"I rented this house to host Thanksgiving for my son and a bunch of guys in his unit at Ft Riley that couldn’t go home. The house isn’t as updated as you would think, but it was clean and comfortable and the views are breathtaking. I did have to leave a day early to stay closer to the airport. "We hadn’t heard from the owner until the day of checkin after I reached out, but their response was timely enough for our stay and very easy instructions to get in, so that was an overall okay experience. The house thermostat was around 55 upon our arrival late in the evening at 10:40pm. There were quite a few cobwebs that seemed as if no one had been there to attend to the place in a while. "Cozy cabin with everything you need to get away from the hubbub and relax. The pictures make it look bigger than it is but the place is nice and equipped with more than enough amenities to have a great time without having to leave. Only two of us during our stay and it was just what we were looking for. The weather wasn’t great but if it was, there is a nice little nook down by the water that would be amazing."

Fabulous experience with the host, amazingly responsive and she bent over backwards to let us check in early.
