Property was impeccably maintained with daily housekeeping and virtually everything you would need to live there for a long term stay. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner and actually went home and bought some of the tools they had available for us to use. Top of the line equipment, cookware and tools. Working from home at the property would maybe be the one draw back. I ended up working in the garage game room which was comfortable enough for my needs. A small desk in the loft area is provided but wasn’t sufficient for me to have private virtual meetings. Beach access was simple, no need to bring any accessories to enjoy the beach (chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc - almost anything you can think of). The game room in the garage and the game table were a welcome surprise - we spent many evenings using those areas. Easy access to shopping, golf and other resorts. Very happy with our stay!

Wonderful

We just returned from this beautiful property and already miss it. Perfect location - just a few steps to the sand for laying on the beach or great snorkeling. We saw turtles, manta rays and lots of fish. Also walkable to restaurants and shave ice. We hopped on the Kaanapali trolley for a trip to Whalers Village. Kids and adults loved the game room garage, we comfortably watched movies at night and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds! We all spent hours in the heated pool and the hot tub enjoying the Hawaiian breezes and spectacular sunsets. Jodie was also wonderful for recommendations and for making our stay easy and convenient. We hope to return soon!

A Special Week

The property, location and the property manager ( Jodie ) were above what we could have every imagined. The house is beautiful, up to date with lots of new technology, but still has a lot of charm to it. The daily cleaning team were awesome, as was Eric the Asst property manager. Jodie was awesome prior to our arrival, her recomendations for activieties, pre-stock groceries etc. were all spot on! The house location could not be better, walk to breakfast places, happy hour places and even a food truck venue. It was my wifes's 60th birthday and we took the adult children and their significant others, we could not have had better accomodations or a better location. Chef Peter ( Maui Private Chef ) came to the house twice, and besides cooking amazing meals, and having us try some local foods, he became our friend, highly recommend Chef Pete! Jodie/Eric, thank you for everything, every dream came true during this vacation. Exceptional in every facet. See you again! John and Deborah

Simply amazing!

This home is amazing. Jodie and Eric have thought of everything and then some! Eric greeted us upon arrival and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very responsive, even showing up within 10 minutes on our last full day there to adjust the settings on the hot tub so it would heat properly after the pool cleaning staff had forgotten to reset it when they left, saying “we need you to enjoy your last day!” The moment we stepped foot on property we knew we wouldn’t want to leave when the time came! It is absolutely stunning, with every creature comfort and any other item you could ever imagine wanting. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We truly felt at home and at ease. The linens, and all the other comforts, were amazing. The housekeepers also did a lovely job each morning, though they were so unassuming we barely ever knew they were there! The entire home is well appointed and the kitchen is so well laid out for anyone who loves to cook, stocked with every kitchen item under the sun. Jodie also recommended an amazing chef, Hillary, who cooked three absolutely delicious dinners for us! The beach was just steps away and the views are unparalleled, with snorkeling, daily dolphins to be seen from the beach boardwalk, and sunsets taking center stage — it was amazing!! I just can’t sufficiently express how lovely this property is and how wonderful the experience that it provides is. Thank you again for a most memorable time!

Paradise FOUND!!

Been visiting the islands since 1983, THIS house and all its spoils is truly the crown jewel! Jodie and Eric have thought of everything. The house is perfectly appointed. From the moment you step foot on property you won’t want to leave. It is absolutely stunning. Every comfort thought of, no wish left ungranted❤️. The views unparalleled, daily whale and dolphins from the deck— it was spectacular!! We can’t wait for next year!!! Thank you again for a most memorable time!

A slice of heaven, with all the details

This house is gorgeous and was perfect for our group. The location was ideal, with the beach and walkway nearby. The house had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, the pool and hot tub, you name it. Who wants to go out to eat when you have a lovely outdoor kitchen to make meals? Having a pool was a key component--We all went in the ocean, but spent far more time in the pool. The whale watching from the house was stunning--we saw many breeching whales, right from our second-floor balconies! Jodie and her team were fantastic and so responsive. The housekeeper was excellent as well. Excited about returning in 2024!

Outstanding!!

This beautiful beachfront home was even more amazing than expected. The booking experience, with Jodie, was friendly and seamless. Jodie was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed and wished for during our stay. Eric greeted us upon arrival and was incredibly personable, helpful and knowledgeable. He was always available during our stay for any questions we had. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We truly felt at home and at ease. The linens, and all the other creature comforts, were amazing. The housekeepers did a lovely job each morning. The kitchen is so well laid out for anyone who loves to cook and entertain, tons of space and every kitchen item under the sun. Even the outdoor grill was spotless. I could carry on endlessly, but let's just say we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend.

Perfect family vacation

My family rented this property for a week over Thanksgiving and we could not have asked for anything more. The house is incredibly beautiful, and right on Kaanapali beach. The house has every amenity you could think of, the property manager Jodie is responsive and welcoming, and the daily housekeeping was awesome. It was the perfect place for our kids who loved playing in the pool all day while the adults relaxed with tropical drinks! All in all, a fantastic trip, and we hope to be back some day!

Amazing Property!

This was one of the most amazing properties we have been to and the view is spectacular. Sunsets were gorgeous and center stage. The house was very well appointed and nothing was left wanting. Jodie was awesome and extremely helpful from recommending chefs to helping have groceries stocked when we got there. I cannot recommend this property enough!!

Perfect week in Maui

What an incredible week we had at 40 Kai Ala!!! From the minute we passed thru the gates we were blown away! The grounds and the home were amazing! Jodie had everything perfectly set up for us including the welcoming beautifully lit Christmas tree and stockings! All the people we came in contact with who were working at the house were attentive and very friendly and helpful!! Jodie and her staff were more than accommodating with everything we asked!!! We absolutely hated to leave! It was an incredibly special time for us to spend with our whole family!

Incredible week!

We could not have enjoyed our special week at this house any more! The house was beautiful and spacious. The backyard and pool were absolutely stunning. They provided a perfect backdrop for watching the gorgeous Maui sunsets. Jodie was fantastic and made our check-in a breeze. She also connected us with a very helpful concierge who set up activities from a luau to lunch at Mama’s Fish house. This was a very special week... as it was Thanksgiving and my Dad’s 80th birthday celebration. I couldn’t have asked for a more well-appointed, better situated, lovely home to make a week full of memories. Thank you Jodie and Eric for your help and coordination in making it a dream trip for our family.

Perfection

The location of this home was truly perfect. The home was gorgeous. Easy access to the beach, grocery stores and water activities while allowing enough privacy for our family. Our group consisted of 6 adults (4 college age kids) and my husband and I. We settled into the house rather easily and with a kitchen that had everything you could possible need to make dinners at home, we opted to enjoy cooking at home and dinners on the patio. We absolutely adore Jodie, the manager. She was quick to respond to any questions and gave great tips on dining out options when we got lazy and didn't want to cook dinner at the home. The house cleaning staff was very courteous and extremely thorough with cleaning the large home every day. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We will be back and Jodie will be our "go to". Mahalo~The Mello Family
