Check-in was a breeze with the help of Karen at front desk. As we walked in, we saw the amazing view, which is exactly what we were looking for-right on the crystal clear water! We saw lots of turtles from the window. The place was very clean, kitchen had everything you needed, from spices to gadgets to pots and pans for cooking. Bed was super comfy, & the view from the bedroom was just as fantastic as the family room view! Bathroom provided full bottles of shampoo, body wash, & lotion. Laundry area was equipped with plenty of detergent pods & dryer sheets, which is not a common practice for any of the VRBOs I have ever been to. We did a few beach days & since there is no beach space at the Mahana resort big enough to layout at, we packed our Tommy Bahama chairs (4 are there for use), cooler (small or larger-provided in VRBO), & towels provided by the resort & walked about 5 minutes down to a bigger beach in front of Dukes restaurant. There are 3 decent places to eat by Dukes or we drove down to Whalers Village, which had more dining options & shopping. We did notice that the VRBOs location was less crowded & had very few families (kids)-seemed more like an adult chill area. Whalers Village, on the other hand, was very busy with the majority of families with kids. I might also add in the lobby, there was a "Lending Library" for readers to grab a book. We also used the gas grills outside & they were cleaned daily. VRBO owner Crystal was amazing and checked in with us day 2!
