We had a great stay in KS725! Perfect for 2 couples. Plenty of towels, additional fans were great at bedtime (we like moving air, and the AC seemed to have a regulator that kept it at 74F even when set it lower) I appreciated the property manager checking in to see if we needed anything. They were attentive and easy to reach before and during our stay. It was nice to have a large rolling cooler, and we wished there was a smaller one too. We made heavy use of the coffee maker and kitchen, cooking breakfast and dinner in the unit. The BBQ's for KS are in an inconvenient space (by the tennis courts in the front of the resort and parking garage), not the fault of the owners. We did use them as well, and hope KS will consider putting them in the courtyard/pool area like the other resorts. Parking was easy, just paid for a week pass. The market across the street was convenient, as was the Food Truck Park across the street. There is also a GREAT little dive bar/coffee shop with live music in the strip shopping center across the street that we wish we had discovered earlier! FUN! The Mai Tai's at the bar in the on-site restaurant are VERY yummy, and they will add a Lilikoi Foam if you ask - A MUST! Great location and we will definitely return to THIS unit. Thank You for a great stay!

Great place to stay

We'd love staying in this condo. It was very close to all the amenities. It had everything we needed to be able to fix meals there. It was nice having washer and dryer. The beach chairs were great to have when we went down to the beach. Check in was very easy. The food trucks located at the entrance were very good. And there was a pizza place across the street that was incredible. We would definitely stay here again

Second time staying here

We love this condo and this property, it works perfectly for us when we're staying in West Maui. We always try to make it back to the balcony and watch the birds all turn in for the night at dusk. Clean, plenty of room for four, great location - we'll be back.

Kaanapali shores rental

This was a perfect location. It was right next to beautiful beaches, the snorkel rental, restaurants, grocery store, and the best cinnamon rolls at papi’s Ohana. The unit itself met our needs and had a beautiful view of the ocean and hotel garden area. We even loved the sound of the birds that were so loud as they gathered in the trees below every sunrise and sunset. The unit desperately needs either a deep carpet clean or replacement of carpet.

Wonderful place.

As stated in few other reviews the unit a little dated from the pictures but that didn’t effect or stay at all. We found one of the beach chairs broken when we took it out for the first time. A simple message to the management company and they dropped off a brand new chair that day! The kids loved both pools. Will totally ve coming back.

Wonderful stay on Kaanapali

The room matched the pictures perfectly! Great view out over the garden pool looking directly at the ocean. Comfortable and very nice room with everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen and a washer dryer made our stay super comfy. We used the provided beach chairs and cooler everyday to make the most of our time at the beach. The customer service team for the rental checked in regularly and we knew exactly how to contact them if we needed anything. Check-in was super easy and all instructions were clear and communicated well in advance. Was a breeze! Additionally, the community was very clean and the staff was friendly. All around, a great stay!

We loved the place- perfect setup for our family vacation. The place was lovely- we spent a lot of time on the spacious balcony enjoying the ocean view. There was food close by we could just walk to. It was a great location- we would stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back to Maui!

Overall the place is quite nice. We did run into a few cockroaches but I believe this is common in Hawaii. The place was clean. A little dated but cozy. Kitchen could have used a few items such as tongs as we did cook a fair amount. The TV was a bit difficult at times. The TV and box don’t sync up well together and was a bit frustrating at times. The place in general is very good, we would return and recommend staying here.

Would stay again!

Condo was just as pictured! Great location. It worked out great for a family of four. Close to the pools and beach access. Birds are a bit noisy, but not a nuisance. Only thing that was missing for us was a full length mirror. Beds were a bit soft for us, but that's a personal preference. Carpet was a little dingy, but I've seen much worse in rentals! We've stayed in many rentals. Every one has pros and cons. Cons were pretty minor here and it worked out well for our family (kids 10 and 5). We would stay again. *for those booking during the construction... It is very close, literally the building next door. It wasn't too noisy for us and we came back to the condo in the afternoons. Some days were louder than others, but not a deal breaker.

Great resort and very comfortable unit

We had a wonderful family vacation in Kaanapali. The unit was very well located not only within resort but also in Maui. The view from the room was of the pools and lush landscaping to the ocean. At dusk, the birds fly down to the lush gardens from the rooftop which is quite a show. The unit itself was nicely laid out with the bedrooms on opposite sides of the unit. The beds were comfortable and the black out blinds let you wake up when you want rather than when the sun tells you to wake up. We were able to use 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs during our stay which were fantastic along with an ice chest. We also enjoyed the shuffle board and pickle ball courts for a late afternoon game. I would highly recommend this unit and resort for your next Maui stay.

Nice condo layout

The unit had a nice layout and nice view of the ocean. The property is a solid three star location and a great value for Maui. The resort attracts families with young kids and teenagers, and the staff and other guests were friendly. The resort and unit need an overall update and refresh. The resort common areas are very dated, and the work out room had several leaks with garage buckets catching the drips during our stay, which illustrates the property needs some maintenance. The unit does have some stained carpet, but the beds were comfortable. The host supplied plenty of supplies and all the appliances worked well. And we were able to enjoy a full day each day as the birds are so loud they wake you up at 6 am. :) The second bedroom is also on the hallway and is loud, so pack ear plugs. We did not mind - we treated it as if we were in NYC at Times Square - those hotels supply earplugs. We went to Walgreens and purchased some. Again, the price on the unit is a great value for Maui, so we adjusted and enjoyed our visit!

Perfect Vacation

This condo matches all the photos and the view from the balcony was even more beautiful than the photos. The balcony had a gorgeous view of the gardens, the waterfall, the lit large pool AND the ocean. Truly a wonderful place to stay with all the amenities you would want.

Hawaiian family vacation

This was our families 1st vacation to Maui. We were traveling with 2 teenage boys. The 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our needs. It was beautiful and the location to everything was perfect. You could see the ocean from the lanai. The in room washer and dryer were so convenient. I would definitely use this property again. Thanks for a great stay!

I would not stay here again

It was not clean and the online photos are not an accurate view of what the property actually is. We arrived to a text that the main bedroom shower was broken and would be repaired by the next day at 10:00 am. The following day the shower was not repaired by noon. Instead I was told the part was on order. The plumber left dirty foot prints in the bath tub. I contacted the rental company and finally received a notification that the shower would be repaired sometime that day. It was repaired that evening. More than 24 hours after our arrival. There is not a complete set of pots and pans. Some of the existing pots, pans and dishes were dirty. The cleaning staff does check everything. The top edge of the counters in the kitchen and bath hadn't been wiped off in a while. There is a picture nail hole in the wall in the main bathroom. There is paint missing around the mirror in the second bathroom. There is a broken door handle in the main bedroom closet. There are holes in the balcony chaise lounge. There is water damage around the tub/shower in the main bathroom. The place needs a lot of work. The baseboards are chipped. Paint does not cover everything. The towels and bedding were clean. I could not rent this place to a visitor if I owned it or managed it.
