Wonderful Stay!

The unit was sooo wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for, which was like 3 separate couples suites, because each had there own bedroom with a king size bed, and most importantly, there own ensuite/bathroom. This worked out great for when we returned from an outing at the beach, and all 6 adults needed to wash up and prepare for a night out! With the pools and activities on site, you could spend your whole day hanging around the resort. Then, just head back and enter through the keyed lanai, into the suite! This worked out so great, as I am handicapped. So I didn't have to go all the way around to the main entrances. Monty was so accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay again, in a heartbeat!!

Perfect Location

The location was wonderful, just 2 minute walk to the beach and easy access to the boardwalk. Being on the corner and the first floor made it super convenient. There is an elevator at the end of the hall, but the unit is just a few feet from the stairs, one flight down to the parking garage. And the privacy curtains made it easy feel like you are in your own world. Also. it is Just a 15 minute walk to Airport Beach where the snorkeling is fantastic.The apartment itself, has lots a places to sit and relax and eat and play games. Two of the bedrooms have on-suits. The kitchen is fully equipped. Some cups are showing their wear and could be replaced. Bring your own soap and shampoo for the showers. There were boogie boards, a large cooler ( bring your own smaller one if you don't want to use the big one ) and umbrellas and several beach chairs! The AC worked perfectly. The host replied back by text within minutes each time, so very responsive. Can't wait to come back again!

Gorgeous high end luxury condo

Location on ground floor with 1-2 minute walk to pool and beach. Great kitchen, very soft comfortable beds. Location in the center of many great restaurant options.

Wonderful property

Great property for families!

This is a great property for an extended family or multiple couples. It is centrally located on the ground floor, but noise from the pools is almost non-existent (and not visible from the lanai). The beach, Dukes, food trucks, and grocery store are all an easy walk! The property has everything you need for a great Hawaiian vacation and the host is proactive and very responsive.

Great Vacation!!

This was perfect for our family's last minute vacation to Hawaii. Huge plus for direct in and out access thru the Lanai as this is on the ground floor - no need to walk thru the halls or lobby! The only neutral comment (under cleanliness) was the construction thru our Lanai - the property was under construction so even though we could use the Lanai, we had construction workers and machinery moving in and out across the private lawn section. Minor (short term I assume) inconvenience but that didn't stop us from having a great time at this property! Will be returning! Monty was very responsive, accommodating and helpful throughout the entire trip!

Wonderful both indoor and outdoor space!

Three generations staying in this 3 bedroom large condo that was equipped with everything we needed. It was lovely being on the ground floor with a large shaded patio with a large dining table and multiple types of patio furniture, a nice BBQ and also a grassy area the kids could play on. It was a very short walk to everything that the Honua Kai Resort has to offer and the bonus was we didn’t have to use any elevators. I would recommend this highly to families who have young kids with lots of energy!

Thoughtful, tech savvy, and amazing for balancing beach and family time!

Beautiful property with easy access to beaches, pools, and dukes without having to navigate long halls, while still being convenient to the general store that we visited a lot! Monty was so attentive and responsive when a neighbor was smoking and it was affecting our unit. I wish I had notified him sooner, but I was being patient. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to have a nice day out on the beach, and so comfortable in the evenings when we were decompressing. Thank you for hosting our incredible family reunion memories!

Awesome family destination

WOW! Our trip to Maui started with finding this condo and when you walk in your jaw will drop.So much space and amenities for two adults and five teen/tweens we often forgot they were here with us. Love the wrap around lanai and it's views. The resort is amazing in itself. Find the bonus exit if your heading off property or over to Times supermarket for a bottle of wine (or two). The beach seems endless. The ocean is perfect temp. and floating with sea turtles all afternoon is priceless. CARPE DIEM

Luxurious, Wow-Factor condo!!!!

Stayed here with family and our jaws hit the floor as we walked in! So beautiful and spacious! Tall ceilings and immaculate! We loved the ground floor access. So easy to go to the pool which was steps away and the beach was just beyond the pool. We had come from the Westin Villas, which was nice but very cramped. Monty’s place at the Honua Kai was leaps and bounds above the Westin as far as luxury and space. Monty was extremely accommodating and good to check in with us frequently to make sure all was well. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this condo! You will feel like a millionaire! ;)

Great for Families

We have a wonderful stay. Monty communicated well and addressed any issues promptly. The location on the ground floor is perfect for families. The kids enjoyed hunting for frogs and lizards right outside our door, and getting to the pool directly from the backyard was super convenient. Would highly recommend staying here!

Honua Kai

This was my third stay at Honua Kai, and I would definitely go back. The unit and host were both terrific, as are the facilities at Honua Kai, especially if you are traveling with children and want to have plenty to keep you busy at the resort. Its also a great location to all that Maui has to offer on the western half of the island and very close to the grocery store, great fish market and my favorite sushi spot (Miso Phat).

Outstanding

If you want to feel like you live in a beautiful home in a tropical paradise, this is where you want to stay. The condo is fantastic - it’s literally closer to the beach than to the Bell desk. Get anything from the fish market up the street, grab your favorite adult beverage on the way back, and you can grill something that was swimming that morning as you watch an unobstructed view of the sunset from the lanai. OK, if instead you want to spend your time in Hawaii looking for problems then yes, you might find a scuff in the paint. But you’re going to have to look for the scuffs - this property is very well maintained. Monty was a great host - checking in to make sure things were going well without being intrusive. Just the right balance. This condo is a big, comfortable place to enjoy with your family in an idyllic setting. We will be staying here on our next Maui vacation.

The accommodations were as described and the host did an excellent job of providing all the items you'd need to fully enjoy the property (beach chairs and umbrellas, kitchen supplies and utensils, coffee maker, etc.). Additionally, Monty was extremely responsive when we ran into any issues.
