Everything was great. The only thing I would suggest is having some dish clothes for cleaning. I hate sponges so we used the wash clothes from the bathroom.

We loved every thing about our stay except the noise at night. From all 3 bedrooms you can hear when chairs are moved from the unit above. The chairs really need better pads or rugs.

Family vacation

We had a great time! Sad to be leaving. Can’t wait to come back. Loved the space of a condo, with a resort feel. Pool areas were beautiful. Beach access was just steps away.

725 Honua Kai

The condo was beautiful and the property is as well. The host was great, however there was a painting project that was not disclosed when we reserved the condo. It was quite loud during the day with the lifts operating and pressure washing. We were out most days so it was just a little annoying. That being said I do recommend the property and would return once the painting was done

Beautiful Maui Vacation

Overall, the property and grounds were beautiful and well kept. We had no trouble checking in and everything was as described. We had a couple issues while we were there which Maui Resort Rentals handled almost immediately. Way faster than any other place I have ever stayed. The staff at MRR were super friendly and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The condo itself was spacious and lovely. I love that the balcony window/doors open completely to allow you to enjoy the sights and sounds of Maui. Even in July, it wasn't too hot to have them open for most of the time we were there. The beds were comfortable. We paid for the mid stay cleaning and the late checkout. Both totally worth it. Our only complaint, that we never mentioned to them is how loud the clothes washer is. I am sure if we had mentioned it to them they would have fixed this too. Thanks MRR for a wonderful stay.

Great location and experience

Location was amazing. Beautiful property and view was impeccable. Overall, would definitely come back. Few small issues: only one key card provided for party of 6 because of shortage of keys seemed odd (never could get more than 2), beautiful oven but no oven pans in the room to cook with, oven settings on oven were rubbed off probably because of cleaning supplies.

Gorgeous View!

I stayed with my family in January. We found the property and unit to be exactly as advertised. We especially enjoyed the pool and proximity to the beach. Definitely best of everything. Whale watching from the living room or beach was amazing. We were very happy with the service at the pool. Jodi is a frequent server and was wonderful. We asked for a late check out and the management had to replace our wristbands to accommodate our request. The process was very smooth. The coffee and chocolates were a nice touch upon arrival. The closest food trucks were a five minute walk which was great. I would stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous views!

Besides the views being awesome and watching the whales from the balcony....the condo was perfect! Had everything we needed to cook and make beverages. All top of the line appliances. We will definitely be back.

Nice resort and clean but broken appliances

This resort was very nice and had a beautiful beach. The pools were amazing and my kids loved them. The location was as listed. I felt it was mostly clean but could use a deep clean of the floors. The dishwasher rack and the freezer drawer are both broken. It was a little annoying but we were still able to use them. The only complaint I would have is the parking. You had to park so far away. The parking garage was always full and having a larger car made it nearly impossible to even park in there. You could park on the street but you were just lucky if you found a spot. Be prepared to walk a distance to your car. That being said, they were not very helpful when it came to getting a car full of groceries to our room. Other than that we had a really great time!!!

The property was accurate to the photos, great views of the ocean, sunset, and the whale watching is fantastic. At first, especially at night, it is a little tricky finding the Konea Tower but the check-in was easy and fast. We didn't have any problems with the garage pass or finding parking. Very family-friendly, the pools and grounds were great. The beach is rocky but a 5-minute walk down the beach towards the Westin, you will find sandy bottoms and fewer rocks. Rent the snorkel gear and you'll see schools of fish, we saw and followed a sea turtle too. Duke's was ok, service was slow due to COVID stuff so don't expect to get in and out quickly. The unit's kitchen had everything you need but the Henckel knife set wasn't there and the only chef knife had a broken tip. We were disappointed with the nearby local grocery store and the area outside of the property. Lahaina is touristy, but the store there had local fresh fish. We enjoyed the vibe better in Kihei but it is a good drive to get there. Inside the property, The Whaler's General Store is like something you would find at the airport but the Aina Gourmet Market in the Hokulani Tower is much better. The unit was very clean with little visible wear but it's time to change the air filters. Note, the washer & dryer work best with small loads! I would recommend the Hona Kai for families with young children and older generations (I'm 66).

Beautiful view & great location

The check-in process was quick & easy. Parking in the deck was convenient and there were always spots available. The condo was accurate to the photos, clean and perfect for 6 adults. It was a short walk to the pools & beach. The towels were located in convenient spots on the property & the beach chairs provided were nice to have. We would certainly stay here again.

Nice room and view but would not stay here again

The unit itself was clean and fully equipped with all your needs with a beautiful view. There are two entrances to the resort (front and back) The GPS took us to the back entrance which is gated. We could not get in and no one would answer the phone. They didn’t have enough wrist bands for our party of 4 and gave us cards to use. Our parking pass never worked at the back entrance even though we told security about it multiple times. They were only interested that it worked for the garage. There are not enough parking spots in the parking garage and several times we had to park in the villas and walk. There are not enough seats at the pool and unless you camp out at 6am don’t plan on sitting at any of the pool areas. You can not reserve seats with your towel as security will take them unless you are sitting with them. The beach is not swimmable at this resort as most of it has rocks that will cut your feet. Despite the nice room and view, I would not stay at this resort in the future.

We were so thrilled to finally be back in Maui. That said, having stayed at this property many times before, we were disappointed. The unit was not properly cleaned with fingerprints and smudge marks on the doors. The fronts of the appliances also had fingerprints. The furniture and carpets were stained. The property also wasn’t cleaned in particular the cabanas (I believe these are owned and operated by a third party?). They weren’t cleaned daily. We found trash many days. The communication with this particular property management company was great and allowing us to delay our stay one year due to covid.
