"My friends and I go on a group trip each year. There were 13 of us (all 30+) that stayed in the house for 6 nights and it was great! We rented golf carts to get around Potrero and Flamingo. It was easy to ride the roads in the area with a golf cart. The house is in walking distance to Hemingways and a few other restaurants and markets. Perfect location close to private beach which has spectacular sunsets each night. Beach club is awesome and Playa Avallena is such a great, beautiful beach for surfing and boogie boarding. "My husband and I booked this property to take our two young adult sons (21 and 22)on a family vacation. The gated community was perfect for our sons to venture out without us worrying about them driving to unfamiliar areas. It was very convenient to have shops, cafe, restaurant and bar in the gated community. I spent more time on the patio by the pool than in the house! "We came to Tamarindo for a wedding, but didn’t want to stay at the hotel. There were 7 adults in our group who wanted something more private so we chose Hacienda del Pacifico. Pros: Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Courtyard area with pool and outdoor kitchen was AMAZING. Cleaning service came on certain days. Property felt safe and secure. Check in/out was very easy. "A perfect location for a family vacation! We were a family if 9 adults and 9 children ages 3 to 13. We all loved the beach enjoying the shell hunting and playing in the waves.
