directions (on getting there, gate access codes, locker with gear) were all on point. room and amenities as described. you can saunter the beach grounds of turtle bay for wicked views with less people. hale'iwa would be about a 20 minute drive away.

Beautiful view and great location. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and the turtle bay property can't be beat! Swam with turtles right out the door. Food at the beach house is also amazing!

Excellent stay

Property and condo were beautiful. Condo had gorgeous views and it was very comfortable. It was well stocked and we are already planning a return trip. One issue we had is that the A/C was extremely loud when it kicked on and we could hear water dripping when it turned off. Other than that the rental was perfect.

Overall Good

Overall we had a good stay, the property location is amazing, and accommodations were good. A few things that could have been better: the A/C can’t be turned below 72, so if you like to sleep in cooler conditions that isn’t possible. Also, when the A/C turns on it is very loud, so it woke us up when it would run in the evenings. Also, the built in microwave wasn’t working so they put a small countertop unit in the kitchen which took up valuable counter space (kitchen is small), so if you like to cook during your stay it is possible but not easy to prepare food. But the view out the balcony, the snorkel/beach gear and the proximity to turtle bay made it a great stay.

Turtle Bay Ocean Villa

The property is clean and a walkable distance to Turtle Bay Resort. The amenities inside were nice. I especially liked that there was a high chair and toddler sippy cups available in the villa. I also liked that there was clear instructions on the villa listing and in the room on check in and out procedure. I look forward to another booking at this property in the future!

Relaxing Stay on the North Shore

Love the location our villa. The view from the deck was excellent. So close to the beach! There are two very good restaurants (Roy’s and The Point Sunset and Pool Bar) within walking distance. The Poke Bowl and Mai Tai’s, as well as the view, at The Point were outstanding. The villa was well furnished so no inconveniences. Being in a warm, humid environment, the villa had a musty odor upon arrival. Had to get some fresh air in quickly. Picture in bathroom above toilet appears to have mold growing on it. Regardless of what it was, it didn’t look good. Would I come back? Yes.

Great views and location

The pictures don't do the real view from the lanai justice, it was so good. Nice size apartment with the bonus of the beach locker. A great base for North Shore adventures, would definitely stay again.

Great condo for 2 people

This was our second stay in the Ocean Villas, but first time in Villa 202. I liked the location within the complex - very close to the beach. It was a good space for my husband and me, but if we were traveling with more people, we’d opt for a larger unit. Small fridge and lack of dishwasher didn’t bother us at all. We ate most of our meals at Turtle Bay or in nearby towns. Beach locker had everything we needed and we never had an issue finding a spot on the beach. This time around, we didn’t visit the pool, but I used it during our last visit and it was lovely. All in all, great visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again at the ocean villas: it’s much more cost effective than staying in the hotel. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Excellent Location, Subpar Stay

My husband and I stayed here for our 10-year anniversary the first week of October. This was our first time in Oahu and Hawaii overall, and while the grounds, amenities, and location were amazing, the actual condo was average at best for the price. When we got to the villa we had been up since 4 AM, traveling all day, and with a 5-hour time difference, all we wanted was to take a shower and crash. Unfortunately, we were greeted with a broken AC and an 80-degree condo. Although Hagen and Gina were very responsive when we reached out it was frustrating to experience no AC after an exhausting travel day. My husband and I are very understanding individuals, but we were asked to do things that would fall under a maintenance person's responsibility which put an extremely bad taste in our mouths from the get-go. Additionally, and even more upsetting was that Gina did not bother offering any sort of incentive or credit back to us for our disappointing arrival experience, nor did she check back in at any point to ensure the AC was doing its job. It’s unfortunate that for our entire week, we didn't get a single night of comfortable, sound sleep. As I was writing this review, I received an email from Kimberly letting me know we would receive a $350 refund for the AC issues. I am not sure that is sufficient but it was more than what we have been offered up to this point. I would pass on staying at this condo.

Awesome stay again!

3rd time we have booked here and had an awesome stay. Love the heated pool, loved the views and swimming at Turtle Bay is great as the rocks stop most of the big waves from coming to shore. The condo is as described and clean. Property manager is great to work with, check in was smooth, no issues during our stay. Only downside is no dishwasher. WIll stay again!!

My Winter Week

The villa was very nice with a beautiful view - enjoyed the veranda in the morning the most. Would have loved one coffee pod / packet - as was late night arrival and the am lawn mowing every day was not relaxing - but not the villas fault also the complex needs a light at the entry gate key pad - Overall great stay -& amazingly comfortable. bed - recommend this unit

We loved this unit!

This is a great studio condo in a great location. Everything worked and was in very good condition. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of tableware and utensils. The fridge is a small undercounter sub-zero. It was big enough for the two of us for the week, but don't plan on freezing anything larger than a shoebox. There's a nice Yamaha soundbar under the TV that you can stream music to, and the TV has all the standard streaming apps you can log into. Big balcony with a table and four chairs and a lounger, so much more space than the tiny little balconies you can see on the big resort building. Plenty of room to have a big home cooked breakfast outside every morning. There's a whole bunch of stuff in the beach locker, like-new condition adult snorkel equipment, boogie boards, lots of kids toys, and chairs and umbrellas. What's even better is that there is pretty good snorkeling right outside the door. We stayed in December, when the north shore is not the place to swim or snorkel, but the semi protected cove right outside was nice and calm. There are codes to get in and out of property and unit, great once we memorized the code lol. There's a little shop in the hotel that has a surprising selection of essentials, but you'll want to hit Foodland to stock up. Also enjoyed the resort lounges and poolside bar.

Nice short stay

The property is very well maintained, perfect for the two of us . I was given check in instructions for the door code only via vrbo and didn’t realize to park you needed an access code to the gate. The property management was extremely thorough and responsive. Would definitely recommend and return!

Lack of honesty

You should have told us specifically that renting this Villa we would not have any amenities and hotel except restaurants. Very misleading you should be ashamed. Stove did not work, no place to get rid of trash. Punching in security codes to get in and out is stupid. Everyone we talked to complained too many numbers and just a real hassle. Couches smell, ruined by ocean air. You should use leather and wood chairs Will never rent again from any Villas. The hotel said this rule to use hotel facilities on November 1st. You should have told us, you misled us

Turtle Bay is Gorgeous!

Wonderful location with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend this unit and the whole property. The view from the unit was absolutely amazing and Turtle Bay is one of the most beautiful places on the island. Through the resort, we went horseback riding and kayaking. We also had lunch and dinner at all their amazing restaurants.

Amazing location!!

Perfect condo for our small family of 3. On the 2nd floor of a 3 floor building. Beautiful view of the beach. Fully stocked beach locker with sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment and more! Parking included. Access to hotel amenities except for pool and gym. Would stay again.
