We just got back from JVD and stayed with Nigel and Karen at their beautiful OceanView Villa. We stayed in the new 1 bedroom Suites overlooking Great Harbour.The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Every morning we had coffee and breakfast overlooking the harbour view and watching all the sailboats come and go.The place is so clean and well equipped with all the amenities needed for a perfect vacation. We had provisions ordered from Tortolla and our hosts arranged to have those picked up from the ferry dock and put away in the unit before we arrived. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a romantic and quiet stay on the island.

The absolute sweetest people you can find in the BVI. They are right there, but will not bother or disturb your vacation. A little gift shop is located at the home too. Really enjoyed our stay at ocean view villa and miss it already!! Highly recommend!

Comfortable and gorgeous!

So thankful for this beautiful property and the helpful staff. We weren’t planning on bringing our 12 yr old, but he ended up tagging along. The staff was great in getting us bedding to use for him.The view was absolute perfection.The only thing I would change is a bit more communication on checking in. Other than that, it was a beautiful and comfortable stay.

Karen and Nigel are super nice people, the unit is beautiful and the views are totally amazing. Every day I woke up and went out on the patio and I could never get enough of the scenery. II did not rent a car and I enjoyed walking. Everything is a 15 minute walk if you’re in decent shape. I highly recommend.

Love it...

Had a great 3-night stay at Karen and Nigel's place. The top of a mountain, overlooking Great Harbor and obviously great views. Very clean, plenty of room. Perfect for a couple. Some simple notes, but not criticisms in any way - the walk up the driveway and then to the unit is steep and walking into town at night is not for the faint of heart, so we took taxi's everywhere. Call Uncle, he was great for this and never let us down. Karen was great and honestly if there were any issues she would have resolved them right away. We would not hesitate staying there again. The property was right dab smack between White Bay and Great Harbor, so it was a 5 minute ride to just about anywhere. Thank you Karen and Nigel!

Spectacular Experience

Can’t say enough good things about this fantastic property. The view of Great Harbour is amazing. Walkable to White Bay (Soggy Dollar) though a taxi back is the way to go. Karen and Nigel are wonderful and attentive hosts. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Fantastic stay/Amazing hosts

We loved our stay at Ocean View Villas. We had one of the top floor one bedroom villas and our view was amazing! We could see both White Bay and Great Harbour from our 2 balconies. We left the doors open most of the time for fabulous ocean breezes and were never hot. The bedroom has an air conditioning unit and we did use that at night since we closed all the doors. It worked perfectly and we were so comfortable!! The villa is well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay! My favorite part of the villa was my morning coffee (they have a coffee maker and filters) out on the balcony watching the fantastic sunrises. We walked down to Great Harbour easily and also walked down to White Bay (a little bit longer but still almost all downhill) and then took a taxi back up. Catching taxis is so easy and all the drivers are super friendly! I do want to say that Nigel and Karen are incredible people! They were so kind to us and helped us anytime we had a question or an issue. They were always available and helped with a smile. We provisioned groceries ahead of time and they received them for us and had it all put away when we got there. They also called a taxi for us one evening when I was having an issue with my phone. We felt just like we were with family!! They are working on a beautiful addition and we are so happy for them! It’s going to be amazing!! Mark, Kristi and Addi Graves

The perfect JVD Villa

We loved this so much! We were smack in the middle with easy access to both White Bay and Great Harbor. Our hosts were wonderful. Picked us up and gave us the lay of the land. You will gasp when you see the superb view of both inlets! Truly a experience my daughters and I will never forget!

Beautiful place! The pictures don’t do it Justice!!!!

This is a clean, well maintained, comfortable unit - it’s bigger than we thought it would be based on the pics! Great kitchen with everything you’d need to cook! Bed is very comfortable. Karen and Nigel were helpful and quick to respond. We didn’t rent a car and we’re able to walk to white bay and great Harbour - and we preferred to cab back (up the hill) though you can walk. The views were AMAZING. Very private unit. Don’t miss out on this lovely spot!
