The property was in excellent condition and was plenty of space for our family of four. The ocean front view was truly spectacular as we were able to see whales in the distance as well as some wonderful sunsets. We truly enjoyed our stay and would look forward to a return trip in the future at this property!

We just left and I must say we had an incredible week! The condo was amazing with amazing views! You just looked out and saw whales. Rene was amazing and I would highly recommend!! We will definitely be coming back! And let us know if they want to sell. We would love to buy it!

The view was amazing with whales throughout our entire stay. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the deck and seeing turtles and seals. The condo has all you need for your stay. We loved that we had boogie boards, snorkels, and chairs. We cooked an entire Christmas in the condo that is stocked with most everything you need. Close by to a few great restaurants and fast food for our teens. Walkable to a beach on the shoreline. Great beaches within a few minutes' drive.

The host was not friendly at all. Host was always rude in communication. I had a bad vibe when they messaged me to pay the 2nd and final installment even before the due date. The tone was, as if I have missed the payment. But as this was the first communication, I let that go. Form there on even when I was in the property, communication was not great. It never felt welcoming. Some of the amenities in the property was not working as expected. The listing image is misleading. The listing image shows that there is a beach (small) next to the property. But when I reached there, I did not see the beach, it only had the shore, when I asked about it, they told me, during winter it washes out.

Wonderful stay! Stunning views off huge balcony. Great location. Contacted host regarding coffee pot problem & she promptly had a new coffee pot delivered. Great supplies in the kitchen. Amazing Condo in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Communication from the host was top notch and the location was perfect. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The condo had a pool that overlooked the ocean, so you got to enjoy both worlds. I loved that there was a concierge on site to assist with tours. I will definitely book again anytime on my next trip to Maui

Great view and all the amenities that we needed were provided along with a very thoughtful welcoming basket of goodies. Renee was very helpful in getting questions answered and communicated very promptly on maintenance repairs that were scheduled during our stay but did not impose on any of our activities. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing views and lots of room for family

Lots of room for the family. We have 3 teens and plenty of room for all. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus. The beach was great for fishing, swimming, and snokeling. Would go back again for sure.

Magnificent Ocean View!

We have nothing but positive things to say about this vacation rental. Check in was easy, (aside from me inadvertently deleting our welcome packet)! Though we had to pay, parking was never an issue. The condo was very clean, nicely stocked with kitchenware and beach accessories as well. Our mattresses, pillows and sheets were very comfortable. For us, the location was perfect. But the best part of this unit is the huge lanai with the breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean! We enjoyed our morning coffee watching and listening to the birds in the Palm trees and spotting the sea turtles coming up to the surface for air. There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to an ocean breeze and the sounds of crashing waves! Air conditioning is available if needed. The pool is heated and we cooked on the available grills to make a few delicious dinners! We all agree, we will stay here again when we return.

Royal Kahana...as advertised

Great communication with owner prior to trip.Easy "late arrival" access. Parking no problem.Excellent location on the oceanfront.Clean, spacious condo.Very nice and much appreciated welcome basket of goodies.Well appointed with all you need. (Except a cooking sheet)Nice to have a reliable refrigerator ice machine that churns out the cubes. (very important in this hot weather location!)Beach toys and umbrellas available for use although some could use a little repair.We experienced a half day interruption in power having occurred throughout the building, which was well communicated with the owner, and which we acknowledged was out of their control.Restaurants and grocery stores were a short drive away and very useful for us.All in all a very delightful vacation and exactly as advertised.

March 2025 Stay

Came here during spring break in March 2025. Here’s what I would say. Like in many other reviews, the building and condo are older, we knew that going in. it could use a new coat of paint and a refresh for some of the furniture. My daughter complained that her bed was super squeaky and would wake her up. The air conditioning didn’t work all that well, it is not central air. It struggled to keep up and the temps were high 70s and lower 80s. Pool was basic, but nice. Beach was a little bit of a disappointment because it’s sandbagged which took away from the beauty of the beach views IMO. Balcony was a wrap around which was great for looking out at the ocean, but you really couldn’t keep the windows open at night because the air conditioning would get overloaded. Also there are many windows in the condo so you really had to make sure curtains were pulled to manage the heat in the afternoon. The beach access is the next building over. So you would need to carry supplies about 50-100 yards or so, not that big of a deal, but something to consider.. Kitchen was well appointed, Communication with owner was good, had an issue checking in and she was quick to respond. Location overall was good, there’s a few restaurants, dive shop, convenience store, liquor store, and coffee shop all with walking distance which was great.Quick drive to Kaanapali beach and Blackrock. This is not luxury or the 4 Seasons, but it was a large unit with plenty of room for the 4 of us.

Comfortable condo with spectacular views

Overall we had a great experience here. The view was facing westward towards Lanai and Molokai, so sunsets were especially nice. Lots of outdoor seating on the balcony. Although it is oceanfront, the beach was small at the property and there were large sand bags to prevent erosion (we were aware of this before booking). To get to a larger beach you could walk down the road or take a short car ride. This was not a big deal to us, but easier beach access might be important to some. The pool area was nice, with an area to barbecue. The condo was comfortably furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a nice welcome basket. The owner was responsive and gracious. Parking was easy. There are a few restaurants and basic shopping within walking distance. It is a very easy drive to popular areas such as Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina.

Space and Location

It was extremely easy to book, arrive, and enjoy this property and I'm disappointed I hadnt stayed here earlier. The 2.5 baths are a plus for larger groups and the huge lanai is amazing during whale season. Walking distance to restaurants and coffee and the coded door lock was quick to learn. Recent updates are noticeable and appreciated. Someone did back into our rental car while we were there and there are no cameras of that area, This is the first time this has happened to us, but be mindful of the narrow parking spots.

Great views in Kahana, Maui

We rented this oceanfront 2 bdrm condo in Kahana, Maui for 2 couples. The layout was perfect and the views were some of the best we've had in several trips to Maui. The unit truly is oceanfront with a wrap-around deck. The kitchen is a small galley style but fully functional. There is a small dining table and a large common area with lots of seating. The bedrooms worked well for 2 couples (we had the twins arranged as a king in the 2nd bdrm and it was quite comfortable).There was no beach in front of the condo (there were large sandbags to prevent erosion) but there is a nice beach within a couple minutes walk. We visited in January so there was a lot of whale activity to watch and several sea turtles swimming below the balcony. We spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings enjoying watching the whale and turtle activity from the balcony.The condo complex doesn't have a lot of amenities you might find at a resort but there are restaurants and bars within a close walk. The owners did have a couple boogie boards and 4 beach chairs that we took advantage of. There is also a activities concierge downstairs in the lobby (we booked an awesome snorkeling trip to Molokini with Four Winds). Whalers General Store across the street had most of the essentials at surprisingly reasonable prices. For more variety you can drive to Safeway in north Lahaina or further afield is Walmart and Costco in Kahului near the airport (a good place to stock-up after leaving the airport).

Nice condo

Condo was as advertised, kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking utinsels. The condo staff was nice and helpful when needed. The balcony is amazing and huge, a great place to spend your evenings and mornings.

Loved this property!

Saw a lot of blow outs from the whales from the deck! The wrap around deck was awesome. The tv controls were tricky, so we just watched on demand tv, which was totally fine
