6 adults (3 in our 60s and 3 in mid-20s/early 30s) to spread out, especially the lanais. Location great for snorkeling and SeaQuest excursions. Really enjoyed our stay.

2025 Kona Vacation

This property was spacious with lots of open deck area on the middle and upper area. It was an easy and short walk to the water for surfing and snorkeling for us. The lower level pullout sleeper couch was OK but awkward and not overly comfortable. Middle level and upper lever sleeping and living areas were great.

Wonderful house

We had an incredible time. The house is beautiful and in an excellent location. We appreciated the attention to the details, the colorful house decor, even quality soap in every bathroom. The sound of the birds in the morning. The decking overlooking the ocean. Thank you Amber for letting us rent your house. We had incredible dinners watching the sunsets and coffee in the morning listening to the waves. I hope you let us rent it again!

Christmas vacay

Our family loved this property! There was so much space and it was very private. My boys loved sleeping out on the wrap around lanais. There was plenty of parking space. The house was so well supplied with towels, bedding, pillows, and beach equipment. Check- in was awesome. Our group would definitely stay there again when we come back!

Family vacation

We had an amazing stay. The kitchen was well supplied and the house was organized and clean. The beds were spread throughout the floors, which worked well for us with multiple kids. We appreciated the extra details like the games, beach chairs, boogie board, and binoculars we could borrow. The snorkeling at Kahalu'u Bay across the street was the best of our vacation and perfect for our wide range of ages. Would love to come back again.

Beautiful Stay

Everything was perfect! Loved all the different spaces. Plenty of towels for the week. It had everything we needed. We especially loved trying out the surf boards. One thing to note is the VRBO listing states AC is available when in reality there is only a window unit in the lower level studio. The rest of the house is fans and open air with no AC. That being said we never really got too hot. Only when we were loading and unloading our stuff.

Best Property for family group

This is a terrific property, especially for a family group of adults, or a group of friends. It was very clean, beautifully redone, and had wonderful inside and outside spaces. We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk over for snorkeling or walk up the street to the shopping center (my son used the bikes). Being so close to the beach and shopping meant that everyone could do things on their own schedule. We loved the snorkeling especially! The hot tub was also great and always ready for a quick dip. Lots of pots, pans, appliances, and dishes. Some spices and olive oil for cooking. Lots of towels, a couple of beach chairs, 2 bikes, and a great washer/dryer. I wanted a place right on the ocean and couldn't quite figure out if this one was like that--it is. The road is right on the ocean but this house has views from all 3 levels to see the beach and you can hear the waves. It was also fun to watch the surfers. The beach has life guards and bathrooms and was easy to enter for snorkeling. I've had knee surgery and was worried about that. I was able to just walk down on sand until I entered. You will want snorkeling equipment and water shoes, which you can get at Walmart or at the nearby shopping center. This is a great stay and is better than the pictures. Nice fresh flowers and Kona coffee sample too!

10/10 would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was 7 minutes to Keauhou Bay which was where our Manta Ray and Kealakekua Bay snorkel trip departed from. The house is also across the street from some of the best snorkeling we did on the island, we snorkeled at Kealakekua Bay (Captain Cook Bay) and a couple spots north of the airport and we still preferred the bay across the street. The rooms are private, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is so well equipped, plenty of cookware, plates and silverware. Amber was responsive and helpful when I had lots of questions before our arrival. You’re surrounded by huge trees so the birds in the morning can be quite loud, I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you want to sleep past 7. We would definitely come back here, it was the best!

Nice spot next to snorkeling and beginner surfing.

The house is right across from great snorkeling and beginner surfing area. The top deck makes a great place to hang out and watch the water activities. Whales watching is good when in season from the deck. Our host was very responsive. the local shopping and restaurants in Keauhou shopping center is away from the tourist congestion in Kailua just a couple of minutes' drive south and very convenient. This property is better maintained than most other properties on the big island.
