The Neighborhood:

The beach beside Mahina Surf is part of the attraction, especially for a slow walk north to look for turtles. For a change of scene, Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are all within four miles. Kahekili offers open sand, Black Rock combines swimming and snorkeling with Ka'anapali activity, and Kapalua is a beautiful cove to the north. Back at the complex, a shared pool and grills keep the final hours of the day easy. This is West Maui for families who prefer a shoreline-first home base.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is Maui's main airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring West Maui's beaches, dining, shops, and coastal sights. Plan on driving for most outings and allow extra time for traffic along the coast.
