We stay at Maui Kai every year and this was one of our favorite condos! One thing that makes it stand out from the rest is the layout. The lanai is an extension of the living room which creates a much larger living space. Whenever we were home at the condo, we opened the sliding glass doors and let the sound of the ocean in. During our month long stay, we saw numerous whale shows, sea turtles bobbing in the waves, a pod of spinner dolphins, a pod of false killer whales, and a monk seal- all while just sitting at the high table eating, drinking, or playing a game.Maui Kai is a small, quiet, complex, but a short walk away are the bustling resorts and the food truck area. It’s really the best of both worlds.My Perfect Stays did a great job communicating. We had an issue with our couch in the living room and 2 days later a brand new couch was delivered. They did their best to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.I can’t recommend this condo more!

Simply amazing!!! Super easy check in progress. Breathtaking views and plenty of room for a family. We loved it here. So close to great beaches and great food. With a wonderful view to watch the sunset every night.

BUGS

Overall our stay was good. however the condo is infested with bugs. Particularly the rocker recliners and the main couch. I sat mostly in the rocker recliner and by departure was covered in bites more than 2 dozen, I spent 90% of my time in the condo so I doubt I was bitten any where else, There were small piles of sawdust under the couch every morning. I have been coming to Maui since 1975 and don't recall ever receiving a bug bite. I will be choosing my Condo's more carefully in the future.

Nice place

A good condo. Not fancy but also not as much money as other area condos. Great view of the ocean just outside the back huge window. Nice pool area and hot tub and nice beach next door. Nice path down the lakefront to more beaches! No complaints.

Fantastic location

This condo is right on the water. You feel like you are on the water, listening to the waves and watching whales and turtles from your chair. Has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable!

Simply Incredible

This unit was exactly as described. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and little extras like board games, guest book and welcome gift. WOW - the view of the ocean with the big giant windows was breathtaking!! Definitely staying here again.

Whale of a good time!

Wonderful condo that was fully equipped for all your needs. Nice pool area with BBQ grills available for the guests at the pool facility. This unit has 4’x6’ sliding glass windows that open up to a magnificent ocean view. If you enjoy watching whales, this is the place to be!

Maui Paradise

Loved this unit. Beautiful view, nice swimming beach, everything within walking distance. There are several Food Trucks nearby with lots of options and outside eating. The kitchen is nicely furnished so we prepared most meals. There are 9 floors in the building but we hardly saw anyone. Very quite. No loud partiers! Very relaxing spot for vacation.

Maui Strong

Perfect Stays was the host and was terrible! Zero communication from them during the troubling times. I understand they had no control of the loss of power and the fires, and all that was impacted but there was no communication during or after. Other visitors who booked with different hosts had lots of communication and refunds. I couldn’t get flashlights or any communication back from our host, zero from them! Very frustrating!

Amazing view and beach access

Perfect place to stay with family. We all loved this view and easy beach access. Just 30 seconds from beach. My kids were super happy. Will definitely stay here again. 5 stars!!!!

Fantastic location

This unit was great for our family of 4. The 2 twin beds works perfectly for our 2 kids. The unit was extremely well stocked with everything we needed for our 9 night stay. The location was great and was walking distance to great beaches and snorkeling. My only complaint has nothing to do with our stay, but I wish there was laundry in the unit. That being said, the laundry was across the hall, which made it very easy. The only challenge was getting change to use it since the change machine was out of order.

Central to everything we like

Great location. Open the sliders to see and hear the ocean lapping up on the rocks. Clean and well kept. Had everything we needed. Internet was great, and bed was comfortable. Could use a couple upgrades to the shower and the furniture. But all in all it was very comfortable to stay in.
