As Described

The photos are accurate and sea turtles everywhere. Property well managed. Noise from others was minimal which I was thankful to not hear kids screaming at the pool all the time. Biggest complaint was that the building says no smoking all over it but people just go to the north and smoke leaving the smell to waft into my open windows since no AC.

Comfortable condo in great location

Wonderful 2-bedroom with great views. Although it’s on the water, there’s no actual beach, but there’s one within walking distance. Location makes it an easy drive to many other beaches, the northwest end of Maui and grocery stores in Lahaina, and there’s a convenience store, liquor store and a couple restaurants within walking distance. Although the unit has no AC, opening windows and doors lets the breezes flow through and kept us comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Close to Perfection

Four of us (2 couples) stayed here for 15 nights. It felt like we landed in heaven. Whales, rainbows, a warm pool, fabulous bedrooms (both with fuse and comfortable king beds, and our own bathrooms! We loved this place so much and will be back. Also, Maui paradise who are the property managers were fantastic to work with

Great Family Getaway!

HLA204 is exactly as described and in the pics! Beautiful ocean views from EVERY room! Saw several whales from the balcony and even saw a turtle one of the mornings! GREAT LOCATION - 3min walk to Hawaiian Village coffee shop, Maui Brewing, Snorkel Bob's Surf Shop and Whaler's General Store (at the gas station). Also 3min walk in one direction to China Boat Restaurant (recommended - take out only) and the other direction to Miso Phat Sushi (recommended - reservations required) and Dollie's Pub (recommended). 8min drive to Black Rock beach (highly recommended - great snorkeling!) and Whalers Village (shopping, restaurants, etc - highly recommended) and Airport Beach (recommended - snorkeling). Also just a 5min drive to food truck park (highly recommended) and grocery store. On site HEATED pool is awesome - we went in for a dip almost each evening! Although there is technically "a beach access" by the property it's not really a beach...if you want one within walking distance, walk 7mins north (past China Boat restaurant) and there's an access point to Kahana Village Beach Bay which feels quite secluded and private. Management company was very responsive before, during and after our stay! The beach chairs, towels and hard-top cooler that are provided in the unit were fantastic - we used them almost every day and saved us the hassle (and ) of renting them! Overall, great unit, great location that I would highly recommend - Mahalo!!

Everything was just gorgeous. Did not realize that the place did not have central air conditioning and it got very warm at night. A thinner covering on the bed would have been helpful. Otherwise very very no nice

Heaven!

Our 2nd time renting here and we love it so much! Clean, beautiful, comfortable. We love the neighborhood and enjoyed grabbing local food and having dinner on the balcony with the best view! Beds are comfortable and the morning views from our rooms was breathtaking! Kitchen is well stocked with all apliances and we couldn't have been happier! I will say there is no air conditioner and the 1st night was hot and humid but there are lots of fans and the rest of our stay we adjusted! We love this unit sooooo much! Huge thank you to the owners and management company. As I said, we've stayed her twice and hope

Great family vacation!

Our stay at Hololani was perfect. Location was close to many beaches. We enjoyed the evenings on the balcony after a day in the sun. Property manager was kind and helpful, even driving us to pick up our rental car. Above and beyond!

Fantastic Views!

Condo is nice and roomy. The lanai has stunning views of Molokai and Lani. We saw several whales while having morning coffee! The master bedroom has screens allowing the sound of the ocean every night while falling asleep. Walking distance to restaurants and close to great beaches. We had a fantastic time!

Maui Vacation

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved being right on the water and listening to the waves whenever we were at the condo. The kitchen is stocked well and we were able to make some meals which was great! We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The condo is less than a ten minute drive to several beautiful beaches. We would absolutely stay here again!

Family vacation in Maui

The sunset view is just amazing every night! And if you can stay up to see the moon set even more beautiful. Clean property all around. Being on the end was really nice getting the cross draft and the sun not shining all morning long. In regards to the ongoing construction, they crews set up right outside the room and the people working on the property were very respectful and didn’t really start working until after 8 am and remained quiet for the most part. So that wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

Very nice property with beautiful Views and sounds of the ocean all night. No issues with noise from other guests. Condo is stocked nicely and appreciated the beach towels, umbrella, and chairs. Condo is situated nicely that all the rooms are on the beach side so you must open up all the sliders and enjoy the view. Other condos had sliders in the walkway to Front doors so we were grateful all pointed to ocean and felt safe. This is also an end unit which we loved. Would be great to get the front door shutters to open and not fall off so the nice breeze from the front could come through with the front door closed. Wonderful stay overall. Thank you!!

Annual trip to Maui

We love coming to Maui and our favorite place to stay is Hololani. This unit is perfectly situated and comfortable but needs a little updating - faucet in kitchen leaks and faucet in one of the bathrooms is cracked and needs to be replaced. Living room furniture is really dirty and either needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. We used a beach towel to sit on the chairs.

16 days in absolute Paradise

From start to finish this unit was amazing! Vrbo had a glitch where i couldnt pay thru them and barbara was amazing and kept me in the loop the entire process to get the payment sorted out. When asking questions during our stay we got a response very quick. The unit is spectacular, the sunsets are unreal every night and the waves are so loud it drowns out any other possible noise if there is any(wouldnt know only heard super loud waves) the cross breeze is amazing and if waves are to loud they have ceiling fans and portable fans. Was well equipped for cooking and had beach chairs, coolers and boogy boards. The unit for sure has some wear to it but we didnt mind in the least. The views make this unit amazing.

Amazing view - but place could be so much better

As other reviews have said this unit has amazing views. It’s in an amazing location. The sunset is fabulous. However, I’m not sure it’s that great of a value given the price they are now asking for. It felt like the unit was mid remodel. The furniture was clearly better than what the listing showed. But then really easy basic things were sorely lacking. The unit can sleep six and we got exactly 6 drinking glasses. However there were 16 champagne glasses. There were only 2 plastic cups, which are required in if you want to drink by the pool. However the cookware was new. There were no placemats for the glass table (no wonder it is now scratched.) They didn’t give us enough trash bags for our stay despite requesting we toss the trash everyday. The bathrooms are dated and Hot water could take up to 20 minutes to arrive. But the beds are comfortable. Cleanliness was an issue. You are asked to take off your shoes per Hawaiian custom. However within 10 minutes my feet were black. There is no swiffer and nothing to dust with and I didn’t enjoy mopping the floor with a nasty mop my first night in Hawaii. There were plenty of chairs and snorkel gear but it was covered with sand. So we got to clean that twice. In the end, I questioned the value. A few little thoughtful/inexpensive things would make this unit so much better.

Beautiful ocean view

The view was so beautiful, and the breeze from the ocean was nice. The condo floor plan worked great for our family, we traveled with our 2 single adult male children. They had the front, we had the back with a view as well, and we had our own bathroom, and the must-have was a bed for each of them. The condo was clean and had most things you would need for cooking. The best Sushi across the street and Happy hour pizza. We also found a walk-up beach bar down the beach with great prices to rent paddle boards and kayaks. Turtles parked on the beach out front for a nap. (please do not touch them) The condo came with beach chairs and a cooler that was so helpful for our day trips. We would differently come back! Thank you

Great for our anniversary vacation

We loved the location and ease of access this unit provided. Beautiful ocean views from inside and from the balcony. The beach was not crowded, and we saw turtles swimming just offshore each day. We loved having the beach chairs, cooler, and towels to take with us on our outings.
