This condo turned out to be exactly what we were expecting and the view was amazing. Because of the timing (early Jan), it was near high tide each dawn and there were turtles eating algae on the rocks righ off our lanai every morning. We enjoyed whale sightings every lunch and dinner. We didn't miss the A/C and spent nearly all our time on the lanai, which was perfect. The hosts had excellent communication and were easy to work with. It was just a fantastic stay for us.

Glorious view with everything you need

This place was perfect for our family stay. Gorgeous view and sounds of the water. nice little beach access to the water a few steps away. and close to some amazing huge beaches within 10-15 minutes. we appreciated the snorkle, boogie boards and beach chairs that we could use. very thoughtful! kitchen was perfectly stocked - make fixing meals easy. loved the full wall mirror - expanded the view and feel of the space! appreciated the dresser with guidebooks, games and binoculars :-). Thanks for sharing your great place!

Paradise!

We stayed here 2 years ago and weren’t planning on going on a vacation. However, we always check out the availability as it gets booked fast. When we saw it was available we booked it immediately! Cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Kerry & Lynn are great hosts. The up grades and care they put into the condo shows. Stunning views, great community, very comfortable, all around just paradise! Our favourite part was waking up and having coffee on the lanai watching the whales & turtles and ending our night watching the amazing sunset, more whales and feeling so blessed.

Fantastic Location RIGHT on the Ocean

excellent location, very comfortable, large lanai overlooking the ocean. waking up and brushing my teeth on the lanai with the turtles every day was pretty magical. we also were lucky enough to watch the whales off in the distance. condo had literally everything you'll need and then some. it was very nicely supplied! we had an absolutely wonderful time staying here and highly recommend this condo to any and everyone visiting maui.

Amazing

The view from the unit is out of this world. If you like to wake up to the gentle sound of the waves on the rocks, then this unit may be right for you. If you like to see turtles from the comfort of the lanai, then this unit may be right for you. If you like to walk 15 feet to reach the beach for snorkeling, then this unit may be right for you. Overall, we had one of the best vacations!

Beautiful views and great location to things we wanted to do. There was a stinky cooler we could not use, one of the Tommy Bahama chairs was broken, along with a leaky face mask and non working snorkel. We could not use those items offered in the description, other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

View could not be beat! Sunsets, waves and turtles! Love the tiki torches on the property at night and close access to the beach with great snorkeling. Everything you need is there and well organized. Owners are great and responsive. Only wish list item would an in-unit washer/dryer. Would 100% stay again!

Wonderful Kuleana Resort

This resort never disappoints us. Wonderful views from the lanai & overall we really enjoyed our stay in this unit. A couple of items that could be addressed. The towel bar in the bathroom was loose from the wall & the shade on the lanai could not be lowered by the crank as it was broken. We manually lowered it. The air conditioner in the bedroom works great but is very loud. The unit itself is very clean but just needs a little maintenance done. Note: the laundry room is no longer coin operated machines so be aware you need to download an app & load money onto the app or purchase a laundry card & load funds. A little confusing but we figured it out. We will return to Kuleana as we love the resort!

Beautiful spot!

We loved our stay at Kerry and Lynne's condo! It was comfortable, inviting, and everything we needed was made available. The communication from our hosts was outstanding and we even got to meet them while we were there! The view from the lanai was so tempting it was hard to leave to do anything else! But right below us was a beautifully manicured landscape and a small beach full of sea turtles. We made it home each evening to enjoy the blowing of the conch shell and magnificent sunsets. The residents, guests, and staff at Kuleana were kind and cheerful. We definitely hope to be back!

Excellent Location, Relaxing Lanai

We had an amazing time at the Kuleana Resort! The lanai was phenomenal - best place to enjoy morning coffee while watching the turtles eating their breakfast below along on the rocks. Seeing the whales offshore with the amazing binoculars provided in the unit was an awesome experience each morning. The unit was comfortable for my family of four (two tween girls). We enjoyed hearing the ocean waves lulling us to sleep each night. Great neighborhood location. Definitely recommend this unit and resort - the turtles are amazing to watch and snorkel with! Thanks for a wonderful Christmas vacation!

Disappearing sand

The last time we were at Kuleana we enjoyed jumping waves and watching turtles. This time we found that apparently storms had taken the sand leaving rough rocks. Actually we were happy about that because it gave us a chance to not feel guilty about lounging around and listening to and watching the waves—just about our favorite activity at Kuleana, and the most important reason we have returned to this property several times!

Turtles turtles turtles

Really pretty little unit in a great location in Honokawai. No real beach to speak of but let me tell you, that is NO PROBLEM because the turtles absolutely love the rocks. 20 or more turtles came to rest and feed every day! Unit was clean and reasonably appointed. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Would stay again!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Kahana Kuleana Resort, Unit 718

We absolutely loved our stay here!!! Kerry and Lynne were such wonderful hosts. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to pack lunches for our daily beach/hiking excursions and for eating dinners/ happy hours out on the beautiful lanai every evening. We enjoyed coffee out there in the Mornings. The sunset is absolutely breathtaking from this Lanai. This condo was comfortable for our small family of 3, our son is 11. We loved watching turtles 🐢 and dolphins from the lanai. The “magic beach” with sand wasn’t there during our trip, which is very common at allot of beaches in Maui. It stormed the week we got there so the oceans were very rough and choppy. The “magic sand” beach does come and go and would be so wonderful to be there when it’s there to just beach and snorkel straight from the property. People did go in from the stairs to the beach on the property but we didn’t feel confident that our son could make it back in safely without hitting a rock so, we didn’t enter the ocean from there. As they say in Hawai’i….”if your unsure don’t go in!” We’re from San Diego and grew up in the ocean so, we understand it very well, the surf and currents can change in an instant!! I could’ve just slept outside on the Lanai, the ocean view and hearing the waves crashing was just so heavenly! This condo is situated on such a beautiful part of the island and close to tons of restaurants, shops and grocery stores when you exit the condo to the left or the right, So very convenient! My favorite lil hole in the wall restaurant for fish was The Fish Market down the street. They catch and sell it the same day. It’s so fresh and delicious! I don’t even eat much fish at home but I ate here almost daily. When we picked up food, we brought it back to the lanai daily, no need to spend the $ for an ocean view restaurant when you have that view!!!:) Tip: Times Market and Foodland were the MOST affordable on Maui, Safeway is SO overpriced! Kahekili Beach (Airport Beach) was our favorite to swim and snorkel daily, So close to the condo. Also our son loved boogie boarding at DT Fleming beach park, it was his favorite! The property and grounds at Kahana are beautiful and so we’ll kept up. They even have a filtered water refill machine in the lobby which we filled our own water bottles daily. Bring one! We will definitely be back and stay here!! Mahalo Kerry & Lynne
