"Te Mahuru Tetreat is a jewel in Kaikoura’s crown. A perfect location, easy to get to and not far out of Kaikōura itself. The accommodation provides a high standard of facilities and is immaculate. It provided everything we need for our stay and the use of the hot tub and do some star gazing is phenomenal - a must if you are staying at Te Mahuru Retreat. "Wonderful different place to stay. Small compact and impeccable. Comprehensive personalised checkin, comfortable bed and great little toilet. Very well appointed and loved the breakfast options in the the truck which included fresh bread, free range eggs, delicious jam, cereals milk tea and coffee. If youve ever wanted to stay in a house truck then stay here. Its very cool. Cheers"

"Wonderful stay at Cubby House in Kaikoura! Leanne and Richard have created an oasis complete with an amazing view and friendly-furry-4-legged greeters. We traveled in NZ for over 2 weeks and Cubby House was the only place we stayed that had this level of charm, the most amazing coffee machine ever, and a fridge full of wonderful breakfast ingredients. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly be back."
