Absolutely amazing

We as a family have stayed at many VRBO listings. This one was by far the best we have EVER stayed at! BEAUTIFUL location, photos completely accurate - even better in reality, the condo was spotless, every amenity we could need, the resort was impeccable with extremely helpful staff, check in and out was a breeze and I loved the key pad instead of keys to get into the condo. Much easier than keeping up with keys. The resort was a very relaxed atmosphere even as busy as it was. We never felt rushed or crowded. It was our first time visiting Maui and I can be sure we will be back and looking forward to staying again.

Best room location!

We LOVED our stay in H536! It’s in the best location on the property with a more quiet corner unit, the most amazing ocean and mountain views and the biggest lanai! We will definitely be back. Maui Resort Rentals was so easy to work with and they made everything super easy!

great locale and comfort

The resort was very nice and conveniently located to Lahaina. Duke's was also a nice restaurant on site. The condo itself was great as well with comfortable beds and furnishings. The view and balcony are wonderful. Only negative comment is that they need to replace the frying pan. Maybe a set of non-stick would be in order. Otherwise, we would happily stay there again.

Great getaway!

Loved this place as it was very clean and located in a great area, right on the beach with plenty of space, multiple pools and Duke's restaurant right on the property. It was also close walking distance to a food truck area that serves good food and across the street is a supermarket and rental car agencies. The place itself was super clean and we really appreciate that beach chairs, roller cooler and snorkel gear was provided in the suite. The balcony was large, clean and very nice to spend time on. If you're looking for a private place to stay in Maui and have some resort amenities, this is the place.

Highly Recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Honua Kai 536. The unit is huge and the view from the enormous balcony was awesome with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. The windows and doors to the balcony open completely for a really lovely open air feel. The most pleasant surprise was the unit was equipped with four beach chairs, a large beach umbrella, a wagon and cooler—this made our beach days so comfortable without having to rent these items for more $$. The price to rent seemed like a total steal compared to other places around. Duke’s restaurant on property is delicious with more great views. Because you’re renting through a third party rather than Honua Kai directly, if your unit has any issues the resort can’t help you BUT when we were out of shampoo or when the hair dryer broke, I just messaged the management company through the VRBO app and they had us resolved in no time. They were even able to accommodate a 9 PM late check out for a reasonable fee on our last day. The one and only gripe I have about the resort is there are not nearly enough chairs by the pool, it always felt like a rat race for a good pool chair but the beach was only steps away so this never dampened our time too much. Overall I would highly recommend this rental!!!

Nice unit

The unit is as advertised. We stay at Honua Kai every year. Love the resort. Love the location. Even during the peak shutdown week of Covid for Hawaii in 2020. It's just allows for whatever you want to do. Adventure? Relaxation? You choose each day.

Beautiful condo and resort

Family of 5 had a great time! Large lanai with beautiful views! Resort was well kept and very nice!! Beds were comfy, even the pull out sofa! Plenty of room for our family! They even left some banana bread and coffee for us, which was perfect! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to stay again. Management was very helpful and considerate with our needs. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony in the morning as well as playing games at night. The balcony provided extra space for our family as some wanted to rest earlier than others. We also utilized the beach chairs and umbrella which was a great help. It would Have been nice to have some games located in the condo for use. The kitchen was adequate for our needs and we used up all the complementary coffee which was perfect for breakfasts. Thanks for sharing and we’d love to come back!
