Nice spot near North Shore attractions
Overall it was fine. Our only complaint was that the Kuilima pools are too deep for our children (3 and 1) and we didn't have access to the hotel pools which would have been great for the kids. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and with beach toys, chairs, eyc.

Great stay
Enjoyed the quiet beauty of the North Shore. The rental was clean and well stocked. Spent most of the time out and about, so I can’t speak about the amenities surrounding the rental.

Kuilima West
Overall a nice place to stay. Unit had everything we needed. Could use some updates, as refrigerator and oven are very old, but both in working condition. A small TV in the bedroom would be nice. Pool was just across the parking lot and never crowded. We enjoyed our 4 days here.

Cozy and Clean, don't plan on late checkout.
Overall the place was perfect for us. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and they slept on the pull out bed and it was perfect for them. There was plenty of bedding and pillows for everyone and they were all clean and in good condition. We didn't end up using the dishwasher but the rest of the appliances worked great. The condo is in good condition and we felt at home there. It's really hot when you first walk in but once we got the fans on and the AC on, it cooled down significantly by the time we went to bed. Otherwise the temperature didn't bother us during the day when we were there. The only negative I have was in the communication at the beginning. When I booked the condo I requested to have a late checkout since I have a 3 year old who still naps during the day. We had a redeye out and wanted him to nap because I knew he wouldn't sleep on the plane. I didn't hear back after booking and gave it a few days before I followed up. I didn't hear back again and followed up a second time when I was given a different person to contact. This person responded to me within a day or so and said we could do late checkout but that it wasn't guaranteed. Then I was told the next day that someone booked for that evening so we could not do late checkout. I get it, it's a business. However, I did pay for 6 nights and requested this well in advance to have a late check out for that day. Basically, it's a great place to stay, but don't plan on a late checkout.

Relaxing quiet getaway
Condo was clean, tidy, & comfortable. It had everything we needed for the 5 days we stayed. The neighborhood was very quiet and well kept. Check in & out was extremely easy and fast . This condo was a short drive to many beaches. We had no problems at all during our stay and we enjoyed our time.

Relaxing and remote getaway on Oahu
The Turtle Bay Resort area is 3 -4 miles away from the nearest town. The condo is a ground floor unit on the golf course (which was closed during our stay). Pros: Clean (but somewhat dated). Quiet (most of the time). Nice sized for 2 adults (you could squeeze in two more people on the sofa sleeper). Easy gated access. Several nice and clean swimming pools on the grounds. Enclosed lanai. Comfy king-sized bed. Several beaches within 1/2 mile with rocks for seeing fish while snorkeling. 2 nearby natural areas. Sharks Cove was amazing. Sunsets off the point were spectacular. Cons: AC unit in bedroom only. Cooling the rest of the unit required brisk trade winds. Sofa sleeper smelled like mildew (a little Febreeze solved this). Upstairs unit had 3 small children who liked to run at 6 AM. (not sure if it was a rental or not). Eating at the Turtle Bay restaurants was very pricey. Other sit down dining options in the area were hard to find. The North Shore caters to day-trippers with food trucks and such. Using the clothes dryer resulted in hot air in the unit. Not sure if the vent is blocked or just too long to get most of the air out. Neighboring unit had a used bathroom sink and a bunch of other stuff stacked along the entrance walkway making things look dumpy.

A great Getaway
We were very happy with the property access and location. Check in was detailed and worked as instructed. The property faced the Fazio Course which is currently closed but this worked out nicely as we were not disturbed early by gardeners of golfers. All appliances were clean and worked. The only comment I have is that the bathroom sink was constantly dripping which affected my conscience as it was a water wate. The Property manager did contact me once that a plumber was coming out to look at it but he did not replace the leaky unit. There was a toddler staying in the unit above us, so there was the sound of little feet running across the ceiling many times but this did not reallly bother us. A good stay!

An entryway for two condominiums. The owner or long-term tenant of the apartment next to us, used the doorway / entrance area as a storage area for various shoes, toys, bottles, garbage.There was a constant smell of weeds so we could not open the windows. Our own terrace was more of a storage area for the owner of our the apartment, so it was not pleasant to be on the terrace. When we checked out, we were asked to wash the towels and bed linens, take out the trash, and wash the dishes. For the price of the overnight stay, this should be included in the price. The furniture in the apartment was old, but mostly clean. The ventilation in the bathroom should be cleaned to prevent germs. The apartment is very close to a busy street. We could hear all the footsteps of the other apartment above us. Would definitely not book this apartment again .

RUN DOWN-dust and mold
The condo is superficially clean, when you first walk in it looks great. And the directions we were given to get in were easy to follow and check-in went smoothly. Within 10-15 minutes, you notice huge dust bunnies all over the ceiling and tops of the drapes (particularly in the bedroom). You are told to use the AC unit sparingly and instead open the windows. That works OK when it is not super windy (which it was, unfortunately, causing doors to slam when we tried to circulate air) and not at night (not safe to have a screen door open all night with a teen daughter in the other room and the master being right next to the parking lot). If we did use the AC unit, it started leaking all over the floor within 20-30 minutes. The fans in the bedroom are both very weak and provided very little cool air. The fans in the family room were much better. The kitchen was very well stocked which was great. However, the fridge/freezer is growing black mold in a few spots (they have attempted to paint over it). And the area between the oven and the fridge is flat-out gross. It needs a very good cleaning which would not be difficult, just pull the fridge out and clean. They have gotten new furniture since they took pictures. The fold-out couch is extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress. Our daughter opted to sleep on the floor. They have a beautiful wood floor, but it was not put in well and has massive gaps between the planks in many spots. They have not taken the time to recenter any of the pictures since getting new furniture, so it just looks unkempt and sloppy. This condo needs so major TLC. It is in a great location and has potential, it is just not taken care of well enough to actually provide a comfortable place to stay after a long day of activities, especially when it is hard to cool the place down. We had friends staying in two other condos in the same development, and their condos were immaculate and the AC worked great. Hopefully the owners will spend some serious time deep cleaning this place and making it more comfortable We have stayed in VRBOs all over the US and this place was one of the most uncomfortable and run-down condos we have stayed in unfortunately. (We did not attempt to contact the property manager during our stay but we also had no contact which is surprising, typically when we rent a condo they check in with us after a day or two, which I think is excellent customer service!)

