My husband and I had such a great stay in J218 at the Maui el dorado! I was here for a conference at the Sheraton and it was extremely convenient to stay here because there is a walking path right down to all the resorts. It took maybe about 7 minutes or so to get to the Sheraton from the room. The condo was really cute and had an extremely comfortable bed. We had really everything we needed in the kitchen and there was even a small pantry with things like olive oil, foil, salt, pepper, etc. You can see the ocean from the balcony and we could even see whales breaching right from there. They provide some binoculars but we didn’t really even need them. The beach cabana is also great and the beach is only a short walk! Also conveniently located on the golf course so my husband would golf while I was at the conference everyday. The whaler village was also only about a 15 minute walk with places to shop and great restaurants. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay in the studio unit. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do, yet peaceful and relaxing. The space was very clean and well cared for, and the appliances were modern and easy to use. It truly had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable and at home. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view each day was such a highlight and made the experience even more special. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The beach was so close we walked there every morning and snorkled, saw turtles, spotted eagle rays, tons of different fishes. Our place was clean, beach chairs and snorkel gear on site. The bed was comfy, we'd just sink into after all our daily activities.

We had an amazing stay at J218 Kaanapali Studio! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach with easy access to the Eldorado cabana, which was fully stocked with towels, beach chairs, and everything we needed for the perfect beach day. The studio itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in process was smooth and stress-free. Overall, we absolutely loved the place and can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

We spent a lovely 6 nights at el dorado j218. The condo was in a peaceful and quiet location overlooking the golf course and ocean. The condo itself was perfect for my husband and I. King sized bed was comfortable, condo was clean and furniture was perfect for relaxing. Kitchen amply stocked with dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, appliances, gadgets and basic pantry items. Nice sized bathroom with tile shower, washer/dryer and no need to pack a blow dryer or curling iron! The lanai and beach chairs were a bonus and used daily. Loved it, will definitely come back. Thank you.

Island paradise

We spent two weeks here. Wonderful stay! Property was exactly as shown. Very spacious living room and fully stocked kitchen. The star of the property was the fantastic lanai with table/chairs for sitting and dining, and a recliner for stretching out. View off lanai was even better than expected - golf course with palm trees and ocean in the background - viewable from anywhere you were sitting.One of the great features was the cabana which provided us beach chairs and fresh towels daily. We sat on the beach every single day and saw whales, dolphins, turtles, and a monk seal. Paradise indeed - we can't wait to return!

Quiet and private

Eldorado Maui was very well kept and quiet. The view was across the golf course to the ocean. Nice quiet patio/balcony. Path walk around green to nice beach & cabana. Liked the washer dryer.

Paradise in Ka'anapali

Great location in Ka'anapali north of Black Rock. Quieter area than the business of the big hotels to the south, but still walking distance to Whalers Village. 11 minute walk to the beach or a quick ride in a golf cart down to the cabana. The unit was clean and well furnished, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was stocked with appliances, glasses, pots/pans, utensils, etc. The lanai furniture was very comfortable and a great place for a home cooked meal while watching the sun set. Great to have beach chairs, cooler and umbrella available. Two minor suggestions to make the unit perfect - a kettle for tea drinkers and a ceiling fan on the lanai as the location didn't allow for a lot of breeze and it gets warm with direct sunlight later in the afternoon. Having cake and eating it too!

Check in and out was a snap, everything in between was the sweetest part! Located on a beautiful golf course sided next to the beach and only footsteps away from food venues and outdoor shopping! For those adventurous, black rock cliff and swimming with turtles are just as close, hop skip and a jump to everything you could dream of!

Positives were location and view of golf course and the ocean. Parking level four was good and close to our room and there was always room available. Services to get us to the beach were excellent and prompt. Washer and dryer were convenient and worked well. We appreciated the beach chairs and coolers and other Beach equipment on the deck. We felt that the privacy of our room was fairly good.. Room for improvement. In general the room is dated and needs to be updated. The beddings were old and tattered, although the bed was comfortable itself. The lack of natural lighting could have been improved with brighter indoor lights. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. The floors were dirty and the shower was mildewed. We were able to rectify this problem ourselves.. Due to the natural lack of ventilation in the room, our towels would never dry hanging up therefore, we had to wash them on a daily basis to dry them. The foam floor mats in front of the sink and shower were not washing machine friendly and therefore we found them to be unsanitary. We would’ve preferred floor towel mats which could be washed. The southern screen door was not usable and broken. This created minor irritation . The dishwasher was not connected to the counter therefore when opening the door or tray the entire washer would lean forward. We had a great deal of difficulty working the HVAC and it kept us up most of the night. We would prefer a simpler control to manage room temperature.

Loved the condo!

Great condo for a couple. They include snorkling gear, beach chairs, and even a cooler in case you decide to visit the El Dorado Cabana beach area. I did! No complaints here.

No smoking

The unit below us was smoking consistently, and we informed the office and nothing was done. My wife has respiratory health issues, which made for a very uncomfortable for us on the lanai. The bathrooms in around pools and cabana were constantly not up-kept with paper towels etc.
