Recently stayed here with my family and could not have been happier with the house. Ample space, a great backyard for the kiddos to run around in, and just short 5 minute drive to the lake. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful home! The hosts were very helpful and responsive, all the amenities were as described (or better), and we all felt very cozy and comfortable while we were in the home. If you are bringing food, also bring things like sandwich bags and foil as needed, but everything else was provided, more than enough for the 10 of us! Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Celebrating a birthday with sons and their families. Plenty of room to spread out, play games, watch a movie or even find a quiet spot to read and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake. We had a bald eagle flying whilst at breakfast and deer just the other side of fence. 12 wild turkeys were wandering up the road as we walked down to the lake. Rather a nice workout after lunch. We all enjoyed playing shuffle board and eating s’mores as the sun was setting round the fire pit. House is very well stocked with all you need , we did have a problem accessing check-in info on our phone at the front door but a quick call to Mike and we were in. Looking forward to going again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Lake Cuyamaca! The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. The beds were cozy, and everyone had their own space to relax. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking – we loved spending time on the porch, taking it all in. The house was also well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra towels. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. We had such a great time and will definitely be returning to this perfect lakeside retreat. Highly recommend!

The best part of this house is the view. We spent most of our days lounging on the deck, painting, eating and hanging out. The house is every amenity you can think of too, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and beautiful outdoor grounds. Strong wifi in an area with little cell service. Could not recommend highly enough!

The property is roomy, well-equipped, and comfortable. The deck faces the lake and we spent *a lot* of time out there! Easy drive into Julian and quick access to the freeway into San Diego. An ideal location. The host was flexible and very responsive. A great stay and we are looking forward to returning.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Check in/out was seamless, house was clean, kitchen is extremely well stocked, good selection of toys for younger kids plus a few items in the upstairs bedroom for older kids, yard is beautiful and really well cared for. The view is spectacular. The house is exactly as pictured and we can happily report the beds are as comfortable as they say :) We all slept great. This was a wonderful place to stay for two families! We felt welcome and it was the retreat we all needed.

Our group of 8 had a fantastic June weekend getaway. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains and trees were stunning. The long back porch was our main hangout. Didn't even leave the property, it was so relaxing! The home was clean and very accommodating. Kitchen worked very well. Beds were comfy. Just as advertised. Mike was very responsive for the questions we had. FYI cell phone service can be iffy at times. Our group had a GREAT time and hope to return in '25!

The house was very comfortable for 6 adults. Lots of nice places to sit, whether to join the group or be off by yourself for a while. The house was also very functional, no problem getting the fireplace, heat, or anything else we needed to work. We didn't really cook so can't say anything about stove, etc. The last night and morning it got pretty cold, windy, and rainy, but no problems being comfortable in the house. All in all a very pleasant place for a family from all over the country to get together.

Our stay at the Luxury Lake House was wonderful! My family and friends loved the time we spent there. The home is so welcoming, the views are fantastic, and everyone had the best time exploring Lake Cuyamaca and Julian.

We were pleasantly surprised with this cabin. There was plenty of room for the 5 children’s that joined us on this trip to run around and play. The owners have a supply of toys hidden in a large walk in closet upstairs that we’re perfect of our children’s ages. The views are spectacular. Drinking coffee early morning on the porch watching the sun rise was so relaxing. There is a small patch of grass on the property our children really loved running on. The bonfire pit was my daughters favorite part. The cabin is equipped with almost everything you would need on your stay. We appreciated how responsive and respectful the owners are. We had issues with the WiFi all weekend so the owner purchased more data for us. He promised to update the WiFi the week after we checked out so on our next stay we’ll be able to stream.

We absolutely loved this rental property. We will be going back to stay for more family fun. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The fireplace was amazing as it was very cold while we were there.The kitchen appliances were amazing and new. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The view was outstanding!!

This is a great property to say at, with plenty of room for all 9 of our family members. The house is very clean in and around the property. Beautiful view of the lake and surrounding hills. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful house to rent for vacation or just a weekend getaway.

Me and my family had a great time at this property. We were 7 adults in total at the house, and there was plenty of space for all of us. I was very impressed on how well the property is equipped. We had everything that was necessary for cooking, and have a good time. We loved the fire pit, and the deck facing the lake. Me and my family made unforgettable memories, and It was a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday.

I highly recommend this house. Lots of space, beautiful views, and right in the middle of hiking and horseback riding territory. Mike is easy to work with and very fast replies to questions. Short drive into Julian although if driving in from the city, and you don’t plan to eat out a lot, stop for groceries before leaving the city.
