The condo was very nice and well maintained. Each day we were able to sit on the lani and enjoy the ocean view. We saw turtles, snorkelers, surfers, and wind surfers. Pretty cool.The condo was clean, decorated nicely, and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay here.

Unbeatable view!

This was a great place to call home for our two weeks in Maui. Everything was very comfortable, with a few exceptions. We brought my wife's step mom along and she was disappointed that there wasn't a TV in her bedroom as was shown in the pictures (it wouldn't have bothered me a bit). The couch is ok but you can feel the springs through the cushions in spots. OK, that's it for the slightly negative. The place was VERY clean. The lanai was second to none. Our building (#2) faces north so we had nice shade all day but could still enjoy the magical Maui sunsets by stepping up to the railing. We saw MANY whales and turtles from our lanai. The kitchen was well equipped (maybe add some tongs for the grill?). Beds were very comfortable. Location was great for getting around. Several things within walking distance. Pool and grill area was pristine. They literally clean the pool and grills every morning. Lenore (the building manager) was awesome in every respect and made us feel very welcome. We would stay here again!!

Beautiful view !

The views were absolutely beautiful ! We seen whales, turtles, a seal, fish, all from our balcony. Our condo was very clean and very well stocked for our stay. The condo is within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Perfect location !! Would definitely recommend this condo.

Terrific Get Away

We had an amazing time! We loved sitting on the Lanai every morning and watching the turtles. Excellent location close to beaches and short drive to Lahaina. The condo is in need of a few small repairs that are easy fixes which could make the stay even better. Wonderful to have the gorgeous views and hear the sea while sleeping. Loved it!

Condo was great condition, clean, comfortable and the view Amazing. Thomas was just a call away if we needed any thing even got a cool little welcome basket when we got there. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. A+ vacation experience.

Mixed Experience with Disappointing Shortcomings

My recent stay at this Vrbo property had its highs and lows. The mesmerizing view was undoubtedly the highlight, providing a sense of tranquility and beauty. However, the overall experience was marred by significant shortcomings. The property lacked cleanliness, with cobwebs in the Keurig machine and black hair on the sheets and pillowcases. Dead bugs were scattered across the kitchen floor corners, and dirty dishes were left unwashed. The relentless construction noise, including disruptive jackhammering, made relaxation impossible. Broken amenities included a leaking refrigerator requiring manual locking, a broken bathroom drain, and a malfunctioning screen door. Electrical issues in one of the bedrooms rendered power plugs unusable. The shower handle also popped off during the first use, necessitating immediate tightening. While the view was exceptional, these issues detracted significantly from the overall experience. This property requires better maintenance, cleanliness, and communication to meet guest expectations. Regrettably, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it. This is my first and possible last time using a VRBO.

Incredible views and location!

We had an amazing stay at Hololani! The views from the balcony were incredible and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. We had 4 adults and a baby and the balcony had plenty of seating for all of us. The location is also really great, walking distance to a general store/market, Maui brewing, and a coffee shop. They also had snorkel gear, beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella which we used frequently since we checked out a few different nearby beaches during our stay. It's a short drive to a full grocery store and other restaurants/shops and 10 minutes to Kaanapali/Whalers Village. The condo could use some interior updates and fixes but we didn't spend a ton of time inside the unit so it didn't bother us.

Beautiful Ocean View

We loved the condo and especially enjoyed the patio! We traveled with two couples and we each had a private bedroom and bathroom. We used the grills a couple times and they were spotless! We had a couple questions and Thomas the property manager was quick to respond and always friendly. The only downside was they had considerable construction going on around the pool so there was a lot of daytime noise. I’m sure the finished product will be beautiful. Also, the beach in front of the resort has eroded away but it didn’t take much away from the stay. We absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend.

Family vacation in Kahana

The property was fine, although they were doing a lot of work while we were there. There is not a beach in front of the property so we went next door. But a highlight for us was watching the turtles every morning and evening feed off the rocks for hours. It was wonderful. The place we had was on 7th floor and we were able to watch sunsets every nite. Molokai was our view and the ocean colors were spectacular. The only thing with our room was one of the screen doors was not opening and closing correctly so we used the one off the bedroom. Some of the tiles on the walls were loose, and the screen door seemed to be old. The beach items were great but again some were old and need to be replaced. But overall, it was great, a great location, and we had an enjoyable week.

Amazing Views, Condo needs investment….

Positive: views are amazing. You can watch Sea Turtles frolicking in the pacific from the balcony, showers work well and the location was good! You get an amazing cross breeze and can sleep with the windows open so you can hear the waves crashing all night. Plenty of towels! Amazing Sunset!! Negative: it’s very run down. Fridge doesn’t close without manually making it happen, beds are super old and lumpy, back glass doors barely close (forget about locking) and you can’t open living room screen because it will break - so you have to walk through the bedroom to get to patio, one bedroom door doesn’t close fully, No A/C and they are doing construction so it stinks like tar and is loud so kinda miserable with the windows open. Pans, cookware, etc is old and beat up. It needs a tiny bit of investment and this place would be great…. But I would the say 2.5 stars at best right now. Property management was great!!! They were very responsive and helpful!!

The condo was excellent.

The condo was excellent. The balcony faced the ocean. We saw turtles and whales daily. The accommodations were clean and neat. It had everything you needed. Beach chairs, towels and other items were provided. Since it had room for six people it would be better if it had more beach chairs.

Unbelievable View!

Our stay was perfect! The condo was comfortable and well supplied with everything we needed - it is in a great location and so close to so many things - checking in and out was a breeze and communication with the rental agency was always prompt. What really made our stay so wonderful was the view! The balcony is huge and filled with comfortable tables and chairs for relaxing and just taking it all in. We literally had front row seats for the best whale watching of our lives! Fantastic experience!

Excellent Property and Great Location

This property and it’s management impressed from the initial booking to checkout. My family and I truly appreciated the ease of check-in and checkout. The unit was in great shape and worked very well for our family of 5. The gentle, perfect-temperature breeze and accompanying sound of waves led to some of the best sleep we’ve had in a while. The managers of this property are thoughtful and responsive. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great property, with great access to local sites, sounds and food.

A nice beachfront condo

Very nice condo with a perfect ocean view. The beach in front of the property is easily accessible and there are other nice beaches a short walk away. The area is quiet and there are many dining options nearby. Assigned parking spot (please make sure you get the spot number in your checkin email) and decent swimming pool+grill area. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear in the condo which is a plus. There is no AC but host provided plenty of fans and you get a nice ocean breeze. Cleaning crew did a great job and the place is spotless.
