Awesome Condo!

We loved the view, cleanliness and all the beach gear that came with the property. Our 4th trip to the Whaler and definitely the best accommodations yet!

Stayed at this during New Years week 2025/2026.I am familiar with The Whaler having stayed there many times. The property is located right next door to Whaler Village for shopping, dining etc. This unit is in a great spot with balcony views of beach/ocean, Black Rock and pool. Unit is spacious which includes a roll away. The place was clean and had everything needed. Water toys, beach chairs and umbrellas were in the unit along with kitchen/laundry items. The laundry room is literally right next door if you needed it so very convenient. I would definitely book this place again next time I travel to Maui.

We loved the location, all of the extra equipment that the condo had, i.e beach chairs, boogie board. The condo was clean, and while a little on the older side, was the perfect place to stay for 10 days.

Whaler towers stay

Comfy Room with a View

We had a great stay! Enjoyed whale watching from our lanai over looking the courtyard. Beds were comfortable. The Whaler property is in a great location. Hope to be back soon!

Hawaii Vacation

The Whaler is a beautiful property with close access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our condo was clean and very nice. We even had beach chairs and snorkel gear. If I had one complaint it was the parking garage which we could rarely find an empty spot during our stay.

Great for families

Great view, fully equipped for the beach, our family of 4 were comfortable. Condo was more spacious than what we expected. 2 full baths was a bonus. Only thing missing was a regular coffee maker, keurig was available.

Great stay!

The location of the condo was perfect - right on the ocean and within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. The room was clean, and the balcony was large and provided a beautiful ocean view. We appreciated Lorraine’s responsiveness to our questions, and really enjoyed our time at The Whaler!

Family Vacation

The condo was as pictured and offered extra thing for the beach, etc. The view was nice, proximity to beach, pool, restaurants, and stores all within walking distance. The grounds were well kept.

The Whaler 870

Property was spacious and clean, great location! Right on the beach. There is a 25 dollar resort fee but it includes parking and access to the pool, gym, etc. Lorraine was a great host.

Perfect stay for a week in Maui

We had a wonderful weeklong stay. The condo is well-situated on the beach, clean and filled with sunlight. It was roomy for our family of 5, and well-stocked with beach gear. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Lorraine was great at communicating right away when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!

Great place and location!

The property is perfect. Clean and well kept in a great location. The room is also perfect. Two bathrooms was great for a family of four. Also, Lorraine has many amenities including beach chairs and coolers. We loved our stay at Whalers Village and will stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property

Amazing condo in an excellent location. The actual condo was perfect for a family of four, well stocked with the added bonuses of a boogie board, snacks and other nice touches. The condo facilities were great, the beach was glorious and it was lovely to be able to walk to all the restaurants and cafes along the beach and in Whaler Village. The reservation process was easy and the hostess was extremely accommodating, changing my dates without penalty when our plans changed. Would definitely book here again!!

Wonderful property

Perfect location right on the beach! Pool and towel service was very convenient and the Whaler staff was great. The chairs and coolers in the room were very helpful! If you plan to play tennis or pickleball they have rackets and balls at the desk but they do not allow black soled shoes on the courts. The beds were comfortable and the room was perfect for our family of 4. The only thing I wish we had were some disinfecting wipes for the counters and table. Wonderful property and perfect location!

Condo very outdated. Sliding glass doors open very hard, as very old and rusty. Bathroom ceiling has mildew in it. Clean but old .

Wonderful Condo

We spent a wonderful ten days in this condo. It was clean and comfortable. It is one of the most well stocked condo's we have stayed in. Everything we needed was there for us to use. The king sized bed was comfortable. Although there were only two of us, we really liked having two bathrooms. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit, but it is only a short walk down the hall to the free ones that are available for guest use. They were available any time we needed them. Communication with the owner was terrific and timely. We would definitely stay in condo #870 again! We love the Whaler and now we love this unit!

Good value for the money at best place on Kaanapali Beach!

The only place to stay on Kaanapali Beach is the Whaler. It’s our 8th time. This unit was the best value for the money for a one bedroom two bath. The unit is clean and inviting with a perfect view of the court yard and ocean and a piece of Black Rock. Although vintage Whaler decor without upgrades in many years, it is comfortable and relaxing. Unit comes with nice Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella for the beach along with snorkeling equipment. Sitting on the Lanai in the morning sipping coffee can’t be beat. There are very nice grills in front of both towers, so make sure you use them. We highly recommend this unit as it was $100-$200 less a night vs similar 1 Br 2 bath.
