Not very clean. Sand everywhere, hair in bathroom. Mattress cover in master bedroom, ick.... The posting pics show welcome coffee and chocolate, Unfortunately we didn't get any. You will need to buy everything for your stay. There was no anything for the kitchen ( salt foil wrap spices coffee filters) anything a previous renter would have purchased is removed. The location and view is everything.

The perfect view

Having stayed at the Mahana in years past, this unit exceeded all expectations. The view was magnificent and perfect for whale watching off the massive lanai. As always, a short walk down the beach gets you to some great snorkel spots when the conditions are right.

We came because of the huge discount for no AC during the roof construction. It was great. Nothing beats the Mahana resort as it is low density and close to the water on airport beach!

Property was well maintained and short walk to the beach area for the kids using the wagon and beach gear (umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards) provided in the closet. Only complaint with nature was the high winds during the afternoons common to this side of the island during July. Sunsets beautiful from the Lanai at just the right height for the palm trees. Overall, nearly perfect.

Family Getaway

Aloha! We arrived in Maui with our two adult children. The unit was exactly as described. We had great communication from the management to ensure we had check-in information and they followed up to see if we needed anything. The beds and living areas were very comfortable. We made coffee and meals in the kitchen and ordered some meals that we brought back to the unit. We had everything we needed. There are also beach chairs and towels to use. The location is great and allowed for time on the beach in front of the property and pool and hot tub so you didn't have to leave the property if you didn't want to. It's also close to a lot of spots so we were able to snorkel in several bays. We also did a pineapple farm tour. We drove to nearby shopping and restaurants and also walked to a few places nearby. The unit was perfect for our family getaway and we enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning for another stay. Mahalo!

Maui Vacation

It was easy renting this property, the only thing was the balcony and grounds . We thought the balcony was much bigger bc it was advertised to be bigger than it was. We believed it had 3 pools. It should have been more specific , KBM is not the resort, it’s the management company. You should say the Mahana. We pulled into the driveway and there was nothing that said KBM, we realized rather quickly it was not called KBM. Overall it was a great vacation and very comfortable , the bathrooms were clean and updated. The pool was clean too. My kids loved it. It felt like a home away from home. We appreciated having beach chairs and coolers. I would definitely stay at the Mahana again.

We enjoyed the view from this unit. The building had construction but it did not impact our stay. The Lanai furniture needs replacing. Otherwise, we would request the unit again.

The original property I booked was not ready for to renovations not finished. So they did a fantastic job finding a replacement considering the crazy status Hawaii is in.

It was stunning view. Our family ( 5 of us) enjoyed the house very much . Very clean , mew furnitures, cool TV, bathrooms are big. We love everything about this house . The only draw back is drive a little far to the airport, and other places, but of course minutes drive to beautiful beaches with great view for pictures. Thanks KMB for a great property!

No beach, Very Windy

The room was great --- huge, comfortable, and well-maintained. We came here mainly because it was on the beach; we thought we could wake up and just roll outside and play. I must not have looked at the website carefully, because the beach is all covered in cement to prevent erosion --- you can't swim there. You have to walk about a quarter mile down the beach to find a spot to swim, but even then it's a challenge because it was so windy it was like we were getting sandblasted while we tried to sit on the sand. The microdermabrasion made my legs nice and smooth, but wasn't much fun for the kids --- or my corneas. The pool is in the center of the two towers of the complex, so it funneled the wind there into even more of a wind tunnel, so that wasn't an option either. We were just so disappointed to have this great room and have to get in the car every day to find some random beach to spend time at, and spent most of our time searching for a good place to go.

Amazing Maui condo

The location and views were The best. The lanai was large with several seating options. It had all the comforts of home with a view of the ocean from the kitchen. It was very clean and stocked well. A closet even had boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The management company responded quickly to fix the ice machine. They even provided a bag of ice until the machine had ice ready. The pool and jacuzzi were well taken care of and the bbqs on property were cleaned daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The best property we have stayed at using VRBO.

My husband and I shared this spacious place with my sister and her husband. Beautiful views, right above beach and view of pool and hot tub also! Lovely interior decor. The Property management team was not the easiest to work with. We were given an agent's name to contact once we got to Maui but that person never returned our calls or texts. I called the office directly and got a quick response. The only other negative would be the items in the condo or rather lack of them.. Kitchen needs oven mitts and pot holders (none available) , meat thermometer, dust pan was broken and broom needed a good washing. Refrigerator "change filter" light was on, Knife block could probably use a good "blow out" majority of knives pulled out dirty and one broken tip. Spices were not labeled with expiration dates (this was done at a previous condo we stayed at- very nice to see). I would like to see a wall mirror in the non view bedroom on the wall. between bathroom and bed.(closet wall). This was an extremely nice condo association and was very well maintained. We would love to stay here again!

First time to Maui. Busy trying to fit in everything in a week.

I would have to say that the helicopter tour was my favorite. The Mahana is very conveniently located to restaurants and shops. The Times grocery store is close by. The pool and hottub are great! Right at the north end of the boardwalk which is usually very full of families ealking and joggers. Overall great plave to stay.
