This condo and condo complex are simply amazing. We are a family of 4, two boys, ages 8 and 5. We absolutely loved this place. First off, the condo itself was clean, very well stocked with all the amenities, which included the best linens and pillows I have ever had in a rental. It had everything a young family like us needed to go to the beach such as chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler, and toys, plus much more. Secondly, the property grounds are beautiful and Vince, the property care taker goes non stop to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Hats off to you Vince. The other tenants were a bit older then us, but were very warm and inviting and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Lastly, the area itself is perfect for families. Lot of grocery stores near by to get your essentials. Lots of shopping, golf, etc, less than 10 minutes away, but most importantly, there are so many beaches to visit and enjoy, all within 10 minutes of this condo. We will absolutely be back here! Thank you to our hosts for allowing us to stay.

This place is truly a hidden gem - ok maybe not so hidden as its always booked, but its just an exceptional view and stay. You're own fairly private sunsets every night. Pool with a view just steps away. 2 minute walk to see the turtles. As pretty much everyone says the loft get abit hot, fans work but it wont get cool. The daily constant breeze is the life safer. Place was clean and we appreciated the extra amenities (spices for cooking, cleaning supplies etc). Highly recommend!! Only downside - its on the west side of Maui, if you plan to do the HANA road, just know its about an hour drive to the east side of Maui before you officially start that road. Other than that, which isn't really a negative, the place is well worth the stay!!

A Slice of Paradise

Location was great. There was a little beach by the property with sea turtles everyday. You did have to climb down some rocks to get there but nothing difficult. View from the lanai was beautiful. Check in was easy. Plenty of space for our family of three. The condo had everything we needed. Thank you!

Beautiful view!

Great stay for my family! What you see is what you get. The view off the lanai is stunning and where we spent most of our time while at the condo. Condo is well stocked and the host was very communicative and easy to contact if we had questions. The beds were comfy. It did get warm in the condo but we found that the ceiling fans and other provided fans helped. There is no AC. Would definitely stay here again!

The description of the unit we stayed in is pretty much bang on, it certainly is a "piece of paradise". The unit is situated in a prime location. For the price we paid I have few recommendations; The surface cleaning was done just fine, however I feel it's time for a thorough deep clean (carpets, drawers, dusting) and a fresh paint job would do wonders for the place. An updated binder is required as it's not applicable with the existing tv remotes, as we had issues. A new set of towels would be great, (no longer white) in one of the bathrooms and limited face cloths. The cutlery/dishes/pots and pans/ bowls etc were plentiful, a new can opener would be good. The layout of the condo is very comfortable, as stated in the online listing the cabinetry and counter tops are beautiful, appliances all worked and the lanai was wonderful with an amazing view.

Kahana Beach

Lovely spot north of Lahaina & Ka’anapali. Near West Maui beaches and all sights this side of Maui. Condo was perfect for our party of 3. All the little personal touches made it super comfortable to stay here. Lovely grounds, quiet family-friendly resort, heated pool is nice on a windy day. We Would come back!

Beautiful home, perfect location

We found the home very comfortable. Breeze off the ocean made it so pleasant, and the view is stunning. We didn’t hang out at home much. Basically used the home as a crash pad for daily adventure sightseeing.

Fully loaded rental!

I love Mahina Surf and this unit was super well appointed- it had everything, even a baby bottle brush! The owners worked with me so I could get some rented baby furniture delivered ahead of our stay and were very nice. Just be aware this is a second story unit and there’s a lot of stairs to get to the unit and then in the unit. Sort of tough with a baby and stroller etc etc.

The Best!!!

Mahina Surf property has it all in gorgeous setting with best pool, honu abound and whale watching. Easy walk to morning coffee and the Times grocery store. Our condo was beautifully updated with well stocked kitchen appliances, wifi/tv in every room and fantastic view from the lanai. I would return again and again. A nice property with a beautiful view and turtles to greet you on the beach. Furnishings of the condo were good. The kitchen pans needed to be replaced. More towels and sheets could be provided. A little noisy being next to the pool. Fans made noise after being on awhile . There was no battery in the fan remote in upstairs bedroom.

Nice property. The pictures don’t actually do the view justice. The unit has a partially obstructed view of the ocean but it’s better than it looks from the pictures. The property itself is beautifully maintained. And we were lucky enough to see a group if sea turtles swim in on two if the evenings.

The hosts keep an amazing condo. This is our second time in this same unit. The views are incredible the environment is peaceful. It really is a small piece of paradise. Paradise!

It was my first time booking through VRBO, I honestly made the best decision EVER!! The owner was always attentive and just amazing, and always went above and beyond. Darren allowed us to bring 3 additional guest (2 adults and an infant, which the place had plenty of room but we still asked him). Darren was nothing but kind. Once we arrived in Maui I called Darren immediately and asked if we can do an early check-in, luckily the previous people had left earlier before their check out, and he sent his cleaning crew to clean the place. We were able to check in by 12pm which was great since we had our daughter with us and need to feed her and try to get her a nap. Once we arrived at the property, we opened the door and it was like walking into a paradise, absolutely gorgeous. The view was breathtaking, the place was clean, and the description is accurate. The onsite person that is there to help out if you have any questions, is also super kind. We asked him to show us how to use the ceiling fans because two of them were not turning off/on correctly. Within hours Darren had someone come in and help us with that and fixed them immediately. I just don't have enough words to describe this experience, it was magical, it was home away from home. We all absolutely loved the place and would rebook it with no hesitation!! Thank you, Darren, for being so kind, going above and beyond and exceeding our expectations, and accommodating in every way possible!! -Eduardo
