It says it sleeps 6 but 2 of those would have to go on sofa. We were a family of 4 with young kids and the description of the property did not clarify the second bedroom is separate from main dwelling. Was a problem as our kids are young and cannot be left unattended. The pictures of the property are very generous. They portray the property as bigger as the include images of furniture moved around in different locations within the house. It also depicts the house as a stand alone house devoid of neighbours in the middle of the wilderness. They even included pictures of areas not directly next to the house that further imply the remoteness and privacy of the house in a natural setting. Instead the house is surrounded by neighbours all around, in close proximity, on a regular suburban street.
Disappointing.
The host then sent me pictures of item I’d forgotten, which aside from not being mine, included a bag of white powder. Not sure if he was trying to preempt my negative review or if, worse, that bag of suspicious white powder had been signing reaching/finding distance of my small children. This would also imply the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.
Attempted to call the host. No answer as of yet.