After passing your feedback onto the homeowner, they would like to share the following: - We apologize for any concerns you encountered. We have had a full rental schedule the past few months, which has made it hard to address some issues, but we are doing our best to keep the property well-maintained. - We recently elevated the AC unit, so it no longer leaks on the floor. We also replaced the standing fan in the bedroom and adjusted the ceiling fan in the living room. - There have been trade winds blowing the past two months, which can make it difficult to enjoy the open windows and keep the condo clean. - We are not aware of any dust issues near the ceiling or mold on the fridge but have asked our cleaner to doublecheck for both. The fridge does get rust spots from the tropical climate, so that may be what you noticed. - We are sorry to hear that the sofa bed was uncomfortable, and have ordered a new foam mattress for that. - We apologize that you were not completely satisfied with our home. We will continue to make improvements when we can, and we always encourage guests to reach out with any concerns, as we do all we can to provide a great experience.

Great little one bedroom place
This is a great place for a small family if kids don’t mind sleeping on a couch/floor cushions. Our kids loved it - walking distance to beach, good food and turtle bay resort. Highly recommend it.

Great Base for Exploring North Shore
The unit is as pictured. It’s a little dated and the fan in the bathroom is really loud. It was nice having a washer and dryer in unit. The neighborhood is quiet. Great value for the location.

Our stay was great. The condo was close to the pool and had a great view of the golf greens.
The communication was excellent- everything was easy. The pull out couch is not very comfortable though. You can feel the springs. Otherwise, great stay. Lots of kitchen items and plenty of towels and beach chairs etc to use. We would stay here again.

Great Location and Comfortable Space
The location is the best part. The condo is across from the pool, a few minutes walk from the beach and many walking trails along the beach and banyon trees and a horse stable. The golf course as a backyard provided large expanses for kids to run and to star gaze at night. The condo itself was clean and comfortable- loved the king sized bed and smart TV!

Great place!
This is a great place. You can walk out the patio doors onto beautiful, manicured grounds with a walking path. Turn right and walk around the complex directly to the Turtle Bay Resort stables and miles of beautiful, north shore beaches. I'd put my morning coffee in a travel cup, and walk to the beach every morning. The sunsets are spectacular too! We'd stay there again in a second.

Place was great for a golf getaway. Nice breeze through the whole unit.
Only issue was with the upstairs neighbor has heavy footsteps as early as 6am. Not sure if the floor boards are thin or they were just stomping. Other than that, I’d definitely stay again!!

road noise and noise neighbors
sounds like the people upstairs are working out on treadmill at 5am and you can hear Kam HWY traffic from patio. Everything inside the unit is pretty dated, but still had fun on the Northshore

Loved this condo
We really enjoyed our short stay at this condo. It had everything we needed and the lanai overlooking the golf course was perfect to spend an afternoon relaxing in the sun and warmth! The owner was very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again for sure.

Convenient Condo

Excellent Turtle Bay resort
Turtle Bay excellent location and condo’s have everything you need. Beach chairs & umbrella excellent addition saved much money at the resort and meant we could take them with us to visit remote beaches. Condo a little dated could do with renovation.

Comfortable, relaxing vacation in a very nice tropical location near a lot of Great beaches. Also near the Polynesian Cultural Center. (A Must!). We also went to thePearl Harbor Memorial.

Great getaway!
Great condo with nearby beaches. The place was fairly clean with nice amenities. The towels had some stains which we just threw in the wash. The place was quiet and relaxing which made it a nice getaway. AC was only available in the bedroom so it does get pretty warm in the living room by afternoon time. Pool and parking was easily accessible.

Excellent place & location!
Our family stayed here for 7 nights and simply loved it! Dorothy was fantastic to deal with and the condo itself was great! Kitchen had all the appliances we needed, the washer and dryer came in handy, the pool is less than 30 steps away and the beach toys were a plus! We loved having breakfast outside enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place! Thanks again! Maloha

Location was convenient. Bedroom was nice.
Hide a bed mattress had Springs sticking up through it, so we bought an air mattress And just slept on the floor and then carried it home with us.

Really nice.
The part I did not like was 2 rolls of Toilet paper for a 7 day stay. I’ve never had to shop for things like that while on vacation. We were out on the other side of the island and it still didn’t last half the week.

Wonderful Turtle Bay Stay
We had a great stay in this condo. Very clean and great access to all of the North Shore area. Dorothy responded to every need. We had breakfast each day on the back screened porch watching all the different birds. Great vacation home!

Loved the location
We loved the location....we did not spend a lot of time in the condo. Mainly just to sleep. The condo is a great place. Needs a little upkeep though. You can tell that it is an older condo. Needs a fresh coat of everything. But I would not hesitate to stay here again. My wife was a little upset at the fact that we saw a couple cockroaches in the kitchen!!! I told her thats what the geckos eat and not to worry!!

Yes, the condos were built in the 70's when the resort was built. We have put in new wood flooring recently and a new fan in the bedroom last month.

Great apartment!
Great apartment, enough room, good kitchen, right on the golf course, easy access to the pool, Turtle bay amenities are great, amazing grounds and walking/biking trails, and the beach is about a 10min walk.
