You are invited to rest and relax in “Ka Hale Lai” , Kailua’s House of Serenity, 5 minutes to the beach, and a short drive to the heart of Kailua town. This is a Legal, licensed vacation rentalNUC#90/BB0034. You will feel like you are visiting old Hawaii in this classic home. Enjoy modern conveniences like AC in every room and new kitchen and bathrooms.

    We are located in a quiet Kailua neighborhood called Kaimalino—a short walk away from Turtle Beach. We are walking distance from a grocery store and restaurants but away from the busier Kailua town. We are close to the H-3 on ramp which can get you to the airport in 25 minutes. Sand bar and fishing charters available for additional fee if available.

    The State of Hawaii is welcoming visitors with negative COVID tests and allowing legal vacation rentals starting this week! We are so excited to welcome you back to Ka Hale Lai!!

Our group loved this home. The layout is bright and open and has multiple spots to tuck in and visit or find some privacy. The pool, hot tub and outdoor space were highlights. Kitchen was well equipped and super functional.

Wonderful stay. Home was excellent and a real treat to be able to just relax and fully enjoy our time visiting the island. The rooms and especially the bathrooms were very nicely decorated and the A/C worked very well. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us.

The house was exactly as described and couldn’t have been more perfect from location to amenities. The hosts were very responsive, very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. We are already planning another vacation to stay at this exceptional property. I can’t recommend this property enough and wish I could give them 10 stars!!M!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay and especially enjoyed the use of the pool and all the different pool toy equipment. The extras like beach towels and ice chest were also appreciated. The home was clean, spacious and well equipped for our party of 6. The only suggestion is to have at least one extra toilet paper roll in each bathroom, an extra paper towel roll and hand soap for all the sinks. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard was beautiful. Contacting the owners by text made communication easy.

Fantastic house

What a great place to stay! If you are thinking about staying in the Kailua area, this is a perfect house. Great layout, super clean, nice neighborhood and close to the beach! This was our third time staying in Kailua and this house was easily the best. We'd definitely go back.

A perfect home away from home! This house has everything needed for a great vacation, just bring your bathing suit! The pool and hot tub are sublime! Plenty of room for a large group. Quiet location close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants! The local Kailua Farmer’s Market is soooooo good!! Would love to stay here again!

Great location

Property was conveniently located. Kailua is a great town with beautiful beaches and things to do daily. Driving to Waikiki, Kahlua Ranch, and Diamond Head was easy. For military families this property is conveniently located adjacent to the Marine base.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. It's located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and is incredibly convenient—super close to grocery stores and restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. We encountered a couple of minor issues during our stay, and the host was wonderfully responsive and addressed them immediately. Our family had a great time, and we would happily recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect spot in the Kailua area.

Great Family Retreat

We had an unforgettable stay here.The garden was amazingly beautiful and incredibly spacious, truly beyond our expectations.The house was very clean, well-organized, and well maintained.There were plenty of pool toys and even cooking ingredients already prepared, which made our stay especially comfortable and convenient.The host was extremely kind and responsive, answering every question quickly and thoughtfully.We spent such a memorable time with our family, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to share this wonderful space.It left us with such great memories that we would absolutely love to stay here again on our next visit.
